In recent decades, and at one time to the emergence of new technologies that have ended up scanning most of the processes of the film, the documentary has known a notorious and systematic growth around the world. In our country, and for more than one decade, a production before linked almost exclusively to fiction has been swelling their ranks with new topics, new approaches, new geographies, new dilemmas.

It is in this context that FIDBA is proposed as the 1st. International Film Festival dedicated to this genre which films with the same fans - as long as we believe that the forms and the doings of the documentary film are different from those of the fiction - may meet and dialogue among them and with the public. The Amiens Festival of Film on Affective and Sexual Education (FFEVAS), organized by La Fabrique d’Images, will hold its second edition from May 4 to 7, 2026.
As the first festival in France dedicated to affective and sexual education through cinema, it presents an international selection of short films (fiction, documentary, animation) addressing themes such as consent, gender equality, sexual and gender diversity, sexual health, STI prevention, and the fight against gender-based and sexual violence.

PRESENTATION OF FESTIVAL

The International Imago Film Festival was born with the idea of promoting cinema, especially independent cinema, by encouraging research and experimentation with cinematographic language.

The idea of the festival was born from the meeting of IMAGO with the city of Civitella del Tronto, where the award-winning film "The right to happiness" by Claudio Rossi Massimi was made by IMAGO.

After the first two editions in the wonderful setting of Civitella del Tronto, the Festival has moved to the Municipality of Teramo with a broad cultural program, full of new features that go beyond national borders and that strengthens and highlights this fascinating bond.

The International Imago Film Festival will be all this and much more.
