The Fantarifa festival was born in 2018 with the 0 edition of the International Fantastic Film Festival of Sitges. This year 2019 follows its wake and in its first edition to be held from October 30 to November 2, aims to achieve new objectives and be a national and international benchmark in the field of film events, in addition to promoting the dissemination and promotion of fantastic cinema in a multicultural city with an open door to culture.

Fantarifa will pay tribute to different personalities of the film industry and will organize numerous cycles, exhibitions and parallel activities for the industry and for the general public. It will be a dynamic festival, with participatory and innovative ideas and aims to be always observing the reality of an artistic industry in constant growth, to be able to contribute our small grain of sand to the art of celluloid.
