The Selection Committee will start the selection process and review of your films! To anyone who hasn't provided a download link, we would kindly ask you to provide us with a link or permission in Festhome no later than March 15th !

Dear animators, please send us your film in format:

1. Container: MP4 or MOV
2. Resolution: FullHD 1080p
3. Datarate (compression): up to 8000 kbps (kilo bits per second)
(not less than 60-70 МВ and not more than 400-500 MB for films up to 20 minutes! And not more than 1.5-2 GB for a feature film)

FOOD FILMS _ THIS YEAR'S THEME FOR 2026: JAPAN AND ITS CUISINE

This festival, created by cinema and gastronomy professionals, was born from their passion for these two themes; and from 2 books we wrote: 'les petits plats du grand écran' (Little Dishes of the Big Screen) (1999) (Canal + edition) and Ciné-bouffe (Cinema-Food) (2001) (Hors Collection edition); as well as from a first International Film and Gastronomy Festival that took place in Dijon (2004 and 2005).

It is therefore with a 'gourmand' pleasure that we decided to once again pay tribute, through this festival, to the delicious films (whether sharp or savory) evoking gastronomy, and to the most exquisite table scenes, to try to understand why and how they were 'cooked' by the directors who imagined them.

The III SEA FILM FESTIVAL will be held from 20 to 26 April 2026 in the town of Marín.

The Cultural Association for a Sea Museum for Marín is the organizing entity of this festival. Since its creation, the Marin Sea Museum has had as one of its main objectives the recovery of the seafaring identity of the town of Marín, as well as the conservation and dissemination of the cultural heritage linked to the sea, maritime and seafaring culture, especially among the new generations. On the other hand, the Galician language is an indissoluble part of our culture. Language and the sea are two fundamental elements to understand and disseminate our identity.
