The BFM Incubator call is open from July 16 to September 15, 2025. It targets short film or web series projects (fiction, documentary, or animation) in development, pre-production, shooting, or post-production, led by a director–producer team.
At least 20% of the budget must be secured, in cash or in-kind. The director or producer must have prior professional recognition (participation in Bogoshorts, international festivals, or funds such as the FDC).
Selected projects will access mentoring, one-on-one meetings, and networking to boost international co‑production opportunities. Top projects will gain fast-tracks to Clermont-Ferrand Euro Connection 2026, Emergente Cine Lab, and ECAM Forum in Madrid.
Results will be announced on October 24, 2025, during the Revelation Night at Cinemateca de Bogotá.

Incubadora BOGOSHORTS Film Market
Berlinale Talents 2026 is a professional development program of the Berlin International Film Festival, taking place from February 13 to 18, 2026. Applications are open until September 3, 2025, for filmmakers and creators with proven experience in feature films, short films, series, or telefilms, across genres like fiction, documentary, hybrids, or virtual reality. Projects must be in advanced development stages and have had festival presence or recognized distribution. Selected participants will join workshops, mentoring, and labs to enhance their careers and expand their international network. Applications are submitted online by completing a professional profile and presenting a project. There is no application fee, but travel and accommodation costs are the participant’s responsibility.

Berlinale Talents
Flipbook BFM is a call from the Bogotá Short Film Market for animated short film projects at any stage: development, pre-production, production, or post-production. It is aimed at Ibero-American teams composed of a director and a producer. Projects must have at least 20% of their budget secured, in cash or in-kind, and one team member must have prior experience recognized in international festivals or audiovisual funds.
The call is open from July 16 to September 15, 2025. Selected projects will receive mentoring, meetings with companies, and networking opportunities to foster partnerships and co-productions. Results will be announced on October 24, 2025, at the Cinemateca de Bogotá.

Flipbook BOGOSHORTS Film Market
Arché Porto, part of Porto/Post/Doc, is a development lab and residency for early‑stage projects. It targets emerging filmmakers working on creative documentaries, hybrid works, or film essays in feature‑length or medium‑length format.
The next edition will take place in Porto during the festival, 25 November – 1 December 2025 (Arché sessions usually happen on the Industry days, around 25–27 November).
The program offers tailored mentorships, feedback sessions, and networking activities, encouraging formal and narrative experimentation. Selected projects are developed and presented to international industry professionals during the festival.
Priority is given to projects linked to Portugal, Galicia, or the Iberian Peninsula. The call opens in summer and closes by late September 2025 (exact date to be confirmed). A dossier with synopsis, treatment, CV, and development status is required.

Porto/Post/Doc - Arché Porto
Chicago Script Awards invites submissions of original screenplays in English across four categories: feature (up to 160 pages), TV pilot (up to 130 pages), short (up to 40 pages), and super-short (up to 10 pages). All genres are accepted with no restrictions. Writers from any country can participate, as long as the script is in English and formatted properly (paginated, unencrypted PDF). Produced, optioned, or rights-restricted scripts are not eligible.
Entries open in three phases: Early Bird, Regular, and Late Deadline, with fees ranging from $30 for features, pilots, and shorts, to $40 for super-shorts. Discounts are available for Gold members.
Winners receive prizes including IMDb visibility, Sundance membership, and professional services valued over $5,000. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your screenplay and connect with an international industry network.
