The 12th RESISTENCIA FILM FEST is an international film festival created to showcase films that promote the recovery of historical memory, the fight for freedom, and the defense of Human Rights.

The screening of the participating films in this 12th edition will include in-theater exhibitions, the television and online program “Películas de bolsillo" ("Pocket films”), and a traveling showcase in various spaces and locations.

12th RESISTENCIA FILM FEST 2025

The 12th International Film Festival RESISTENCIA FILM FEST, RFF25, invites all national and international filmmakers to participate with films that promote the recovery of historical memory, the fight for freedom, and the defense of Human Rights.

Fiction, documentary, and experimental films may apply for selection, including short, medium-length, and feature-length films.

All films must be spoken or subtitled in Spanish.

Participating works will compete for the Jury Award, the "El Joven Combatiente" trophy.

RFF25 will be held in three formats: in-theater screenings, the television and online program "Películas de Bolsillo" (Pocket Films), and a traveling showcase in different spaces and venues.

In-person edition: December 17 to 20, 2025.
“Películas de Bolsillo” program: March to December 2026.
Television version for short and feature films: Selected participants who confirm their participation grant screening rights for their films to be broadcast through the festival's program “Películas de Bolsillo”.

There is no entry fee for Chilean films. A US$ 5.00 fee applies to international films.

Applications to RFF25 must be submitted exclusively through FESTHOME.

Submissions must include: the film file in Full HD, Codec H.264, .mp4 format, plus a poster, two stills from the film, one photo of the director, and a technical sheet.

A selection jury will determine the final list of films participating in RFF25.

Final deadline for submissions: August 31, 2025.

Selected films will be notified via Festhome and email.

Submission of a film implies full acceptance of the RFF25 Rules and Regulations.
