Il X International Shorty Week 2023 Short Film Festival si svolgerà all'inizio di settembre nel Castello di Santa Catalina, a Cadice. Lì, il pubblico potrà assistere alla proiezione dei cortometraggi delle diverse sezioni competitive e alla cerimonia di premiazione.

The Beeston Oscar, or B’Oscar, is awarded to the best film in the following categories - Drama, Horror, Comedy, Documentary and Animation.
This year a new local competition has been created called Three Counties category, that is split into two sections: Long (up to 15 minutes); and Short (up to 5 minutes). Filmmakers from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire ONLY with films in any genre can submit. FICAMS, Antarctica’s International Film Festival about Environment and Sustainability is a competitive festival that gives and teaches community members, through films, diverse views related to our habitat and culture. General themes of the audio-visual pieces are base on the environment, nature, sustainability, climate change, recycling, and renewable energy sources.

Lors des premières éditions, le Film Noir Festival s’était donné comme objectif d’éclairer le public sur le courant cinématographique qu’est le Film Noir.
Durant 4 jours, ce sont plus de 30 films de jeunes réalisateurs, au travers de la compétition internationale de courts métrages soumise au regard du jury des professionnels, mais aussi de cinéastes plus confirmés par le biais de la rétrospective généraliste de longs métrages et des avant-premières nationales, qui ont été présentés à un large public éclectique et de tout âge.
En octobre 2013, le Film Noir Festival s’est associé à la Film Noir Foundation de San Francisco créée et présidée par Eddie Muller, spécialiste mondial du Film Noir et fondateur du festival Noir City à San Francisco, à qui elle a décerné son premier Prix d'honneur en décembre 2013.
Pour sa quatrième édition, qui se tiendra du 24 au 27 novembre 2016 au cinéma "Le Vincennes" (94), le Film Noir Festival poursuivra son éclairage sur le Film Noir en proposant de nouveau une programmation de films inédits ou rares au travers de la rétrospective de 10 longs métrages, des avant-premières en ouverture et en clôture du Festival, des hommages à des réalisateurs, des acteurs ou des compositeurs emblématiques du Film Noir mais également au travers de la compétition internationale de courts métrages.
Chulpicine ha iniziato a lavorare nel 2002 con il primo Itinerant Children & Youth Film Festival a Quito. La calorosa accoglienza ricevuta dal progetto ha permesso al festival di diventare un evento annuale nei mesi da luglio a settembre, offrendo un evento educativo e divertente a costo zero, in settori con poche attività culturali.
Grazie alla reazione positiva, Chulpicine è diventata una fondazione culturale ed educativa senza scopo di lucro nel giugno 2004. Dopo più di 10 anni di esperienza, Chulpicine ha raggiunto una proposta stabile e una metodologia di lavoro che si è diffusa a livello nazionale. Il Festival ha promosso la creazione di personale tecnico, manager culturali che lavorano in diverse comunità e un folto gruppo di follower.
Chulpicine ha progettato una serie di attività e workshop per istituzioni, organizzazioni comunitarie o operatori di sensibilizzazione per educare e formare in diverse aree legate al cinema, all'audiovisivo, alla comunicazione e a Internet utilizzate come strumenti di intervento sociale. Queste attività e workshop sono stati l'inizio di una formazione di comunità di apprendimento sfruttando le capacità dei giovani, nonché la creazione di una rete attiva e impegnata di facilitatori sociali attraverso il cinema e il lavoro audiovisivo.
La Fondazione svolge le seguenti linee di programma: formazione; intervento; appropriazione di spazi pubblici; diffusione e produzione. Questa linea di lavoro è un'alternativa per promuovere le reti comunitarie per sviluppare capacità di comunicazione, analisi e riflessione nei vari attori della comunità, rafforzando così le sue capacità organizzative e di sviluppo personale.
La fondazione ha un team multidisciplinare che attualmente lavora ai progetti. Queste persone sono responsabili di diverse aree: c'è uno psicologo, un produttore, un programmatore, un comunicatore e un contabile.
Inoltre, ogni anno vengono assunte circa 12 persone per assistere nell'implementazione delle attività. Questo gruppo è composto da persone che hanno lavorato in passato al festival e da alcuni nuovi giovani che desiderano entrare a far parte del gruppo. Inoltre, ogni anno abbiamo il supporto di volontari di diverse organizzazioni.

Temple University’s NextFrame, a student run, online film competition, celebrates the work of students from many versatile backgrounds. Dedicated to the artistic vision of young filmmakers everywhere and the use of emerging technology, NextFrame provides an easy to access festival platform for the work of all undergraduate and graduate filmmakers.
For the past 20 years, NextFrame has been internationally recognized as one of the world’s premiere touring festivals for showcasing student work. NextFrame celebrates the 20th anniversary, and to adapt to changing modes of distribution, the project has grown from a touring festival to an exciting and innovative online film competition. NextFrame curates student work into a professional streaming platform.
NextFrame Student Film Festival accepts cinematography projects, thesis projects, and all other student work made by undergraduate and graduate filmmakers who have held a significant production role (Director, Producer, Screenwriter, Cinematographer) on their project.

Da CINESPACIO vogliamo focalizzare questa edizione del festival su quelle opere che si sono concentrate sulle condizioni migratorie e il loro rapporto con le forme audiovisive di produzione. In un mondo in cui i confini sono costantemente costruiti e si disegnano linee immaginarie per violare le identità - oltre che crearle -, è necessario che il settore audiovisivo rifletta sul suo ruolo nelle modalità di attuazione e nei temi rappresentati.
Proponiamo di interpretare il confine come uno spazio in cui nascono e entrano in conflitto identità transnazionali; uno spazio in cui si generano nuove reti e comunità emotive e sono in movimento perpetuo; uno spazio in cui affrontano le sfide del riconoscimento individuale e dell'appartenenza alla comunità. Se il confine è ciò che delimita chi siamo, attraversare le frontiere comporta, allora, la sfida di essere qualcun altro e di saper essere qualcun altro attraverso il riavvicinamento e il contatto, tenendo presente che il contenuto ai confini, toccato dall'esterno, non sarà più lo stesso.
