El LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) es el primer escaparate de experimentación en medios basados en cine, video y audio de Los Ángeles. Se centra en el cine vanguardista, art-house, independiente y de bajo presupuesto, con la quinta edición que tendrá lugar en julio de 2020, en Los Ángeles.
Nuestro programa ofrece un lugar para que los cineastas reinventen y exploren nuevos enfoques, fomenten nuevas formas de arte mediático y construyan una audiencia para este tipo de trabajo. Nuestro objetivo es presentar una amplia gama de trabajos explorando las múltiples definiciones e interpretaciones del concepto de «underground».
Buscamos películas hechas con pasión, obsesión y motivación; películas que vayan más allá de las expectativas y el género; películas, proyectos de vídeo y audio que se esfuercen por superar los límites de la forma y el contenido aceptados. Un fuerte sentido de autoría es una necesidad.
LAUFF acepta todas las formas y géneros: desde drama, documental, experimental, culto, art-house, lengua extranjera, comedia, terror, ciencia ficción, fantasía, animación, LGBT, indígena, erótica hasta cine lento y videoarte...
Our festival happens in London, UK, one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities, and screens short comedy films from around the globe. Our festival is held at the prestigious and lovely Hackney Picturehouse, home to many film premieres. We are proud to showcase, connect and promote talented comedy filmmakers from all over the world.
It is curated by WWCSFF Film Festivals which also produces the London-X4 Seasonal Short Film Festival and the Asia South East-Short Film Festival.

The Festival Directors have been involved in live and filmed comedy promotion, performance and production for over fifteen years.
Exciting, creative content is more important to us than slick production values. With comedy, if you make them laugh, audiences won't care if you filmed your masterpiece on your uncle the swinger's 1980s video camera.
London and the UK has a long, illustrious history of comedy from The Canterbury Tales to Monty Python. It is also a global centre for production companies and talent agencies that are looking for new talent to provide comedy content for the ever expanding market of online entertainment, digital content marketing and advertising. We have a database of these companies and agencies and update them about the talented filmmakers participating in our festival.
Most importantly though, the films we screen aim to entertain our festival audiences so we have some important criteria for the films we show:

Being able to share great, undiscovered comedy films is a real buzz and delight for us and our festival is an essential calendar feature both for audiences wishing to have some great nights of laughter and for the discovery of new comedy creators.

The Niederrhein Filmfestival is a film festival held in the beautiful city of Wesel in Germany. The purpose is to promote and circulate short films and to generate contacts between audience, young directors and professionals, giving special attention to dutch short films. At the same time, it will be the first borderland film festival exclusively showing Dutch films within a competition on German soil. 3rd Edition of Green Planet Barcelona, International Short Film Festival on and about Environment.
Green Planet Barcelona is an international film festival on and about Environment that includes the genres of fiction, animation and documentary. The selection of the short films for the Official Section and the Non Competitive Section is based on artistic, technical and writing criteria. The Official Selection is made by the students from Institut Vacarisses. During the 4th edition of the Festival, the Institut Vacarisses will organize a parallel festival, the "European Green Planet Film Festival" with other secondary schools in Italy, Portugal and Poland, as a result of an Erasmus + scholarship received at the Institute. The selection of short films for the "European Green Planet Film Festival" will be made by the students of the 4 Institutes that participate in the Erasmus + project. The films sent to editions 3 and 4 of the Green Planet Barcelona, will also be able to participate in the European Green Planet Film Festival.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
You can submit any short film which has been published after January 2016.
You can submit any national or international short film (fiction, animated or documentary) that focuses on Environment.
Each participant may submit more than one short film.
Films can be submitted in any language. All submissions must include English subtitles.
The length of the short film cannot exceed:
10 minutes for fiction and animated films.
12 minutes for documentaries.
All entries must be submitted within October 8th, 2019 and February 15th, 2020, both included.

Por el momento, no se espera que haya ningún premio en metálico.
Tú lo sabes mejor que nadie: hacer una película de menos de 4 minutos requiere mucho talento y creatividad. Por eso, el Très Court les rinde homenaje desde hace más de veinte años con su Festival Internacional, que se celebra simultáneamente en junio en unos cincuenta lugares de los cinco continentes. Las proyecciones tienen lugar exclusivamente en la gran pantalla, en salas o al aire libre, para un público tan fiel como ferviente.
Las Très Courts se dividen en seis secciones, dos de las cuales compiten: la Internacional, la Competición de Palabras Femeninas, la Selección Francesa, la Selección Familiar, la Selección Documental y la Selección Ríe (antes del fin del mundo).
Tanto si eres principiante como si eres un profesional, clásico o vanguardista, siempre que tu película no supere los 4 minutos, no dudes en probar suerte, sobre todo porque la inscripción de tu (s) película (s) es gratuita. Se aceptan todos los géneros: ficción, documental, animación, CGI, drama, comedia, documental e incluso películas gore o de terror.
A lo largo de 8 años, Oftálmica Cine se ha convertido en uno de los pilares de la exhibición y difusión de cine y los medios audiovisuales en Veracruz, caracterizándose por la búsqueda de temáticas contemporáneas abordadas desde versátiles miradas e híbridas narrativas.
En su octava edición, el festival invita a cineastas y videoastas de México y el mundo a participar en la presente convocatoria para formar parte de la Selección Oficial del Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente, Oftálmica 2020, a celebrarse durante el mes de noviembre en la ciudad de Xalapa, Vera-

The sixth edition of the 7th Moon Festival, International Festival of Long and short films, organized by the Association loi 1901 "The New Moon" will take place from Tuesday 26 March 2019 to Monday 1 April 2019 in Rennes. The films in official competition will be projected between March 26 and April 1, 2019 at night.
For all of its selections, the 7th Moon Festival will select only long and short films whose directors were under 31 years of age, at the time of the completion of the film.
La Muestra Internacional de Cine y Diversidad Sexual CINHOMO acepta trabajos cinematográficos de todas las nacionalidades de temática LGBTIQ, qué podrán ser elegibles en las diversas secciones del festival: Largometrajes de Ficción, Cortometrajes de Ficción, Largometrajes documentales y cortometrajes documentales.
Las obras no deben haber sido exhibidas en salas comerciales, emitidas por TV o estar disponibles al público en Internet o en cualquier otra plataforma en territorio español con anterioridad a la celebración del festival y deben tener copyright posterior al 01/01/2023. Los largometrajes han de ser inéditos en la Comunidad de Castilla y León; en el caso de los cortometrajes no será excluyente pero se valorará positivamente. La organización se reserva el derecho de incluir en la programación fuera de concurso películas que no cumplan estas condiciones.
1. OBJETIVOS
Festival de Málaga tiene como objetivo la difusión y promoción del audiovisual en español, incluyendo en esta denominación al conjunto de las cinematografías iberoamericanas. Entre sus funciones destaca la de acoger el encuentro de los diversos sectores profesionales del cine en español (entendiéndose como tal el audiovisual producido en España y en todo el territorio iberoamericano, incluyendo Portugal y Brasil), potenciando tanto su desarrollo como su comercialización internacional.

Para el cumplimiento de estos objetivos Festival de Málaga celebrará su 29 Edición del 6 al 15 de marzo de 2026.
El Festival AVIFF presenta un programa de películas de artistas en Cannes durante el período del Festival de Cine de Cannes, 4 días en mayo.
El concepto: mostrar otro «cine» y presentar obras audiovisuales a un público de asistentes al festival y profesionales.
Las obras seleccionadas deben haber sido producidas por artistas durante menos de 2 años y nunca antes se han presentado en Francia.
El programa presentado en Cannes se programará luego durante el año en lugares educativos y culturales asociados: festivales, museos, Centro de Arte Contemporáneo, fundaciones, universidades, escuelas... y esto en el mundo, en Europa y en Francia.
Con el apoyo del Ministerio de Cultura, la región de Provenza y la Costa Azul, la Fundación Angel Orensanz de Nueva York y socios públicos y privados, el Festival AVIFF lleva 13 años trabajando para promover el cine del artista y su difusión, en favor de la libertad artística mundial y la expresión de la propia creatividad.

XII EDITION: Recognizing our shadow
Our shade can be a real problem.
It is that side of our humanity, which we prefer to keep hidden, and which makes us act questionably.
This shadow, is in part, what has led us to cause a terrible impact on the environment.
Deforestation, oil spills, pollution of soils and seas, annihilation of species, violation of indigenous rights and assassinations of environmental defenders.
This shadow, individual and collective, is projected from the big cities over our ecosystems and under the protection of state legality and private investments in favor of “progress and industrialization”.
In times where the imbalance we have caused in the environment, comes back at us like climate disasters and nature embezzles, it behooves us to dare to look back at this shadow.
We have a responsibility to understand its impact, point out those projecting it and demand regulations to defend those it affects.
They say that the first step to solving a problem is to identify it and today, through cinema, we seek to acknowledge our actions, to stop the advance of their consequences on our unique natural environment.
