The SSIFF – Lau Haizetara 2026 Documentary Co-Production Forum, held within the San Sebastián Film Festival, is an international industry call focused on documentary projects in development seeking co-production and financing opportunities. It is organized by EPE-IBAIA in collaboration with the San Sebastián Film Festival and takes place in San Sebastián, Spain.

The application deadline is June 27, 2026, and the forum will be held from September 21 to 23, 2026, during the San Sebastián Film Festival.

This is an international call, open to independent production companies with documentary projects in development, particularly those aiming for European co-production.

The call is dedicated exclusively to the documentary genre, targeting projects at an early or mid-development stage within a professional industry context.

The accepted format is documentary projects in development, mainly feature-length documentaries, with flexibility depending on the project’s scope.
