Each winner will receive a certificate and a statuette of 3D FILM & MUSIC FEST 2014

1. PARTICIPATION

Participation is open to national and international companies and individuals

Entries to the festival are free

Entries to the competition are to be in Stereoscopic 3D

The author/s of the work or legal representative must complete the registration form

Each author/s may entry one or more works

There are no restrictions on the year of completion of the work

The works submitted will go through a selection process. Selected works will have to be resubmitted in professional format for projection in 3D cinema i.e. DCP

The directors/producers of the selected works will have free access to the activities of the festival and the awards ceremony



2. CATEGORIES

This year’s festival’s theme is The Golden Age of Hollywood which we share with THE SHOPPING NIGHT BARCELONA. Music video clips, concerts, tv ads, tv shows, short and full length films and documentaries related to music and the new category students.

Works submitted must be shot/generated in Stereoscopic 3D (S3D)

Submissions must be accompanied by the completed and signed Registration Form by the author, director or producer



3. SUPPORTS AND FORMATS FOR WORKS SUBMITTED FOR SELECTION

All works may be submitted in the following supports: DVD, Blu-ray 3D, USB (pen drive), external drive, etc in the following formats:

SIDE BY SIDE

Resolution: 1080p. 1920×1080 24/25 or 30 fps

Container MPEG4, H264 codec

AUDIO: MP3. WAV file included in the video clip

You can also send a link to the website where the work (in full, no trailer) resides in 3D, e.g. youtube 3D or other. The format should be Side by Side. Anaglyph cannot be accepted.



4. DELIVERY FORMAT FOR WORKS SELECTED

Applicants will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of the work submitted via e-mail, as indicated in the registration form.

Upon acceptance selected works must be submitted (if not already done so) in the following format:

3D DCP + KDM (or unencrypted)

Supports accepted for delivery 3D DCP, USB (pen drive), External Disk or FTP







5. SHIPPING OF WORKS SELECTED

Music films selected for competition must be posted prepaid. Only those works prepaid to be returned, will be posted back. The organization will not incur in any shipping costs.

6. SUBMISSION DEADLINES

Submission of works for selection: Friday October 31, 2014

3D DCP of selected works: Friday November 7, 2014



7. DELIVERY ADDRESS

The works can be dropped off in person, mailed or send via FTP to:

The works must be accompanied by the Registration Form and, at least, 2 promotional photographs (jpg format)

8. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

The works that are not in the required format and/or which are not selected for participation will not be screened at 3D FILM & MUSIC FEST BARCELONA 2014

The selected works will be publicly presented and screened in Barcelona on a date tbc November/December 2014

The author of the selected works, authorizes the organization of 3D FILM & MUSIC FEST BARCELONA 2014 to publizise and broadcast the work (or parts thereof) on the website of the Festival, and other relevant partner websites for promotional purposes only

Selected and screened works will compete for the respective awards (Section 11)



9. LEGAL

The author should hold the relevant intellectual property rights of the work submitted to participate in the Festival. Should the author not be the holder of the relevant intellectual property rights s/he should hold the express authorization of the record company or other relevant intellectual property holder to do so

The author agrees and confirms that the usage of the work by the organization of the Festival will not infringe the intellectual property rights of the author or any third party

The organization accepts no liability for any infringement of any intellectual property rights by using the work in accordance with this Terms and Conditions and the author shall indemnify the organizers against any claim and/or resulting loss or damage

Sending a Film to 3D FILM & MUSIC FEST BARCELONA 2014 means full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions



10. JURY

Consists of Film and TV professionals especialists in S-3D

The jury, in its own discretion, may declare a prize category(ies) void

The jury’s decision is final
