The Evaristo Márquez International Film Festival of San Basilio de Palenque - FICEM Palenque is an initiative that was born in 2017 and is materialized for the first time in 2018 with the aim of being a platform for exhibition of projects and cinematographic works. This festival starts from the curiosity to explore and experience through the arts the culture of San Basilio de Palenque, also known as "the corner of Africa in Colombia".
