The festival opens a dedicated space for animated short films that stand out for their artistic, technical, and narrative approach. We are looking for innovative works that use animation — in any form or technique — as an expressive medium to tell powerful, sensitive, provocative, or poetic stories.
We accept animations in 2D, 3D, stop motion, rotoscoping, experimental animation, and other techniques, as long as the final piece qualifies as a short film.
This category is open to both emerging creators and industry professionals who wish to showcase the creative potential of contemporary independent animation.
Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
