RULES OF THE XI MOSTRA CURTS DE MOSCATELL 2026
The Town Council of Teulada Moraira, in collaboration with the Cultural Association Amics de Teulada, organizes and announces the XI Mostra Curts de Moscatell, which will be governed by the following rules.
Cash Prizes: 6,000€
4. AWARDS
4.1 Best Short Film (Open Theme) Award (€1,500)
4.2 Best Valencian Short Film Award (€1,000)
4.3 “A Step Forward for Equality” Award (€1,000)
For works addressing themes related to the promotion of gender equality.
4.4 Best Director Award (€1,000)
4.5 Best Performance Award (€1,000)
4.6 Audience Award (€500)
Awards are not mutually exclusive; a single work may receive more than one award.
The jury may declare any award void, in which case the prize money will be distributed among the finalists with the mentions decided by the jury.
Awards will be paid within a maximum period of 30 days following receipt of the required documentation, which will be previously sent by the organization to the winners. Taxes and, where applicable, legal withholdings will be applied to prize payments.
Attendance at the festival’s closing gala is mandatory in order to receive the award. Failure to attend, unless duly justified due to force majeure, implies forfeiture of the prize. The organization will make the final decision regarding the acceptance of any justification for non-attendance. The festival will cover accommodation and travel expenses for the award winners.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain has recognized the Mostra Curts de Moscatell de Teulada as a qualifying festival for the Goya Awards in the category of Best Short Film. Short films that win this award and meet the Goya requirements may be eligible for preselection.
RULES OF THE XI MOSTRA CURTS DE MOSCATELL 2026
The Town Council of Teulada Moraira, in collaboration with the Cultural Association Amics de Teulada, organizes and announces the XI Mostra Curts de Moscatell, which will be governed by the following rules:
1. PARTICIPATION AND SHORT FILMS.
1.1 A maximum of 2 short films may be submitted per participant.
1.2 Maximum duration: 25 minutes.
1.3 Production date: not earlier than 2025.
1.4 The following genres are accepted: fiction, documentary, and animation.
1.5 Short films that are not in Valencian or Spanish must include subtitles in one of these two languages.
1.6 Works created partially or entirely using AI will not be accepted.
2. REGISTRATION.
2.1 The deadline for registration is June 15, 2026.
2.2 Registration must be completed via the Festhome platform:

2.3 The organization reserves the right to reject a work due to poor copy quality, as well as to request a new copy for screening.
2.4 Submitted works grant exploitation rights for the duration of the festival. The organization may use excerpts for promotional purposes. In the event of screenings on other dates, participants will be informed in order to reach a mutual agreement.
The organization will not transfer submitted works to third parties.
2.5 Participants are responsible for ensuring that submitted works do not infringe on third-party copyrights and release the organization from any legal liability. All participants, by submitting their works, fully accept these rules.
3. SCREENING
3.1 Selected works will be screened during the last week of August 2026. The selection will be announced one month in advance on the website www.curtsdemoscatell.es and communicated via email.
4. Awards
