The “KINOSVET” International Children's Cinema and Television Festival will be held from October, 2025 in Minsk, Belarus.

Festival "KINOSVET" is designed to develop, inspire and support young cinematographers; those who will soon influence the mass culture in their countries. The festival will allow those who want to make this world better, to be seen and heard. And also give a wide range of viewers the taste of a highly moral, deep, humane, inspiring art.

What movies and TV shows are shown around the world today? Who teaches contemporary and, most importantly, future artists and media ways to illuminate moral and, spiritual laws? Who controls the content and ideological direction of the most meaningful and strong types of art? The festival’s purpose is to seek, find, and give a venue to young talents who can create beautiful and meaningful art that makes our world brighter and kinder.

Festival goals:

development of cinematography;
moral education of children and adolescents;
the formation of personality with the help of cinema;

initiation of the younger generation to spiritual culture;

increasing the interest in creating films focused on children and youth audiences.


Festival tasks:

to fill the world with good pictures with humane ideas, moral values in order to make our world brighter;

to revive children’s, youth and family cinema;
to draw the attention of society around the world to social problems that are associated with children, people in need and nature;

to promote true, universal spiritual values;

to educate a new generation of filmmakers;

to expand and strengthen filmmakers connections from different countries both for children and youth;

to draw the attention of state, public and commercial organizations to supporting children’s and family filmmaking as well as to encouraging of the young authors.

The Internatonai Children’s Film and Television Festival “KINOSVET” includes various programs for participation:

Filmmakers aged 10 to 18 who work in film/television studios, film schools, creative associations or shoot their works on their own with a camera or phone can take part in the “KinoLeader” program.

Authors over 18 years of age can take part in the “KinoProfi” program. The selection committee of the festival accepts professional films for children and teenagers made by film/television studios, film schools, creative associations. Independent works of individual authors are also accepted.

Authors over 18 years of age can take part in the program “Hallowed be Thy Name”. In this program the selection committee considers professional films for any age audience, touching on the topics of relationships with God, life according to universal spiritual laws. Films about saints in various spiritual traditions, about miracles are also accepted, where the authors share their experience of contact with the Almighty in the beautiful language of cinema.

Rules for applying for the festival:

The application for participation in the festival is paid and amounts to 7 euro or 700 Russian rubles, or 25 Belarusian rubles for each work.

To apply for the festival, you must :

• Fill out the Google form.

• After filling out the Google form, payment details will be sent to your email.

• In order to ensure that your payment is not lost, we kindly ask you to send us a receipt/receipt by reply letter after you have made the payment.

• If your work meets the technical requirements of this regulation, a diploma of the festival participant will be sent to your email at the end of the festival.

Films for participation in the festival are accepted by the SELECTION Committee.

Those who wish to submit a film for participation in the festival must complete and submit an application for participation in the established Organization committee term.

All films participating in the festival must be sent along with the application to the organizing committee of the festival no later than July 1, 2025.

Any number of works can be submitted from one author to participate in the festival program.

Films that have been shown at other film festivals may take part in the competition.

Films that were sent to the competition program in previous years to “KINOSVET” cannot participate in the festival.

The festival management reserves the right to use film fragments for festival promotional purposes.

Technical requirements

The selection committee of the festival gives priority to films that raise issues of friendship, loyalty, unity, honor, love, compassion, mercy, respect, diligence, responsibility, patience, sincerity and other moral values.

All submitted works must be free of:

– scenes and plots that offend the feelings of believers (of various faiths and religions);

– plots and frames that advertise or promote drugs, alcohol, smoking and other bad habits;

– scenes of cruelty and violence;

– profanity and obscene expressions.

The organizers of the festival are not responsible for errors and inaccuracies contained in the submitted application.

Mounted fragments or excerpts from several programs are not accepted.

The organizers of the festival are not responsible for the violation by the participants of the copyrights of third parties.

If the winner cannot attend the festival, then a copy of the diploma will be sent to him by e-mail, and Org. the committee may invite participants out of the competition at its discretion.

Festival stages

The festival takes place in three stages:

Stage I (organizational) takes place from November 28, 2024 to July 1, 2025. The organizing committee accepts applications for nominations.

Stage II (selection) – from July 1 to August 1, 2025. The selection committee reviews films and selects the festival nominees.

Stage III (competitive) - autumn 2025 (the exact date is being specified) – the training program of the festival, during which master classes, meetings with actors, lectures, awarding of the winners of the festival
