Festival Start: 18 September 2026      Festival Ende: 18 Oktober 2026

Revoluções Curtas returns to Filmin for a third edition. At Filmin, we believe in a free cinema, far from the noise in which we live. And therefore, we think that the best way to demonstrate this is by opening the call to everyone who wants to share their story with us. Cinema as a tool for social change, for resistance and as a way to better understand the world in which we live.

Geldpreise: 1,000€

Two prizes will be awarded:

- The Jury Prize, which will be awarded by a jury made up of filmmakers and professionals from the Portuguese film industry. The winner will receive a cash prize of 1,000 €.

- Honorable Mention: The jury will award an Honorable Mention, the prize of which consists of the granting of rights for the broadcast of the short film on Filmin, through a Revenue Share agreement.

- The Audience Award, which will reward the short film with the best score from Filmin users, with 750 €.

- Second Audience Award: The second best-ranked short film will win the rights to distribute the short film on Filmin, through a Revenue Share agreement.

The event encourages Portuguese filmmakers to submit their short films, which will be available for viewing on the platform between September 18 to October 18, 2026.

Filmmakers can submit their films between June 8 and August 10 via the Festhome platform. In this competition, national short films (or mostly Portuguese co-productions) can be submitted if the short film is up to 30 minutes long (including end credits).
