The SAFICXS International Lesbian Film Festival showcases short films created by members of the lesbian, transvestite, transgender and non-binary community on Argentinian screens.
By watching films from around the world, we can see, hear, reflect on and experience how love is expressed and how female characters relate sexually and emotionally.

We present the Memoriale Feliciotto short film festival.
The competing works will be judged through this platform, and the awards ceremony and screening of the shorts will be held in Giardini Naxos, in Piazzetta dei Limoni, on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
The Festival was founded with the aim of highlighting new talent, promoting social cinema, and celebrating the connection with Sicily. The Festival is dedicated to the memory of Carmelo Feliciotto, a lover of cinema and culture.
From a young age, Carmelo Feliciotto demonstrated a particular sensitivity to social and political issues. An activist in the ranks of the Young Communists of Giardini Naxos, he distinguished himself for his commitment to promoting the values of justice and social equality, which characterized the 1970s. Music and arthouse cinema have been his great passions. Professionally, he has conceived and implemented important music and video projects about Sicily, with particular reference to cultural and popular traditions. In the late 1990s, Carmelo was appointed councilor for sport, tourism, and entertainment in Giardini Naxos, leaving an indelible mark on his dedication, competence, integrity, and great ability.
The Peripheral Visions Festival is a pioneering and unique project in Brazil that expands the spectrum of perspectives on Brazilian peripheral spaces through film screenings and a project development laboratory. The 19th edition will be held in 2026, from March 3rd to 8th, 2026.
The theme and concept of the Peripheral Visions Festival are reflected in its very name. Each year, the Visões program seeks to reflect the aesthetic power and diversity present in Brazilian peripheral areas through the eyes of filmmakers who experience the daily lives of these geographic, social, and existential territories. These qualities are fostered both in the curation of the film screenings and in parallel activities, most notably the Visões Lab, an audiovisual project development laboratory.
- Imaginary Frontiers (competitive): films up to 25 minutes long produced by independent filmmakers from across Brazil.
- Cinema da Gema (competitive): films up to 25 minutes long produced in the State of Rio de Janeiro.
- Panorâmica (competitive): films lasting at least 40 minutes (medium-length and feature-length films).
- Visorama (competitive): films up to 15 minutes long produced as part of audiovisual training projects for elementary, secondary, and/or third-sector education.

“Cine Chicu Short Film Festival”, organized annually by the “Instituto de Cultura y Turismo de Tenjo - IMCTT”, is an event dedicated to the exhibition of short audiovisual films that allows the public to approach and enjoy the creativity and diversity of cinematographic language, while providing scenarios for meeting, reflection and training around the audiovisual.
The fifth edition of the festival will take place between December 6 to 11, 2024 in an itinerant manner in Tenjo - Cundinamarca under the slogan “A crossing for the protection of life”, focusing - without being exclusive- on works related to the environment and ecology, which promote, in a creative way, the respect and care of ecosystems.
Audiovisual works will be received about free themes and genres between 3 and 30 minutes long, produced from 2022 onwards that have not been awarded in Cundinamarca, Colombia.

The PuntodiVistaFilmFestival 2025 is an International Prize Competition for unpublished (or published, but in any case free from transfer of copyright) shorts produced from 2023 onwards, in any language ( provided that, for those not in Italian, there are subtitles in Italian, unless they are music videos).
The Festival has two sections:
Short films with a maximum duration of 20'
Social Cortospot with a maximum duration of 3'.
Italian subtitles are mandatory.
Rural FilmFest, member of Green Film Network (GFN) and Pantalla Federation, is an international itinerant film festival, which offers a current overview of international documentary film, fiction and animation in a short, medium and long format related to the rural world, ecology, sustainability and natural and cultural resources. Rural FilmFest is not a common film festival, it is a unique and unrepeatable event. It is a summer camp, with excursions, multi-adventure, geocaching awards ceremony (Yes, you read that right. 40TH MOSTRA DE VALÈNCIA-CINEMA DEL MEDITERRANI FILM FESTIVAL
PRESENTATION
Mostra de València-Cinema del Mediterrani is an international film festival promoted by the Valencia City Council (Ajuntament de València) in Spain. It aims to show and promote cinema from the Mediterranean basin as a geographical and cultural point of reference. It is accredited by FIAPF as Specialised festival.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this call for entries is to open up registration for films intended to compete in the Official Section and the La Cabina Section of the 40th Mostra de València–Cinema del Mediterrani, which will take place from 23rd October to 2nd November 2025 in the city of València. The candidates must meet the requirements and rules stipulated in this call for entries.

MTPIFF – Montpellier Independent Film Festival proudly launches its very first edition!
MTPIFF is an international hybrid film festival based in Montpellier, France.
Each month, we celebrate independent fiction cinema (short and feature films) by selecting winners in regional, national, and international categories.
Monthly winners receive official laurels, certificates digital .
Winning films each month will be announced and published on the festival’s official social media channels (Facebook & Instagram) as well as on the MTPIFF website.
At the end of the season (June 2026), all films selected each month will compete to be included in the final selection. The finalist films will be screened at an in-person event in Montpellier, featuring a special screening at Cinéma in July 2026, followed by an awards ceremony.
Film industry professionals will attend the event, which will include film screenings, meet-and-greets, networking opportunities, masterclasses, and Q&A sessions with the selected filmmakers.
MTPIFF’s goal is to give year-round visibility to independent, bold, and creative voices in cinema, culminating in a physical event to honor the best films of the season.
To be eligible for the cinema screening in Montpellier (annual competition for Best Short and Feature Film), films not originally in French must be subtitled in French.
For monthly selections, films must be either in English or have at least English subtitles.
The submission date determines eligibility. For example, a film submitted on September 15, 2025, will be considered for the October 2025 selection.
The International Short Film Festival Psarokokalo is an annual festival held in Greece since 2007. The festival aims to provide a showcase for the work of new filmmakers from around the world and to promote the diversity and richness of the short film. The festival is part of a project aiming to research, promote and develop the art of filmmaking. Psarokokalo International Short Film Festival is run by Kyklos a nonprofit organization based in Athens whose purpose is to promote actions relating to cinema and public awareness of environmental issues. ‘Kyklos’ in Greek means cycle and the vision of the cycle is the respect for fundamental rights including freedom equal opportunities and cultural diversity
The Psaroloco is a program of cinema screenings specially formed for children and teenagers, with selected films and group workshops, in which children create entirely their own short films (fiction, documentary, stop motion, etc.).Our aim is to encourage meaningful thought provoking films for children and showcase amazing works of Filmmakers from around the world.
Psaroloco's aim is to familiarize the novice audience with the basic terms of the cinematic experience and to promote media literacy. The project promotes the enhancement of the critical thinking of children and the ability to deconstruct images. It prioritizes vulnerable groups of children and adolescents.

The Psaroloco Media Literacy Project Ι Labs (Since 2010) promotes media literacy with skills of creative access and critical content analysis and integrates teachers as the primary actors of this new audiovisual literacy through cinema.
It gives priority to vulnerable groups of children and adolescents. He has collaborated with SOS children's village of Greece and with the civil non-profit Tandem Society for the Experimental Laboratories Psaroloco at the Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Center of Children with Disabilities of Attica (K.A.A.P.A.A. former P.I.K.P.A. The London Vaporetto Shorts Film Festival is a festival dedicated to short-films from emerging filmmakers. Created by Anouk Witkowska Hiffler and Tomás Felicio Oliveira, the festival is organised by the Vaporetto Films production company. Now in its third year, the 2026 edition will take place in London at the Garden cinema on the 6th of June 2026.
The aim of the festival is to create an environment in which all filmmakers will have the chance to network, build connections and perhaps find their next filmmaking partnerships.
Colors of Love - Queer Film Festival is a vibrant LGBTIQ community initiative created by filmmakers to celebrate and curate queer short films, documentaries, animations, music videos, and web series. Our mission is to introduce these stories to new audiences in a fun, engaging, and informative way.
We welcome submissions of any short films, documentaries, animations, music videos, or web series that explore LGBTQ+ themes, regardless of when they were made. Please ensure that you hold all the rights to your film, including music, images, and likenesses used in it.
With the success of last year’s event, we’re thrilled to announce that this year we are expanding the length of eligible films from 20 minutes to 40 minutes. Additionally, we are introducing a brand-new LGBTQ Feature Film category to further showcase diverse and powerful queer stories.
Colors of Love Queer Film Festival become the official part of FilmyBees Cine Club, which manages and hosts the festival and associated programs. The last event took place on 22nd - 23rd June during Pride Month, celebrating the diversity of love in Mumbai, the Bollywood city of India.
By submitting your film, you grant us permission to screen it in unlimited live screenings throughout the year.
Additionally, we will host an online event at the end of the year, where all selected films will be screened via our online film streaming partners. This is a non-exclusive agreement, meaning you are free to share your film elsewhere.
Since its first edition, the Santo Domingo Global Film Festival (FCGSD) has taken firm steps to grow both nationally and internationally while remaining true to its mission. In the city of El Bolsón, since 2016, students of the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Artistic Design (LDAA) at the National University of Río Negro (UNRN) have concluded their studies with a festival open to the community, a celebration of audiovisual encounters and making that is renewed each year. This is the Audiovisual Artistic Festival, or, simply and lovingly, the FAA. An event organized and managed entirely by the students of the program, it has managed to sustain and position itself for 10 years as one of the most important audiovisual festivals in Patagonia.
