The Meet Them! program is an initiative by the Industry Department of the San Sebastián International Film Festival, aimed at bringing together audiovisual professionals from various regions. Its goal is to provide direct access to the festival, expand networking opportunities, and promote collaboration on film projects. Producers, directors, and other professionals with projects in development, pre-production, or production are selected, primarily feature films and documentaries with international co-production potential. The call is launched through local or national entities, which manage registration and participant selection. Selected participants join networking activities, presentations, and meetings during the festival. Applications typically require submitting a project technical sheet, dossier, CV, and motivation letter by the established deadline. It is a unique opportunity to connect with the global film industry and boost project visibility and funding.

Nuestra iniciativa Short Film Fund apoya la producción de un guion de cortometraje (20 páginas como máximo) o la finalización de un cortometraje (menos de 20 minutos) con una subvención de hasta 5.000 libras esterlinas (aproximadamente 6.300 dólares), un paquete de alquiler de kits y servicios de posproducción en especie. Los cineastas pueden presentar su candidatura sin necesidad de un productor. Si su proyecto resulta seleccionado, podemos ayudarte a encontrar uno.

The Magic Screenplay call is a special section of the San Benedetto International Film Festival (SBFF), held in San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy. This contest aims to discover and promote new talents in screenwriting, both nationally and internationally. The main objective is to select the best pitch with a predefined theme, which will then be developed into a complete script and produced as a short film of no more than 15 minutes. This project will be produced by the Associated Professionals Association of Art & Management "IL SERPENTE AUREO," in collaboration with the FILM COMMISSION MARCHE and the MARCHE REGION, under the patronage of the City of San Benedetto del Tronto.

CINEMA POVERO - GUIÓN
Short film script competition of up to 30 pages. Scripts that exceed that number of pages will not be accepted. All genders are welcome. The official selections will be limited to the 5 best finalists, whose scripts will be read at a table at the festival itself, performed by professional actors. A complete block of live readings for the top 5 scripts! 1st, 2nd and 3rd place (of the 5 live table reads) will be announced at the awards ceremony.
