Il Consorzio Polla in Corto organizza la quattordicesima edizione del Festival del Cortometraggio denominato " CORTI A SUD ", che si svolgerà a Polla (SA) dal 20 al 21 giugno 2026 presso l’Auditorium “Santo Nicolicchio”.
HollyShorts Film Festival (HSFF) is an annual short film festival showcasing the best and brightest short films from around the globe. The festival showcases the top short films produced 40 minutes or less.
The inaugural HollyShorts Film Festival took place in August '05 featured 23 short films from the U.S., UK, Poland, Canada and Thailand. The 2nd annual HollyShorts took place at Cinespace, Digital Supperclub in Hollywood, CA and featured 53 of the best short films from around the world. 13 different countries were represented. The third annual HollyShorts Film Festival took place August 10-12, 2007, drawing over $26,000 in prizes awarded. Best Short film honors went to "Songbird" Directed by John Thompson. Thompson was awarded a one week audio rental package courtesy of Action Audio and Visual, featuring sound and communications equipment rentals to utilize for his next film project. The festival featured Actor Adrian Grenier's short film "Euthanasia," a DJ performance from the legendary hip hop DJ Biz Markie and 57 short films in competition; three days of screenings, parties, insightful panels along with a slew of networking platforms for HollyShorts participants.
The 4th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival took place August 7-10, 2008 in Hollywood with top honors of Best Short Film going to “Bloom” directed Lance Larson. Larson was awarded $2000 VFX package courtesy of Clifton Post for his next project. The Best Student Short honors went to David Jibladze, for his short film “Beholden.” Jibladze took home a 5-day HVX-200, HD Camera rental package courtesy of Martini Crew Booking. Best Director went to Benedict Campbell for his short film “Lloyd Neck.” Best Director, Best Student and Best Short awards took home free Hollywood Screenwriter software from Write Brothers courtesy of Haydenfilms.
The festival’s awards ceremony and closing night reception took place in Hollywood, following a star-studded opening night celebration at the Egyptian Theatre, a music video celebration at Nacional in Hollywood and the festival’s short film competition screenings at Laemmle’s Sunset 5 Theatres. During the HollyShorts opening night ceremony on Thursday August 10, which featured appearances and short films from actors Jessica Biel, David Arquette and Josh Brolin, the festival awarded legendary filmmaker David Lynch the 2008 HollyShorts Visionary Award; Oscar winner Paul Haggis with the 2008 HollyShorts Outstanding Achievement in film award and fast-rising actress Paula Garces with the 2008 HollyShorts Future Star award.
At the HollyShorts inaugural music video competition, the festival awarded two winners for Best Music Video, “La Chica Y Su Bolsa” Directed by Daniel Campos and “Good Morning Herr Horst” Directed by Lovisa Inserra. The music video Audience choice winner went to “Temporarily In Love” Directed by Randy Scott Slavin. All HollyShorts film winners took home a free film distribution kit from Film Specific and one year premium membership to Film Specific. Winners also received free filmmaker software packages from HollyShorts sponsor Showbiz Software and will receive Stash DVD’s from sponsor Stash Media.
The 5th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival® (August 6-13, 2009) took place in Hollywood and featured a star studded, Red Carpet Opening Night Reception event at the Directors Guild of America (DGA). The festival featured participation from industry heavyweights including: Demi Moore, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Kirsten Dunst, Eli Roth, Darren Lew, Jason Biggs , Carter Smith and David Prior. The week-long festival featured screenings at the DGA, Laemmle's Sunset 5 Theatre in Hollywood and a number of industry panels and receptions at the to venues in the city.
The 6th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival® took place August 5-12, 2010 in Hollywood and featured a major opening night reception, week-long screenings of short films and feature films in Hollywood, high level industry panels, keynotes, awards and receptions for the community and filmmakers. Grand prizes were awarded for Best Short and Best Director courtesy of Company 3 valued at $20,000. Openfilm also sponsored the festival and screened their top 5 finalists for their $250,000 Get It Made Competition, at the fest. James Caan attended the opening night ceremonies and named the finalists.
The 7th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival wrapped last night with a standing room only awards ceremony at the Geisha House in Hollywood live-streamed courtesy of Dyal Productions and hosted by Actress Sheila Shah. Audience choice winners from each program will be announced later this weekend. The HollyShorts Best Overall Short Film prize, which wins a $10,000 in post production and finishing services package from Company 3, went to “Mrs. Peppercorn’s Magical Reading Room” by Mike Le Han. The HollyShorts Best Director Award which wins a $10,000 post production and finishing services package from Company 3, went to Christian Swegal, Director of “Stasis.”
Continuing the tradition of growth, the 8th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival opened at the world famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd to over 900 guests. The evening was capped off by the HollyShorts Visionary Award being given to Joe Carnahan.
The fest took place all week at the Chinese Theatre and concluded with over $50,000 in prizes and awards being given out to winners selected out of 341 projects in competition. Highlights include:

The 8th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival had the most attendance in the festival’s history. Highlights include an opening night ceremony at the history Chinese Theatre that drew nearly 1,000 attendees and fest screenings, panels and post receptions taking place in venues throughout Hollywood during the entire week. Each HollyShorts 2012 winner receives a 1st look distribution deal with the ShortsHD television channel.

The 9th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival (www.hollyshorts.com) came to a wrap with 1,000 attendees celebrating the festival’s Awards ceremony celebration at the Roosevelt Hotel Ballroom and lobby hosted by Digital LA’s Kevin Winston. The HollyShorts Best Short Film Grand Prize went to Mitsuyo Miyazaki for her short film Tsuyako. With the prize, Miyazaki takes home a $10,000 post-production and finishing services prize from Company 3. She also wins an all expense paid trip to Wellington New Zealand courtesy of Starnow to show her film there. Also taking home a $10,000 post-production prize from Company 3 for the Best Director Category was Sacha Feiner for Un Monde Meilleur (A Better World). The short film Sahasi Chori by Erin Galey took home two HollyShorts Awards, one for Best Producer and the Women in Film Director’s Award, garnering her a $5000 camera package courtesy of Martini Crew Booking.. The Method Studios Best VFX Prize went to Peter Szewczyk for Our Lady of Lourdes. With the win, Method awarded Peter with a $10,000 post prize.
The Panavision Future Filmmaker went to Karaoke! By Andrew Renzi. Panavision awarded Andrew with a $10,000 prize.

Fest Sets Dates for 10th Annual Anniversary Edition
During the celebration the festival set it’s dates for next year’s festival, it’s 10th Anniversary edition. The 10th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival and Film Conference/Film Market will take place August 14-23, 2014 in Hollywood. The 9th edition of the HollyShorts Film Festival featured over 12,000 attendees with 8 days of screenings, daily networking events, panels and seminars during the HollyShorts Film Conference and Awards. 2013 Visionary Award honoree Matthew Modine closed the festival with the theatrical premiere of his collection of short films at the TCL Chinese Theatre.
The 10th Annual HSFF and Film Conference/Film Market took place August 14-23 at the world famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood and the 2nd annual HollyShorts Film Conference took place at the Roosevelt Hotel. 2014 Overall Best Short and Best Director will receive $10,000 each for post production work courtesy of Company 3. The 2014 winners of Best Music Video, Best Cinematography, and Best Commercial will each receive $5,000 for post production work courtesy of Company 3. 2014 Best Student film and Best Female Director winners will receive a $10,000 camera rental packages courtesy of Martini Crew Booking. The 2015 11th annual HollyShorts Film Festival and Film Conference/Market took place over 10 days August 13-22 2015 at the TCL Chinese Theatres and Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, with Best Short Film, a $15,000 cash prize courtesy of ZYPE being awarded to SHOK.
The 12th annual HSFF took place August 11-20th 2016 at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres. Award winners participated in our academy qualifying theatrical run.

La missione del Festival è quella di trovare e sostenere studi e club per bambini/giovani, impegnati nella creatività cinematografica e televisiva, bambini di talento; sviluppo del cinema e della televisione per bambini/giovani in Ucraina.
Gli obiettivi del Festival sono:
— l'instaurazione e lo sviluppo di contatti tra studi per bambini/giovani, lo scambio di esperienze e l'ulteriore sviluppo professionale dei partecipanti;
— comunicazione al grande pubblico di opere e progetti interessanti ed eccezionali provenienti da diversi paesi, presentazione delle migliori pratiche globali nello sviluppo dell'industria cinematografica e televisiva per bambini/giovani;
— l'allestimento di piattaforme creative e di comunicazione per scambiare esperienze e presentare nuovi progetti durante il Festival e tra i tempi del Festival;
— sviluppo personale creativo, educazione dei valori morali e attivismo sociale;
— richiamare l'attenzione delle organizzazioni governative, non governative e degli enti commerciali sulle questioni relative allo sviluppo della creatività dei bambini/giovani dello schermo, sui processi di formazione della personalità attraverso la ricezione di informazioni trasmesse dai mass media elettronici, sulle esigenze dei club creativi per bambini/giovani, lo sviluppo di bambini di talento e il loro futuro.
Il Festival si svolge tra televisione per bambini/giovani, animazione, studi cinematografici e radiofonici, club, gruppi e autori individuali, emittenti televisive e radiofoniche ed enti di produzione creativa, registi e centri di produzione, che producono programmi e film per bambini e giovani.
Cinefilia Tanguera è un Festival Itinerante & Internazionale del Cortometraggio legato a TANGO, non competitivo.
Il nostro obiettivo primario è promuovere il tango e il cinema, da una prospettiva originale senza diffusione e promozione in tutto il mondo, così come le opere di cortometraggi e documentari sull'identità del tango in tutti i sensi.

Il 35° Message to Man International Festival di documentari, cortometraggi, film d'animazione e sperimentali si svolgerà dal 17 al 25 ottobre 2025 a San Pietroburgo, in Russia.
Nel corso degli anni, il Festival ha ospitato personaggi illustri del cinema mondiale, tra cui Werner Herzog, Ulrich Seidl, Claude Lanzmann, Isabelle Huppert, Fanny Ardant, Agnès Varda, Mira Nair, Paolo Sorrentino, Alan Berliner, Eric Roberts, Jonathan Rosenbaum, Abdellatif Kechiche, Udo Kier e molti altri.
Con una storia che abbraccia tre decenni di sviluppo cinematografico, Message to Man è stata fondata nel 1989 a Leningrado dal regista Mikhail Litvyakov, che ora è presidente onorario del Festival.
Nel 2010, Alexei Uchitel, famoso regista di documentari e lungometraggi, ha assunto il ruolo di presidente del Festival.
Il programma del Festival ruota attorno a tre competizioni: internazionale, nazionale e sperimentale, e offre una piattaforma per lungometraggi e cortometraggi in lizza per il Grand Prix del Festival. Message to Man attira costantemente migliaia di appassionati di cinema a San Pietroburgo ogni anno.
Nel 2024, il Festival ha attirato oltre 10.000 spettatori e i suoi programmi in concorso e fuori concorso hanno visto la partecipazione di circa 200 film provenienti da tutto il mondo.

Over the years and with the support of multiple public and private entities, CINEFIESTA became one of the most important Short Film Festivals in America, and it would not be an exaggeration to say that it is one of worldwide relevance.
International Green Film Week was officially approved by SGAPPRFT (State Administration of Press Publication Radio Film and Television). Its mission is “to carry the memories via films, to protect the future via cameras”. It is a large-scale film culture event held by Chinese filmmakers to raise awareness of animal, nature and environment protection. In the Film Week, we have discussed new topics such as “Green Films Hatching”, “Green Cinema Screening”, “Green Culture Inheritance”, established a platform for international green film communication and cooperation, and recommended excellent green films and talents all over the world.
Since 2007, we have successfully hosted 7 sessions of the only animal and nature themed film festivals in China. We have gained the support from 16 countries, collected more than 2000 films from over 100 countries, and over 1000 celebrities and experts have joined our events. We have hosted special Chinese screening film sessions in USA, Canada, France, Finland and etc. We are an important force among the other film festivals in Asia.

It takes place annually with live screenings and parallel events on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Cyprus but also with various partnerships at Athens, Cannes, New York and Los Angeles.
Cyprus International Film Festival (CYIFF) is under the umbrella of Cultural International Festivals -a non-profit arts organization dedicated to promoting and supporting independent films and filmmakers that embody diversity, innovation and uniqueness of vision-. The main location of the event is Nicosia the capital of Cyprus. The festival celebrates once more the rising film stars and several artistic events will take place during the festival. The Pegasus Cinema Lab workshop is very popular and we produce a short film during the Festival which will be screened at the Awards Ceremony. A Table Read with chosen scripts is held during the festival.

History: The festival was inaugurated on March 23, 2006 by the Cypriot Minister of Education and Culture Mr Pefkios Georgiades and was held in three cities, Larnaca, Limassol and Nicosia with the cooperation of K-Cineplex.
The Cyprus International Film Festival is the biggest of artistic high value independent cinema event of the whole region, spilling over Cyprus boundaries and spreading over the whole region with repercussions reaching worldwide. CYIFF is the first internationally oriented film festival which offers new and upcoming directors in multiple sectors of entertainment (such as feature films, short films, animations, music videos, dance, experimental films and video art) the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of a jury of internationally acclaimed cinema experts, directors and actors. CYIFF has a competitive section.
Films produced the last 36 months, by emerging directors are selected for the screening program.
-Women filmmakers (director and/or producer) can submit their film to compete for the Aphrodite Cinematic Award. There is no restriction regarding the production year, the genre of the film in this specific category.
-"50/50" is a category with film credits 50% men and 50% women. No restriction in genre.

La decima edizione di PerSo — Perugia Social Film Festival si svolgerà a Perugia dal 27 al 29 settembre e dal 3 all'8 ottobre 2024.
«Concetto». Il Festival descrive la complessità del nostro mondo attraverso film e storie che parlano di noi e che sono toccanti, profondi e stimolanti. Film importanti e di alta qualità vengono selezionati dai più famosi festival internazionali e presentati dai loro autori e protagonisti. PerSo è un festival in cui il pubblico e gli artisti, registi famosi e giovani emergenti, possono incontrarsi e condividere esperienze. È un festival di dialogo su cinema, questioni sociali, ricerca artistica, divulgazione e intrattenimento.
«Il Festival a colpo d'occhio». Una città, quattro sale cinematografiche, sei categorie di concorso, il PerSo Lab volto a sviluppare professionalmente giovani registi e sostenere nuove produzioni, il PerSo Award (anteprime italiane) e i Masterpieces (i migliori documentari dell'anno), i film proiettati nel carcere di Perugia-Capanne, gli eventi dedicati al mondo della psichiatria e dei documentari sonori, il PerSo Off, che si riferisce a concerti, eventi e incontri.
Ogni edizione offre più di 50 eventi a ingresso gratuito e accoglie 70 ospiti: registi, produttori, giudici, celebrità, membri dello staff e volontari.
PerSo FF è organizzato da Realmente Ngo, in collaborazione con la Fondazione «La Città del Sole» — Onlus, nell'affascinante città medievale di Perugia.
Il Museo Romano di Oiasso e il Comune di Irun organizzano il Festival Internazionale del Cinema Archeologico della Bidasoa.
L'obiettivo del Festival è presentare l'archeologia al grande pubblico, attraverso la diffusione di materiale audiovisivo frutto del lavoro svolto dagli archeologi, assicurando la promozione e la diffusione di questi film.
Il Festival è celebrato dal 2001 e dal 2004 ha quattro premi: il Gran Premio del Festival, il Premio speciale del pubblico, il Premio ai valori educativi e il Premio Arkeolan per il contributo alla scienza. Dal 2006 fa parte di Fedarcine, la rete europea di festival cinematografici archeologici.
Cartoon Club – Festival Internazionale del Cinema d’Animazione, del Fumetto e dei Games, giunto alla sua quarantunesima edizione, è uno dei festival più conosciuti nel panorama italiano.
È una vetrina importante per tutte le opere di animazione, con speciale rilievo per i cortometraggi – fiction, didattica, sperimentazione, computer grafica – e con una sezione tutta dedicata alla letteratura a fumetti: Riminicomix.
Il Festival presenta concorsi per cortometraggi in animazione in varie sezioni:
PREMIO CARTOON CLUB, per cortometraggi d’animazione realizzati da registi professionisti e case di produzione. La giuria del Festival selezionerà 20 opere per concorrere al Premio e inserirà le rimanenti nella sezione Panorama Cartoon Club.
PREMIO SIGNOR ROSSI, per cortometraggi d’animazione realizzati dagli studenti delle scuole secondarie, dei corsi universitari e delle scuole di cinema d’animazione. La giuria del Festival selezionerà 20 opere per concorrere al Premio e inserirà le rimanenti nella sezione Panorama Signor Rossi.
PREMIO CARTOON KIDS, tra i film partecipanti alle due sezioni (Premio Cartoon Club e Premio Signor Rossi) la direzione del Festival selezionerà, a propria discrezione, alcuni cortometraggi d'animazione destinati a un target infantile. Tra questi film una giuria composta da soli bambini decreterà il vincitore.
PANORAMA INTERNAZIONALE, sezione non competitiva per cortometraggi d’animazione europei ed extra-europei.
PREMIO CARTOON JR, in un'apposita sezione il Festival presenta anche cortometraggi d'animazione realizzati nell'ambito di progetti o laboratori per bambini, in Italia e all'estero.
Inoltre, il festival offre:

- progetti educativi e sociali;
- attività didattiche nelle scuole;
- una tra le più frequentate e divertenti Cosplay Convention d’Italia.

Il festival si svolge a Rimini, in diverse location, dal centro storico fino al mare, durante il mese di luglio.
Il Sedicicorto International Film Festival è un festival dedicato ai cortometraggi nato nel 2004. Da allora, si tiene ogni anno all'inizio di ottobre nel centro storico di Forlì.
The Short Film Slam è un concorso bimestrale presentato da The Madlab Post che si concentra sulla fornitura di una piattaforma per i registi emergenti e affermati per mostrare il loro lavoro. Ogni round, una selezione di fino a dodici cortometraggi sarà proiettata per il pubblico locale che potrà votare per il loro film preferito. Il film più votato alle proiezioni live sarà dichiarato «Movie of the Month» nel mese successivo. I film «in concorso» più votati di ogni sala di proiezione live e online passeranno al round finale. Mexico City Independent Film Fest cerca di diventare un luogo dove pubblico, registi, produttori, critici e altri professionisti dell'industria cinematografica possono scambiarsi opinioni diverse e attivare luoghi espositivi alternativi nella capitale del paese.
