WHY THIS AWARD PRIZE NACIONAL DE CORTOMETRAJES "JAIME OSORIO GÓMEZ"

Community of Viterbo Caldas, has not been sufficiently fair or not had taken seriously the importance that has for a municipality that one of their children has such an impact in a trade, or art, and even more so at levels that managed it to do the Mr JAIME OSORIO GÓMEZ, who was born in ViterboCaldas, on March 7, 1947 and studied law at the Autonomous University of Colombia.

In the 1970 began to conduct business and to court political documentaries, such as Chile does not surrender, hell. He was a professor at the National University of Colombia and the school of cinema and Television of San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba, in addition to representing the Colombian producers in the Board of Directors of Proimágenes in motion. The FESTICINE, VIDEO, IMAGE "EL SAMÁN"

Essentially seeks to take advantage of the boom and strengthening audiovisual that is happening our nation today, that's why one of our priorities is exalt and spread our own stories told from the film as an indispensable tool for building societies critical and creative video as a tool to develop new audiovisual country talent, and the image in all its expressions, necessary to interpret and understand the language of film.

It is vitally important the integration of different artists with the Viterbena community, since this creates a good motivation for kids lean by this type of activity, and why not think of a good seedbed of storytellers.


HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE JAIME OSORIO GOMEZ NATIONAL AWARD?

If you want to participate in the national award for short films Jaime Osorio Gomez version IV, keep in mind the following recommendations
-you must submit 2 copies of the piece in DVD format or send it via this platform (festhome.com).
-must have been made after 2015
-short film should last at least 1 minute and maximum 30 minutes.
-the theme is free, and the category should be fiction.
-you must fill out the registration form (if not submitting through Festhome) elsamanfesticinevideoimagen@gmail.com
-Agree a photocopy of the identity card of the filmmakers
-registration is free- the participants cover the costs of shipping the piece with their respective copy. SECTIONS OUT OF COMPETITION. (no prizes).
