Brasília Animation Festival is the firts International Film Festival in Brasília, exclusevily for animation movies. The short films selected will be displayed between 04 and October 06, 2019. There will be a special session, named "Bloody Session", dedicated exclusively to marginal, experimental movies, fantastic, surreal and even scatological.

A nosotros, pero, nos gusta pensar que las cosas no tienen que ser demasiado grandes para ser importantes, bonitas, necesarias o decisivas y esta es la filosofía que vayamos aplicando desde casi la primera edición de este Festival.
Reivindicamos las obras de corta duración porque creemos que se puede descubrir el ingenio concentrado en un corto espacio temporal. Este objetivo es el motivo que nos mueve y nos impulsa a continuar buscando y hurgando en las propuestas que nos llegan para hacer una selección de temática, tipología y género bastante diferente para mostrar el abanico de posibilidades expresivas del relato corto.

The virtual theater is the future of film festivals, as more and more festivals are now screening films online, and even the big festivals such as the Sundance Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Festival are moving to online screenings.
Festivals are making the leap to cyber screenings because of many reasons, including that it allows for so much more exposure for the films. It is expected that just like the extinction of the 35mm projectors that were replaced with digital, one day in the not too distant future all film festivals will screen almost exclusively online, with only a few live presentations, if any.
Unlike most other Film Festivals, ours is different because it offers a unique method of viewing films in an online film festival that is totally secure and safe for a filmmaker’s project, and even those that provide online festivals cannot duplicate the safety and security that our virtual theater offers.
Very different from other festivals streaming films online, films in this festival cannot be downloaded, the films HAVE NO EMBEDDING CODE and our HTML code if copied and pasted, the films will not play, therefore they CANNOT be placed on other websites.
The only time and place they can be viewed is in our festival. In short, we have gone to great lengths to set this system up to protect the safety and security of each filmmaker’s film always keeping the filmmaker in mind. Basically, it is just as secure as a brick and mortar theater screening, only much better.
The virtual theater system and screening platform is completely secure and can be viewed from any computer, and mobile device.

Cinema Verde es una organización sin fines de lucro con sede en Gainesville, Florida, con la misión de proporcionar educación ambiental desde fuentes independientes al público internacional a través de películas, artes y eventos comunitarios.

Celebraremos nuestro decimocuarto festival anual de febrero de 2023 en Florida. El festival anual de cine se complementará con minifestivales trimestrales que comercializan el lanzamiento de nuevas películas en nuestra plataforma de streaming, además de eventos de proyección por satélite organizados en todo el mundo. Cinema Verde, como nueva plataforma de streaming, nos proporciona acceso continuo a una base de datos de cine y arte ambiental que nos habla de conciencia y que ha sido recopilada durante 13 años de festivales de cine de Cinema Verde.

Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
EL FICX - FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE DE GIJÓN/XIXÓN tiene como objetivo reunir una amplia y variada selección del cine autoral que se produce en todo el mundo, con especial atención a propuestas innovadoras y a cineastas emergentes. La FUNDACION ACCION CULTURAL (FUNAC), PRODUCCIONES CENTAURO-JAC y el CENTRO DE ARTE DAVID SUAREZ (CADS) Presentan su festival de cortos Online.
El principal objetivo es ofrecer la oportunidad a jóvenes y profesionales con talento de toda Latinoamérica y mundo hispano en ese mundo profesional. Es sabida la existencia de un hueco entre la etapa de formación y la entrada al mundo profesional cinematográfico. Lo que pretendemos es superar este vacío trabajando en algo fundamental que va más allá de la técnica o el estilo, nos centramos en los factores para que un proyecto tenga viabilidad y se convierta en una realidad.
Consideramos que el audiovisual en Latinoamérica ha experimentado en los últimos años un enorme desarrollo, no en cuanto al talento, que siempre ha estado ahí, sino en cuanto a la creación de una industria capaz de generar obras de calidad. Es gratamente sorprendente descubrir contenidos latinoamericanos en festivales, donde además ganan premios y reconocimientos.
También es creciente el interés de los productores europeos por coproducir con Latinoamérica. Esta situación no existía hace apenas algunos años. Sin embargo, creemos que uno de los problemas a los que se enfrenta el audiovisual en Latinoamérica es la dificultad para dar a conocer y posicionar el talento y los proyectos en el exterior. Éste es uno de los motivos fundamentales por los que decidimos poneros en marcha, dinamizar estos trabajos, ayudar a que circulen por festivales y mercados, que encuentren la manera de financiarse y que se puedan compartir con el mayor número de espectadores posibles.
