Kindly review and agree to the following Rules & Terms before submitting your project to the Northstar Filmfare International Film Festival (NFIFF). By submitting, you indicate your acceptance of these terms.

Multiple Submissions: Feel free to submit more than one entry, ensuring that each entry has its own online submission and entry fee.

Category Selection: Please carefully select the appropriate category during submission to avoid disqualification.

Non-Refundable Fee: The submission fee is non-refundable.

Subtitle Requirement: Films in languages other than English must include clear and legible English subtitles for potential screening during the Annual Public Event in Kolkata.

Selection Procedure:

Underage Filmmakers: If you are under 18 years old, a legal guardian must submit your project on your behalf.

Final Decisions: Decisions made by the selection committees and juries are deemed final.

Disqualification Authority: The Jury reserves the right to disqualify a project from the competition at any stage.

Usage and Recognition:

Selection Not Guaranteed: Submission does not guarantee selection; however, all official selections, nominees, and winners will be permanently listed on our website. Winning projects will receive a trophy, certificate, and an exclusive interview published in a notable media outlet.

Promotional Usage: NFIFF may use images, sounds, and excerpts from the films for promotional purposes across various media platforms, including the NFIFF website. Accepted films may also be screened at the 2024 NFIFF.

Official Selection Status: Being an Official Selection does not guarantee screening at the festival but permits the use of the festival logo for promotional purposes, indicating approval by our panel.

Unacceptable Content:

NFIFF does not accept:

Projects with Political Involvement or those promoting a political agenda
Amateur Videos
Pornography
Extremist or Propaganda Content from religious or political organizations

Films with Poor Production Standards, such as inadequate sound, lack of subtitles for non-English films, or low resolution.
