The Territorio Sacromonte International Audiovisual Festival takes place in the city of Granada (Andalusia) in the emblematic Sacromonte neighborhood in front of the Alhambra monument. In the Cuevas del Sacromonte Museum, a protected open-air space of more than 10,000 meters located in the Darro Valley, declared a Site of Cultural Interest, the projections of our Official Audiovisual Section from around the world are held.
At the same time, an extensive program of activities is carried out that includes concerts, exhibitions, artistic actions or shows in unique spaces in the neighborhood.

Currently our Festival has a single prize of €1000 for the Best Audiovisual, although there is the possibility of expanding the prize or opting for another modality depending on the expansion of sponsorship.
The Territorio Sacromonte International Audiovisual Festival will take place from August 27 to September 1, 2024 at the Cuevas del Sacromonte Museum, an emblematic place in this unique neighborhood in front of the Alhambra.
The different works that compete must take into account the following bases:
1. The person submitting the film (the applicant) acknowledges that he has obtained the consent of each and every owner, creator, writer, producer and/or other authorized representative of the film. Any claim that may arise due to intellectual property rights will be the responsibility of the person or entity that submits the work to the competition.
2. Individuals or legal entities of any nationality may participate in the festival as long as they have reached the age of 18.
3. The submission deadline is June 30, 2024. Registrations that arrive after the deadline will not be accepted.
4. Before June 30, participants will be notified by mail of the works selected for the official section. The Festival organization will not inform about the selection process before the indicated date nor will it send emails rejecting submitted works. Given the volume of shipments, only those selected will be informed.
5. Audiovisual works can be of different genres and must not exceed 40 minutes in length.
6. Movies can only be submitted once per issue, even if submitted as a work in progress.
7. Short films whose dialogues are not in Spanish must have subtitles in this language, embedded in the file.
8. In case of selection, the festival reserves the right to use still images and excerpts from the films for promotional purposes, not exceeding 10% of the running time, or a maximum of 45 seconds.
9. Participants have no right to claim screening or rental fees for screenings of their films in competition.
10. The filmmakers of the short films selected for competition will undertake to send their works in readable formats (MPG4, MOV, H264 or similar) with HD quality for correct projection. In the case of a work that does not meet the minimum quality requirements for screening, the organization reserves the right not to include it in the official section.
In addition to the video file, two images must be sent:
Short film poster in .jpg or .png format, with a size of 420 x 623 pixels.
Frame of the short film, 1280 x 720 pixels, also in .jpg or .png format that does not contain the title (other than the initial frame), nor the superimposed subtitles.
Whenever possible, the registration platforms will be used to send the previously requested materials.
Optionally, a trailer of the short film can be sent to the email account Origenfestival@gmail.com for dissemination on social networks.

12. The Jury will be made up of a group of people from different fields, both from the audiovisual sector and from other sectors, always seeking a diverse, critical, qualified perspective that reflects the different sensitivities of the viewers. Your decision will be final.
13. The winner will be informed once the festival is over. His work will be screened again in the 2025 edition, with the winner mention [Best Audiovisual]
14. There will be a single prize of €1000 and will be subject to the corresponding legal withholdings.
15. Any person related to the organization of the festival, as well as sponsors or any collaborator involved in the selection process of the short finalists, nominees or winners, are expressly excluded from the contest.
16. The participants accept the public exhibition of their work in this contest, under the established conditions, as well as the acceptance of all of these bases, as well as their interpretation by the organization and the jury.
17. The Organizing Committee will decide on unforeseen cases that arise and that are not included in these rules.
