Festival start: 12 April 2024      Festival end: 04 October 2024

"parapacurts" is an International Comedy Short Film Festival inside "parapariures" where both the audience and the jury will choose their favourite short films.

The Festival will take place in Sabadell (Barcelona) on 12th, 19th and 26th of April 2024.

The awards will be announced at a gala 4th October 2024.

Cash Prizes: 200€

The following awards will be given:

- The jury of "parapacurts" will reward with a diploma for the categories of "Best Short Film", "Best Direction", "Best Script" and "Best Cast". The jury award to "Best Short Film of parapacurts 2024" will also be rewarded with 200 €*

- The audience of "parapacurts" will reward with a diploma for the categories of "Best Short Film", "Best Cast", "Best Script" and "Best Director".

- The short film winner of the jury award to "Best Short Film of parapacurts 2024" will be shown in the final gala of the next edition.

*The awards will be given via bank transfer. In the case of applied commissions this will be charged to the winner.

- The genre MUST be comedy.

- The length of the short film must be 17 minutes maximum, including the credits.

- The deadline is 15th March 2024 at 23:59. (UTC/GMT +1)

- The short film can be in Catalan or Spanish or any other language if it has subtitles in any of these two languages.

- The selected short films and the final programme will be announced during the 29th of March 2024.

- The selection will be done by the "parapariures" organization and it's unappealable.

- In case of the Festival being cancelled the authors would be contacted for the next edition.

- The short films must have the necessary guarantees for a good projection.

- The candidates authorize the organization to use any material facilitated by the candidates in order to promote the Festival.

- The participation implies the acceptance of the conditions and selection of the organization.

- The candidates will be responsible for any obligation generated by copyright.

- The organization keeps the right of modifying these conditions if needed.
