YOKC. Fauna Fílmica" is not just a festival, but a resilient proclamation of Andalusian cinematic art that dares to swim against the mainstream current. Held in the iconic “Tramallol” space in Seville, this event becomes a sanctuary for creators who, with boldness and passion, depict critical, experimental, and profoundly authentic visions in their short films. In times where alternative voices are crucial, "Fauna Fílmica" emerges as the ideal space for auteur cinema and narrative experimentation to be not only seen but celebrated and valued in their true dimension.

1. FESTIVAL OBJECTIVE:

“YOKC. Fauna Fílmica.” primarily aims to promote, appreciate, and disseminate Andalusian alternative cinema. It offers a projection and meeting space for film creators of all genders working outside the conventional commercial circuit.

2. ORGANIZATIONAL VENUE:

The festival will be organized at the “Tramallol” venue, a landmark for alternative culture and art in Seville.

3. PARTICIPATION:

3.1. The call is open to all Andalusian filmmakers, both professionals and amateurs, wishing to share their personal vision of cinema.

3.2. Submitted short films must be original and must not have been shown in previous editions of the festival.

4. SHORT FILM CHARACTERISTICS:

4.1. Maximum duration: 20 minutes, including credits.

4.2. The theme is open, but works reflecting a critical, experimental, and resilient vision of cinema and/or society will be particularly valued.

4.3. Short films in any language are accepted, but those not in Spanish must include Spanish subtitles.

5. REGISTRATION PROCESS:

5.1. All registrations will be made exclusively through the “Festhome” platform.

5.2. Participants must create a profile on the said platform, upload their short film, and complete the required information.

5.3. The registration deadline is November 6, 2023. After this date, no further registrations will be accepted.

6. SELECTION:

6.1. A selection committee, consisting of cinema professionals and enthusiasts, will review all registered short films and choose those to be screened during the festival.

7. RIGHTS AND AUTHORIZATIONS:

7.1. By registering for the festival, participants guarantee they hold all necessary rights for the presentation and screening of their short film.

7.2. Participants authorize “YOKC. Fauna Fílmica.” to use excerpts from the selected short films for festival promotion.

8. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS:

8.1. Participation in the festival implies full acceptance of these rules.

8.2. Any situation not covered in these rules will be resolved by the festival organization.
