Short film script competition of up to 30 pages. Scripts that exceed that number of pages will not be accepted. All genders are welcome. The official selections will be limited to the 5 best finalists, whose scripts will be read at a table at the festival itself, performed by professional actors. A complete block of live readings for the top 5 scripts! 1st, 2nd and 3rd place (of the 5 live table reads) will be announced at the awards ceremony. LUSCA, Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico del Caribe (LUSCA) es presentado por Puerto Rico Film Academy, Inc. Su principal objetivo es promover el arte cinematográfico mediante la presentación de películas de alta calidad. LUSCA es un evento que se celebra en diferentes lugares de Puerto Rico y tiene una duración de quince (15) días.
El guion debe estar en uno de los géneros promovidos por el LUSCA Fantastic Film Fest (fantasía, ciencia ficción, comedia, bizarro).

LUSCA Film Fest - Concurso de Guion
Lab Cerdanya 2025 is an audiovisual creation lab organized by the Cerdanya Film Festival, inspired by the Kino Kabaret movement. It will take place in Bellver de Cerdanya from August 11 to 20, 2025, promoting collaboration among audiovisual creators aged 18 to 40, regardless of experience.
Participants will create short films in a natural setting, with access to workshops and collaborative activities. Both technical (sound, editing, camera) and artistic (directing, acting, art) profiles are welcome.
The standard fee is €400, including full board and lodging. There are 20 partially funded spots at €150. Accommodation is offered August 23–29 at Cal Caló de Cortariu, though this may relate to a separate event phase.
The lab emphasizes community, experimentation, and inclusion over competition or hierarchy.

FICC - LabPRO / OFFLab
The Cerdanya Film Festival announces the call for Pitch Links, its professional networking space for audiovisual projects in pre-production or production stages. It targets feature films, short films, series, and transmedia productions in fiction, animation, or documentary.
Projects with a gender perspective, historical themes, social outlook, or sex-affectivity, and those written and/or directed by women, will be especially valued. Dossiers must be submitted in Catalan or Spanish.
Selected projects will be presented on August 2, 2025, in Puigcerdà, during a pitching session before industry professionals. Participants will receive personalized mentorship and a €100 grant to facilitate attendance.

Women Work in Progress is a program of the Cerdanya Film Festival aimed at audiovisual projects in postproduction, led by women under 30 seeking guidance and feedback from leading professionals in the audiovisual industry, as part of the festival’s Industry Days.
The program is structured around a closed-door, private screening session, where creators present their films in progress to a panel of professionals, followed by a dedicated work session with them.
Projects can be submitted in rough cut or editing phase.
