Festival start: 10 April 2026      Festival end: 25 September 2026

"Parapacine" is an International Comedy Shorts and Film Festival inside "Parapariures" where both the audience and the jury will choose their favourite shorts and films.

The Festival will take place in Sabadell (Barcelona) on 10th, 17th and 24th of April 2026 and the final will be the 25th September 2026.

The following awards will be given:

SHORT FILMS:

- The jury of the Festival will give the diplomas to the "Most Original Screenplay", "Most hilarious Cast", "Wittiest Director" and "Funniest Short Film" It will also select the 21 short films that could be awarded to the same diplomas but by the audience.

- Any of the short films will obtain more than one diploma.

- On 10th, 17th and 24th of April 2026 the selected short films for the Audience Awards will be exhibited (7 short films every day).

- On May 1rst, the awards from the Audience will be announced on our Social Media (Instagram - @parapacine).

- On September 25th, the shorts awarded by the Jury will be exhibited.


FILMS:

- For the first time the Festival will select and project 3 feature comedy films inside de Festival between Septembre or October. Dates and Places to be determined.

- The genre MUST be comedy.

- The length of the short films must be 15 minutes maximum, including the credits.

- The deadline is 1st March 2026 at 23:59. (UTC/GMT +1)

- All the films must be in Catalan or Spanish or any other language if it has subtitles in any of these two languages.

- The selected films for the audience and the winners of the jury will be announced during the 27th of March 2026.

- The selection will be done by the "Parapariures" organization and it's unappealable. In case of the Festival being cancelled the authors would be contacted for the next edition.

- The films must have the necessary guarantees for a good projection.

- The candidates authorize the organization to use any material facilitated by the candidates in order to promote the Festival.

- The participation implies the acceptance of the conditions and selection of the organization.

- The candidates will be responsible for any obligation generated by copyright.

- The organization keeps the right of modifying these conditions if needed.

- The films selected for both the audience and jury awards will be screened during the festival and may be screened again in future editions.
