Cinema awards in which online media related to the seventh art choose the best of the year in independent Spanish cinema.

A team of many industry professionals will make up the Selection Committee for the Blogos de Oro 2026, which will evaluate and assess the short films submitted.

The 36 best-rated shorts will be announced as candidates in early December 2024 on our awards' social media.

Among the best-rated shorts, the five that become the final nominees will be decided unanimously.

The rest of our online media that are members of the jury will see the five nominated shorts and vote for the final winner.

On February 14, 2026, the virtual awards ceremony will be held on the official social media of the Blogos de Oro 2025 Independent Spanish Film Awards, where we will announce the winner for Best Short Film by presenting them with our physical award either in person or by courier.
