WEEKEND HORROR AWARDS-
The 21th TERROR AND GORE FILM FESTIVAL OF ALICANTE 2023.

OFFICIAL SECTION - WEEKEND HORROR AWARDS
"BEST SHORT FILM 2023"
The prize consists of a personalized trophy, unique to the festival, and a cash prize.

The shorts will be eligible for different nominations and awards that will be included.

OFFICIAL SECTION - HORROR WEEKEND AWARDS

1.- Those shorts of the Fantastic, Horror and Gore genre, produced as of September 2022, that have not been presented in previous editions, may participate.

2.- Likewise, each filmmaker may present as many works as he deems appropriate.

3.- The works may not exceed 30 minutes in duration.

4.- To present the works it will be done through the platform: Festhome.

5.- Section to register short films:

With the option of the BEST BLOODY CHRISTMAS SHORT FILM 2023 Award.

The prize includes an exclusive Trophy

In addition, the short films will be able to opt for the different categories that will be incorporated and that a jury will nominate according to criteria.

Participation in this section implies a registration of €2 for short film.

6.- The works will be presented with audio in Spanish. The works that are in another language will have to include subtitles in Spanish.

7.- The works can be submitted from March 6, 2023. The deadline for delivery is October 31, 2023. The notification of the selected works will be announced on November 1. The awards ceremony will be on December 25, online.

8.- The organization may use the poster, images or videos of the works, for the promotion of the festival.

9.- The presentation of the works implies the acceptance of the bases.

10.- The winners will be announced on December 25, in an online ceremony.
