Festival start: 01 May 2027      Festival end: 31 May 2027

The festival aims to be a platform in favor of freedom of expression, the social normalization of different sexual alternatives, and a vehicle for the dissemination of erotism as a creative and healthy form of cultural expression.

Cash Prizes: 4,500€

In the case of short films

Two prize categories are established: three prizes awarded by the jury (first, second, and third prize) and a Public Choice Award for Best Short Film.
Jury Award Category: chosen by the jury convened for this purpose among industry professionals, which will award a monetary prize to the three best short films: €500 for third place, €1,000 for second place, and €1,500 for first place.
Public Choice Award Category for Best Short Film: chosen by the general public through their votes on the website www.premiosbonobo.com, endowed with €1,500.
Both categories are compatible and cumulative.

Public communication will be made through the festival website.

The jury may leave the prize void if it considers that none of the short films submitted meets the necessary formal or quality requirements to be considered winners; however, the public choice award will always be awarded based on the votes obtained through the website.

Authors may use and/or assign the rights to their works while respecting the deadlines and rights assigned to the prize organization, and maintaining the intros/headers included in the short films by the "Premios Bonobo" during the first 36 months.

The prizes, minus applicable tax withholdings existing at the time of payment, will be delivered to the winners via bank transfer within one month following the receipt of a copy of the contract for assignment of rights in favor of the awardee.

FIRST. - Organizing Entity

APEOGA (Association of Producers and Publishers of Audiovisual Works and Recordings), with address for notification purposes at Hurtada, 31 Local, (28240) Hoyo de Manzanares, Madrid, and NIF G 84841899, organizes the contest called “BONOBO AWARDS”, owner of the website www.premiosbonobo.com.

SECOND. - Purpose of the Festival

The festival aims to be a platform in favor of freedom of expression, the social normalization of different sexual alternatives, and a vehicle for the dissemination of erotism as a creative and healthy form of cultural expression.

The organization includes two main sections:

1. Out of Competition – Special Collaborations: Directors, actors, journalists, and other professionals of recognized prestige in the world of cinema, video, culture, and art in general will make a short film by invitation of the organization in order to show their support for the festival and demonstrate the creative possibilities that erotism and technology offer today.

2. Individual Contest: Individuals who are at least 18 years old and of legal age according to the laws of their country of residence, whether residing in Spain or abroad, and who comply with these rules, may participate in the Contest.

Members of the APEOGA Board, their relatives up to the first degree of kinship, as well as employees of companies involved in the development and mechanics of this Contest, are expressly excluded from participating in this Contest.

The Organization reserves the right, unilaterally and without prior notice, to cancel a participant's registration, as well as not to award the prize to any participant suspected or detected of trying to defraud, alter, or impair the proper functioning and normal and regulatory course of this Contest.

Non-acceptance of these rules will result in the loss for the participant of any prize or right derived from their participation in the Contest.

The co-author who submits the work as the designated representative guarantees having the consent of all co-authors to submit it and to receive the prize in case of winning.
