Join one of the most popular film festivals in Europe +500 five stars reviews, thousands of submissions from 125+ countries in the world.

$105.000 WORTH OF PRIZES IN SERVICES EVERY YEAR

There are too many festivals and it is impossible to recognize which could be valuable for you. Many are very costly and give no chance to get selected without having contacts. We created Rome Independent Prisma Awards, a monthly award ceremony with live and online screenings that doesn't ask you for a foolish fee, where your film can participate with other independent movies and with world-class talents in an equal competition, within reach of everyone all around the world. Nobody else offers so much for such a small fee.

WE LOOK FOR MEANING, WE LOOK FOR UNITY, WE LOOK FOR BALANCE

Rome Independent Prisma Awards was founded by Stefano Perletta in 2018. Hosted by Cinema Azzurro Scipioni, in its first year it saw Silvano Agosti as the president of the jury, a legendary italian director that has worked alongside the greatest italian professionals like Storaro, Morricone, Piovani and many others. Over the course of its second year it moved to Cinema dei Piccoli, one of the oldest movie theaters of Rome in the heart of Villa Borghese park since 1934.

Our winning films have gone all the way to A-tier festivals like “May Day”, 1st annual awards winner and Oscar-shortlisted film, “Alien“ by Yeon Je-Wang and “Inanimate” by Lucia Bulgheroni that got into Cannes Cinefondation, “Pierdete entre los muertos” by Ruben Gutierrez that was showcased into the feature films at Rotterdam Film Festival and many others.

We just launched our third yearly cycle, with a total renewal and a new artistic direction curated by Marcello Di Trocchio. Here you can find some of our fresh news: www.romeprismafilmawards.com/whatsnew

Film Maudit 2.0, in its 2nd year, is a festival in Los Angeles of outré films. The fest is inspired by legendary artist Jean Cocteau’s festival, Le Film Maudit, which celebrated a group of films that were criminally overlooked and neglected at the time. Film Maudit 2.0 will take place in January 2021.
-
The term film maudit literally means “cursed films,” and this showcase of counter-cinema will blend together narrative, documentary and experimental films that in their style and/or subject matter, are deliberately bold, extreme, confrontational, troubling, shocking and/or unusual.
-
We are looking for adventuresome works that deal with socio-political issues, taboo subjects, and challenge artistic assumptions and sexual mores.
-
The festival is co-presented by and takes place at Southern California's boldest center for new performance and media arts, Highways Performance Space & Gallery in Santa Monica, CA. In its 31st year, Highways continues to be an important alternative cultural center in Los Angeles that encourages radical artists from diverse communities to develop and present innovative new works. Described by the Los Angeles Times as “a hub of experimental theater, dance, solo drama and other multimedia performance,” Highways promotes the development of contemporary socially involved artists and art forms.

FesticineKids 23 is an international children's and youth film festival in Cartagena de Indias, it is a film contest that orients its efforts towards strengthening the production and distribution of Colombian, Latin American and world cinema for children and young people.

In 2021, FesticineKids reaches its 23rd edition virtually, but with the same spirit of highlighting and celebrating cinema for girls, boys and young people. The phrase has been chosen as the slogan: THE CHANGE IS IN YOU. From this concept it is intended to invite children and young people to be aware of the responsibility they have to be agents of change in their environments. Children and young people are the future that should encourage the care of our planet earth, the human beings that surround them, animals and plants, as well as the places they visit. That is why in the midst of this changing era that we are living, it is important to recognize the leading role that the new generations have to change and improve.

In the construction of the profile of the FesticineKids 23, the screen is problematized as a point of confluence of girls, boys and adolescents. By postulating cinema as that scenario in which feelings, emotions and beliefs are expressed, it is intended that girls, boys and adolescents, understanding what the cinema evokes them, what they extract from it and its meanings, wonder about the place that cinema has in their lives, in their environment, in parallel to the place they want and dream of.

It is also an opportunity for adults, parents, teachers, cultural and cinematographic authorities, to think about the need to strengthen their capacities to be trainers in tension and interaction with the audiovisual media, especially the cinema.

The reason for this letter is to invite you to be part of the fifth version of our AricaDoc. The call for entries will be open until May 9st, and the festival will be held between August 27th and September 12th of this year.

We are looking for works that represent the vibrant formal and thematic diversity of documentary cinema, feeding the reflection on the forces faced in the contemporary world
and the accelerated metamorphosis that characterize our societies.

We are aware of the obstacles faced in their production and distribution by those films that go beyond industrial mandates and official narratives. AricaDoc wants to be a port for these works, offering a refuge where non-fiction cinema can manifest itself in freedom.

Faced with the intrinsic difficulties of the times, we invite you to sail together. We believe that in order to navigate the present, the best way to do so is collectively. Our commitment is to offer a space for you, your films and the communities of audiences, to meet again around filmmaking.

AricaDoc does not pursue profit, guaranteeing free access to the films for all audiences. For obvious reasons, the festival will be carried out through a virtual platform, evaluating when the time comes the realization of on-site screenings to ensure the welfare of all participants.

Thank you in advance for your participation.

After carrying out the 2021 edition in hybrid format through Filmin, with almost 24,000 viewings and in audiences on the Island as the restrictions caused by Covid-19 have allowed it, this edition being extended by 2 months, the International Independent Film Festival de Ibiza continues in its sixth edition with its two parallel objectives of bringing the most courageous and cryptic auteur cinema to our island, and at the same time, as a markedly territorial festival, quality independent cinema that will reach commercial theaters in the peninsula, but never to Ibiza.
We believe in committed auteur films, with necessary points of view, that can move in depth and form up to the margins of the norms of commercial cinema, with total creative freedom.
Understanding the cinema as an essential tool for
social awareness, we highlight and organize sections for the promotion of gender equality, migration problems or environmental sensitivity, with specific programs for Institutes on the Island.

Our commitment to the film industry is reflected in our professional sections. The organization of 5 Professional Conferences so far, a contest for scripts of short films with a cash prize and pitchings for feature film projects are the axis of our current activities, complemented by workshops and master classes adapted to the level and need of audiovisual professionals in Ibiza.

Our main official sections try to reflect both socio-cultural situations and problems as an open window to the world, in the case of "Panorama", such as emphasizing experiences in characters that can be extrapolated to any person "Humans in focus".

The short film is not complementary, dissected into 4 official sections and programmed together with feature films in official and parallel sections such as “Fem-Cine” or “Be-Blue Think Green” is treated as a genre in itself.

Filmmakers of all countries, Unite!
--------------------------------------------------
NEFILTRAVANAE KINO is a film festival that is held by the Short Movie Club, the platform for cinematic projects.

NEFILTRAVANAE KINO is an exploration of aestheticization and commodification in art. The aim of the festival is to expose the complexity, manysidedness, and variety of filmmaking.
The festival is placed in Belarus country with former bolshevism traditions.

We involve theater, artists to interpret symbols and history. We work with the audience's reaction and participants' as well.

Before you read the festival philosophy and history, let know worth reasons to be part of NEFILTRAVANAE KINO:

CONSIDERATION AND SHOWING

THE AUDIENCE, CROWDFUNDING

the Short Movie Club helps with crowdfunding campaigns of our selected participants.

TRAVEL AND EXPLORE, FILM INDUSTRY PARTNERS
Discover Belarus. Three of our participants have made new films in Belarus after the festival. We know how to help if you decide to shoot. One of the leading studios in Eastern Europe «BELARUSFILM» opens gates.

REVIEW, COMMENTS, FEEDBACK
An in-depth review of the best films will be published with IMDb rating. We compile comments of viewers, cinephiles and experts. We establish connections between the filmmaker and the audience.

PARTY — AFTERPARTY
Yes, a party every day. It is the main reason…
--------------------------------------------------------
The concept of the NEFILTRAVANAE KINO (Unfiltered Cinema):
ALIENATION PROBLEM
We live in a world of malls and cinema multiplexes. We see that indie cinema and non-commodity art go to the periphery of public attention. Primitive attractions replace the cinematography. The escape audience is alienated behind the big screen. So modern mainstream cinema is part of a manipulating tool that leads to the society of alienation. Thus the tendency is that indie cinema becomes more unreadable for the wide audience. We should understand the context of the filmmaker to understand the independent cinema. That is why the NEFILTRAVANAE KINO concept implies the physical presence of filmmakers.

FILM SELECTION PROBLEM
Filmmakers shoot millions of movies. And thousands of short film festivals organize screenings all over the world every year. On average, several thousand films are submitted to a film festival. So various good films can be neglected for whatever reason. Often selecting probability is like winning a lottery. As a result, filmmakers are left with no feedback. It is a paradox that no one can hear you in the age of the Internet! The mainstream culture prefers attractions and casual viewing.

Also, this idea is based on the film selection problem. Perhaps it’s no surprise one person, i.e. programme director at best, or even students of film schools make a preliminary decision to select a movie. Сoncordance of judges or previewers is more seldom thing than the difference of background, tastes. So selection or judging can be one-sided or perfunctory. It is not bad as the programme director has a good taste and aesthetic sensitivity, of course. But we’ve discovered another conception of “unfiltered cinema”. We matched it against “the best of the best” way. This way aids to perceive cinematic idiom without the dictate of art-curators.

CELEBRATION OF INDIE CINEMA
So the Unfiltered Cinema Film Festival tries to avoid “the best of the best” way but it does not ignore it completely, sure. The festival selects fiction, animation, documentary, experimental and virtual reality sections. A jury awards the best film in every section. The festival holds the screenings at cinema theatres, the National Centre for Contemporary Arts, and art-spaces.

Our aim is to gather people in art, to have a dialogue to be happy with smart communication. Cinema is art but not sport. The key point of our project is to establish communication between the filmmaker and the audience.

Please, read about the festival history through the link to the festival's website. http://shortmovie.club/history/

The project aims to provide building of Cinema-van mobile library amphibia https://www.behance.net/gallery/33392769/Cinema-van-Mobile-library-Amphibia

During this year we would like to offer two, new competition sections. Award for
