The Academy of Motion Picture Arts of Spain, includes it as one of the key festivals for the selection of short films that will compete in the Goya Awards. Throughout the last editions the festival has been making important decisions that commit it to the cinema of our country. In his thirteenth edition he published his manifesto where he exhibited his philosophy and commitment to film. He made the decision to pay for selection to the selected short films thus eliminating economic competition in order to encourage artistic creation and production. Vichy International Film Festival is proud to present the second edition of “Un Brin de Court,” an exciting very short film festival (between 1 and 3 minutes) that will take place from November 15 to 22, 2026, in Vichy and throughout the Allier department.

Immerse yourself in the world of cinema and creativity through unique screenings, fascinating discussions, and unforgettable experiences featuring fiction films (and only fictional, using live-action footage) from around the world.

Organized by the Club Audiovisuel de Vichy, “Un Brin de Court” aims to expand its audience and reach a new level. It now positions itself as a celebration of international francophone short films.

The “Uhvati film” (Seize the Film) Festival takes place in Novi Sad (Serbia), Rijeka (Croatia) and Kotor (Montenegro).

Through a thematically and artistically distinctive film selection, the festival aims to promote the potential of persons with disabilities, raise public awareness about the challenges they face (with special attention to multiply marginalized groups), and contribute to the advancement of disability rights.

Films selected for the Novi Sad program will enter consideration for screenings in Rijeka and Kotor, as well as for post-production programs (in all countries).

The festival organizers (KAO Parnas – Serbia, Spirit Association – Croatia, NGO Art 365 – Montenegro) will personally contact the authors of the selected films.
