ANNEX I
Rules for the Canal Sur Radio and Television Award for Andalusian Audiovisual Creation

First

The "Canal Sur Radio and Television Award for Andalusian Audiovisual Creation" is established to recognize the best audiovisual work in any format—especially short films and documentaries, and occasionally feature films—submitted to Andalusian audiovisual festivals.

RTVA (Radio and Television of Andalusia) reaffirms its commitment to promoting Andalusian culture by collaborating with institutions that foster audiovisual creation and innovation. The goal is to acknowledge and support talent by awarding audiovisual works produced or created in Andalusia or by Andalusians.

Second

The CSRTV awards for Andalusian Audiovisual Creation will be decided by the jury of the festival in which the work participates. An RTVA representative will be part of the jury’s deliberations. Jury members' names will be published on the Canal Sur website. Any issues in interpreting or applying these rules will be resolved by the jury, and its decisions are final. Participation implies full acceptance of these rules and their Annexes I, II, and III.

The award may be declared void due to a lack of quality or failure to meet minimum broadcast standards. It may also be revoked if the winner does not meet the requirements or fails to sign the necessary documentation outlined in the rules.

These rules will be made public on RTVA’s digital media and other communication channels chosen by the festival organizers.

Third

The CSRTV Award consists of a bronze statuette reproducing the sculpture EL DILEMA by Mario César de las Cuevas.

The award will be presented by an RTVA-designated representative or a delegated festival representative at the awards ceremony.

Fourth

The winning work may be broadcast by CSRTV if the producer or author complies with all the requirements outlined in the Agreement and the attached Annexes I, II, and III.

The winner must deliver the necessary materials to RTVA/CSRTV as specified in Annexes II and III.

Fifth

The festival organization must email the jury's decision to cortos@rtva.es.
A work may only receive one Canal Sur award, even if selected at multiple festivals. Winners must inform future festivals of any previous Canal Sur award. This information will be disclosed to the jury prior to its decision.

Sixth

The awarded work may be broadcast on CSRTV's linear channels (DTT), on-demand services, OTT CanalSur Más, digital platforms, hybrid TV, the internet, mobile devices, and social media—without download options for personal use.

The winner must sign a non-exclusive copyright transfer agreement for two years, which may be extended for an additional three years unless either party objects one month before the term ends.

Seventh

This transfer to RTVA/CSRTV will be free of charge.
