The Valencia International Artificial Intelligence Film Festival (FESTIAV) is a pioneering cultural event dedicated exclusively to audiovisual works generated using artificial intelligence, understood as a tool at the service of creativity and always respecting the intellectual property and authorship of the different sectors. From the Valencian Community, the festival was born with a global vocation: to become an international reference point in the convergence between technology, creativity and new digital narratives. Its mission is to promote artistic innovation, promote critical analysis of the role of AI in the visual arts and position Valencia as a creative hub connected to the main audiovisual experimentation centers in the world.
In its 1st edition, FESTIAV will screen 12 short films—fiction, comedy and horror generated with AI—along with a professional program consisting of a round table with international experts, a technical talk on creative processes with AI and a networking session that will bring together creators, producers and agents from the sector, both local and from other countries. A professional and independent jury will be in charge of evaluating the works and awarding cash prizes to the most outstanding proposals.
FESTIAV aspires to consolidate itself as a platform with global reach, where filmmakers, technologists, digital artists, researchers and students from different parts of the world can connect, share knowledge and discover the possibilities of cinema generated through artificial intelligence. From Valencia to the world, the festival promotes local talent and integrates it into a growing international scene.
We look forward to seeing you in Valencia!
