OFFICIAL SECTION, of a competitive nature. (Up to 70 works)

Iberoamerican Digital Cinema: Films made by Iberoamerican producers and / or directors based in Brazil for more than 02 years, completed between 2020 and 2021, may participate in the following categories:

a) Iberoamerican Short - lasting up to 15 min, in the genres: documentary, fiction and animation; up to 20 selected films;

b) Short Sergipano - lasting up to 15 min, in the genres: documentary, fiction and animation; produced by a Sergipe director, or based in Sergipe; up to 10 selected films;

c) Pocket video - lasting up to 4 min; produced on cell phones or digital cameras, in the genres: documentary, fiction and animation; up to 10 selected works;

d) Video clip - lasting up to 4 min; up to 10 selected works;

e) Trailer - lasting up to 4 min; up to 05 selected works;

Webseries - lasting up to 10 min; up to 05 selected works.

Feature film - + 70 min, in Digital Format, concluded between 2020 and 2021; up to 5 selected films.

AWARDS

The contest prizes will be awarded by 3 official judges. One for feature films and two for short films. Each Jury will be composed of 03 (three) members and will establish the criteria for working together with the board of CURTA-SE 21; The works will be selected by a curator.

Short Film Judges may award the SEE OR NOT SEE Trophy to the following categories:
Best Short Film, Best Direction, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Photography, Best Music Score, Best Screenplay, Best Animation, Best Fiction, Best Documentary and Best Trailer.
Sergipano Short Judges may award the SEE OR NOT SEE Trophy to the following categories:
Best Sergipano, Best Direction, Best Music Score, Best Screenplay and Best Photography.

Feature Film Judges may award the SEE OR NOT SEE Trophy in the following categories:
Best Feature Film, Best Direction, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Music Score, Best Screenplay, Best Photography and Best Trailer.

The judges may separately grant a special award and an honorable mention, whenever it is in common agreement with the Festival Direction, and may also refrain from granting any award or trophy, when deemed necessary.

In the event that any private company or governmental institution wishes to institute a special, financial or trophy award, it may do so according to its own criteria, with the prior consent of the Board of CURTA-SE 21. The legal representatives of the selected audiovisual works will be communicated with anticipation of any eventual inclusion of an award that implies the granting of any exhibition or related rights.

There may also be a grant of the SEE OR NOT SEE Trophy to the following categories, through the vote of the popular Jury:
Best Iberoamerican Digital Cinema Short Film, Best Video Clip, Best Pocket Video, Best Feature Film, Best Web Series and Best Sergipano Short Film.
