The 16th National Guaíba Student Film Festival (Cinestudantil Guaíba) will take place November 6-14, 2017, in the city of Guaíba, Rio Grande do Sul State. The event aims to encourage audiovisual production as a pedagogical activity linked to the curriculum School.

Le Festival international du court métrage d'Izmir est considéré comme l'un des plus grands événements dans le domaine du cinéma en Turquie et il rencontrera son public pour la 27e fois cette année. The Green-Go International Short Film Contest aims to gather environmentally and socially conscious youngsters to organize the contest and the festival on one hand, and on the other hand, to inspire youngsters to creatively express their ideas in a
short film format. With the shorts, we aim to raise awareness on environmental and social problems at global, European and national level. With Green-Go festival, we wish to create the basis of a sustainable green film event that activates both youngsters and the civil society, attracts interested people and stakeholders and generates dialogues within the whole society about key eco-social questions.
Within the film contest, we accept shorts in three categories to reflect on European awareness, global environmental and social problems and the connection between biodiversity and society.
The Green-Go Short Film Contest is generously supported by the European Commission.

LA MANO, Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico y de Terror is a free and competitive festival and it is dedicated to fantasy, sci-fi and horror cinema.
We are a small nonprofit festival (free tickets for scifi audience) and we work with public libraries support (lectures, exhibitions...etc.) We have no corporate sponsorship. It is the people of the city, people who love horror (a lot of bakers, plumbers, teachers...etc) who fund us.
This festival was created as a contest with a-1000-Euro prize (best film) and 350 Euros (best short film). That's all we could offer, plus a quality projection in a really good theatre and Spanish press coverage.
Our organization wishes to create and perpetuate an exciting event that creates a community of horror and sci-fi fans and filmmakers who encourage and appreciate Spanish people about horror and sci-fi filmmaking.

MADTerrorFest was created with the purpose of covering the vacuum that exists in Madrid regarding the genres of fantasy films and terror concerns.

We want to do a festival of short films that gradually give rise to the International Film Festival of horror and fantastic of Madrid, and become a reference within the national and international scene.

Au cours des dernières décennies, et à une époque marquée par l'émergence de nouvelles technologies qui ont fini par scanner la plupart des processus du film, le documentaire a connu un essor notoire et systématique dans le monde entier. Dans notre pays, et depuis plus d'une décennie, une production auparavant liée presque exclusivement à la fiction vient grossir les rangs avec de nouveaux sujets, de nouvelles approches, de nouvelles géographies, de nouveaux dilemmes.
C'est dans ce contexte que la FIDBA est proposée comme 1ère. Festival international du film dédié à ce genre qui permet aux films ayant les mêmes fans de rencontrer et de dialoguer entre eux et avec le public, tant que nous pensons que les formes et le fonctionnement du film documentaire sont différents de ceux de la fiction. Si le documentaire est un point de rencontre pour la FIDBA, c'est dans la mesure où il propose une interpellation aux mémoires méconnues, au présent inquiétant et à (notre) futur en suspens. La FIDBA sera alors une approche non seulement destinée au public, aux cinéastes et aux penseurs liés au documentaire, mais aussi aux possibilités toujours stimulantes qui permettent d'ouvrir cet espace à d'autres expressions frontalières et hétérodoxes encadrées dans ce que nous appellerions la « non-fiction » et qui nous encouragent à dialoguer avec des expressions contemporaines qui dépassent même le cadre du film.
La FIDBA accordera une attention particulière aux cinéastes pour qui le cinéma est lié à une forme de recherche et de connaissance du monde qui nous entoure, ainsi qu'au portrait d'êtres humains dont les conditions de vie, dans certains contextes historiques et sociaux, vous permettent de nous interroger sur les nôtres. Ce sont donc les auteurs qui reflètent non seulement la réalité, mais également la relation éthique et morale qui implique de filmer l'autre.
La FIDBA a pour objectif de devenir un point de soutien pour les cinéastes qui cherchent à élargir leur perception de la réalité et pour les films qui constituent un pas en avant dans leurs efforts pour la comprendre et l'anticiper. Il mettra donc l'accent sur des films dont l'originalité esthétique met en péril non seulement une idée du documentaire, mais également une réflexion sur le même film et ses possibilités. Puisque cette focalisation implique de questionner le statut de la face avant réelle de la caméra ou du film par rapport à la réalité, cela est tout aussi indissociable des médiations qui en découlent.
La muestra internacional de cortometrajes Video/Jujuy/Cortos es un espacio de proyección audiovisual NO competitivo, sin fin de lucro, abierto y gratuito organizado anualmente por Wayruro Comunicación Popular.
L'objectif du festival est de promouvoir la production et la diffusion d'audiovisuels comme moyen d'expression et de communication.
Cet espace artistique/culturel gratuit est né en 2002. The 30 Dies Festival is a tiny festival located in a tiny country between France and Spain which focuses on the fantastic film genre. On 2014 we had our first edition with 14 films screened during November in two venues. Our festival covers any film with fantastic elements within the genre of thriller / horror / action / creature / documentary / sci fi - films. At this year’s edition we have two categories: Feature Films and Short films (Under 20 minutes).
The 30 Dies Festival loves indie films and, for this reason, we accept films recorded in every format and with any kind of budget, but be sure that your film fits into our festival.
