The Creative Residency targets documentary feature projects in development, production, or post-production, providing workshops, mentorship, and spaces to advance audiovisual creation. The Critical Residency supports young critics developing research or writing projects on nonfiction cinema, offering tutoring, festival immersion, and specialized guidance. The call is unified for both modalities, with specific forms and requirements, taking place between October and November 2025 in various venues in Portugal and Spain. The program aims to strengthen Ibero-American documentary cinema through training, exchange, and creative support.

The theme of the scripts is completely free and can belong to any genre.
All submitted works must be original. In the event that the contestant uses a novel, story or text by another author as the basis for the script, the contestant must include the corresponding authorization from the author of the original work in their registration.

The EICTV Online Laboratory in Scriptwriting and Production Design will take place from September 1 to December 1, 2025, entirely online, with two weekly two-hour sessions for subgroups of up to five projects, with a maximum of twenty participants per workshop. It is intended for students and professionals in Film, Television, Theatre, Audiovisual Communication, Multimedia Design, Journalism, and related fields who wish to develop a literary script (fiction or documentary, short or feature-length) and design its production for presentation to international funding bodies. Tuition is €800 for writer/director + producer teams or individual participation in both workshops, and €400 for participants attending only one.

Screenwriting and Production Design - EICTV
The Iberseries & Platino Industria Co-production and Financing Forum 2025 will take place on October 1-2 at Matadero Madrid.
