Ancora una volta abbiamo l'onore di invitarvi a far parte del nostro festival per il quale cerchiamo film di qualsiasi durata, tema o origine che, abbracciando gli strumenti del cinema reale, rappresentino diversi punti di vista sull'esperienza umana contemporanea.
In questa versione siamo ancora una volta uno spazio faccia a faccia, che restituisce i nostri cuori ai corpi collettivi del deserto. AricaDoc è nato come un percorso per esplorare alternative alla concorrenza e alla mercificazione che le logiche industriali impongono alle arti cinematografiche.
Promuovere un incontro sensibile e politico basato sulla ricerca attiva di nuovi modi per percepire il nostro rapporto con il mondo che ci circonda.
Siamo profondamente grati a tutti coloro che si sono uniti alle comunità di spettatori del festival provenienti da territori lontani, e pensiamo a loro che almeno una parte del programma sarà disponibile su una piattaforma di visualizzazione online, accessibile dal Perù, dalla Bolivia e dal Cile.
Per quest'anno le attività si concentreranno tra il 3 e il 12 ottobre. Essendo questo bando aperto dal 26 giugno al 27 luglio, tramite FESTHOME.

DocsValparaíso International Documentary Film Festival is part of the DocsBarcelona's 3 festivals network that takes place in the cities of Barcelona, Medellín and Valparaíso. The production and development of DocsValparaíso is leaded by the SurDocs team that produced a very important festival in the south of Chile (Puerto Varas) for more than 12 years.
The main goal of the Valparaíso festival is to become one of the leading documentary festivals of Latin America in a medium term by developing the areas of expertise of DocsBarcelona: industry and professional training.
The Festival takes place in the cultural capital and most dynamic city of Chile; Valparaíso.
During the festival there will be screened national and international films, workshops, laboratories, conferences and professional exchange. We will explore new ways and formats to develop documentaries through the InterDocs meeting, a professional event designed to understand, disseminate, create, finance and exhibit the interactive documentary.
Every edition of DocsValparaíso has the goal of becoming a portrait of society while entertaining, awakening and enriching the dialog through the audience, media, institutions and professionals. We want to make the experience of watching documentaries a tool for social empowerment and change.

Dopo una pausa di due anni, lo Short Shorts Festival alla Whitespace Gallery di Atlanta GA torna per la sua settima iterazione e la seconda giuridata dall'artista di Atlanta e direttore della Welch School of Art & Design Joe Peragine. Il titolo, originariamente utilizzato in Short Shorts 2019, è un mash-up di alto (il Louvre, il museo dei musei) e basso (Jiffy Lube, fornitori del lavoro drive- through lubrificante il cui slogan è «lasciarsi preoccupare»). Il titolo racchiude l'ampio obiettivo estetico di questo festival. Qualsiasi budget, qualsiasi genere, qualsiasi storia è benvenuta, a condizione che ci dia una breve tregua da questi tempi incasinati in cui viviamo. Siamo aperti a lavori fuori gioco, non narrativo e sperimentale.
Short Shorts film festival avrà una proiezione live all'aperto alla Whitespace Gallery di Atlanta sabato 17 settembre 2022. Whitespace è una delle principali gallerie d'arte contemporanea ad Atlanta e nel sud-est, favorendo un ambiente immersivo di libertà di espressione, intimità e dialogo. Ci sarà anche una seconda proiezione live all'aperto nel campus della Georgia State University giovedì 22 settembre 2022.
I dipinti, la scultura e l'animazione di Joe Peragines sono stati presentati in gallerie, spazi d'arte contemporanea e musei negli Stati Uniti e a livello internazionale. Nato a Jersey City, New Jersey, Peragine vive con la sua famiglia ad Atlanta ed è attualmente direttore della Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design della Georgia State University.
All'8° Festival Internazionale del Documentario di Ierapetra, proietta, in concorso, i migliori nuovi documentari, provenienti dalla Grecia e da tutto il mondo, a Ierapetra, la città più meridionale d'Europa, crocevia di culture e continenti. Le giurie, costituite da personalità internazionali di calibro.
Dal 4° Festival Internazionale del Documentario Ierapetra ha accettato le candidature di GIOVANI ARTISTI E DIRETTORI Questo sarà proseguito e nel 5° Festival Internazionale del Documentario dei Premi Ierapetra. Il festival sarà dedicato alla cultura dagli albori della storia fino ad oggi. L'obiettivo è la proiezione di documentari che illustreranno la tradizione, la cultura, i costumi e le tradizioni, il folklore e la moderna civiltà industriale del nostro paese comune, l'Europa. L'obiettivo del Festival è quello di tenere il passo con gli sviluppi della tecnologia e del cinema, sia socialmente che commercialmente e di mantenere il suo carattere ecumenico.

WOW International Film Festival is an opportunity to meet filmmakers and producers from different nationalities.
Nišville Foundation organizer of famous Nišville Jazz Festival which was rated as one of best jazz festivals in a world according to British magazine The Guardian. Last 8 years within the festival was Nišville Movie stage that becomes Nišville Movie Summit this year.
Nišville Movie Summit wants to bring together filmmakers of short and long movies to present them on a summit. Through this summit, we want to fuse jazz music and movies.
Competition: 8 will include feature films, 12 documentaries, 16 feature films and 20 silent films.
Feature films and silent films will be limited to thirty minutes duration, while the documentaries will be shown regardless of the playing time. The criteria will be linked on the one hand the aesthetic level of these films, and on the other - their authentic connections with jazz music.
Silent films with musical accompaniment pianist: Films that have been produced by Academy students accompanied by pianists and other musicians (movies will be obtained through the academies and art faculties). Authors can submit scores or to pianists, following action film Music improvise on the spot. These films should encourage creativity among students who produce movies about existence, and with the musicians who have an obligation to music "follow" developments on the canvas. Films that have received significant international awards are to be presented at the festival, but two awards at the festival, in this respect, would not bring anything significantly new
Tokyo Sun Film festival attemtps to setting up in Tokyo to provide independent filmmakers with a platform that offers them interaction, networking and greater visibility.
Our screening takes place at the cinema chupki theatre in the tabata District, located in the north of Tokyo - a hip location in Tokyo for independent, counter-culture and progressive thinking.

CTRF2017, in it's 5th year, screens documentary films with themes of addiction, alcoholism and mental health - particularly films that include solutions to the various issues, or devoted to better understanding of the subject and challenging stigma surrounding the conditions. We will accept feature submissions but have limited space for these.

... It's the DaVinci International Film Festival (DIFF), but also one of the biggest question filmmakers will ask themselves as they browse and filter through dozens, if not hundreds of online film festivals — what makes DIFF unique from the others?
Leonardo da Vinci was the epitome of the divergent and creative mind, and so we aim to recognize much of the same within our industry.
Like many online festivals, we set out to honor the best in independent cinema from around the world, and have expanded our Award Categories to recognize many below-the-liners who largely go unnoticed and unrewarded. We seek the unsung heroes here at DaVinci. From best in editing, color correction, sound design, to theatrical creative and P&A; at DIFF, we shine the light on many of those who work silently, yet play an important role in getting your project to this very stage.
DIFF founders are intimately familiar with, and appreciate the full cycle of, independent filmmaking and the demands therein. From perils of financing, through the distribution of any given work — the process is often complex and unforgiving. Most of these creative projects can take a short lifetime to complete, and whether or not your work is ‘accepted’ at DIFF, we wish to congratulate and encourage you to keep pressing forward.
Another standout at DIFF, is that we are now offering development Options for our top three unscripted competition winners (per category), which will afford them an amazing opportunity to put their projects in front of networks and industry decision-makers.
FESTIVAL FORMAT
DIFF hosts a QUARTERLY online festival series for all of our categories. Winners of the "Vitruvian Man" Award will be invited to our Live Showcase Event at the end of the calendar year, and their shot at "The Leo" Award -- our most prized commendation. Films will screen at our red carpet event for family, friends, and industry professionals, followed by filmmaker Q&A and an After Party, where our sponsors will present "The Leo" to our winner.

Wheels and Fins is all about Action Sports and music, for our first year in 2017 we had submissions from 21 countries and 5 continents meaning we could bring the worldwide action sports community to one place and celebrate it with style!

A-TAR: International Festival of Film Schools is now accepting submissions from all colleges, universities and film institutes. It will screen shorts and feature films produced by film students and faculty.
A-TAR will take place from September 23 rd to September 27 th, 2019 in the city of Mexicali, Mexico.
Il Festival Internazionale dei Bambini e del Cinema Giovanile CALIBELULA, FICIJCALIBELULA - nasce attraverso un gruppo di amici che amano il cinema, che vedono la necessità di generare nuovi spazi espositivi e formativi, per un pubblico molto speciale che sia bambini e giovani.
Lo scopo è quello di formare il pubblico attraverso materiale audiovisivo cinematografico realizzato da e per bambini, giovani e adulti che promuove la risoluzione dei conflitti e la convivenza pacifico attraverso la costruzione di valori e principi.
Genera nuove alternative espositive che consolidano i processi di formazione e creazione espressi nella produzione e realizzazione audiovisiva, con comprensione e sensibilità critica, cercando con questo di coinvolgere fin dalla tenera età questa popolazione target attraverso il cinema come espressione artistica.
Questo Festival è un luogo di incontro per i registi, le loro opere e il pubblico dei bambini, nonché un punto di formazione per giovani, insegnanti e professionisti del territorio, rendendo il Festival un promotore di riflessione sui media audiovisivi e sul ruolo che giocano con i nostri figli.
The Icarus Film Festival has been a key piece in the creation of a Central American audiovisual movement, where the cultural integration of the region becomes a reality. Its execution requires an Organizing Committee with representation in each Central American country, in the Caribbean and in the United States, in charge of the realization of the National Icarus Festivals and the Icarus Central American Cinema Samples.
It is a project created and produced by Casa Comal, Art and Culture that is carried out in all mass media. It has cinemas, a TV program, a radio program and a newspaper.
The nominees and winners of the last edition of the International Icarus, constitute the main material that is projected in the national Icarus festivals. Six festivals are held in each country from Guatemala to Panama, between August and September of each year. Six Icarus Central American Film Samples are also held in Havana, Cuba and San Juan, Puerto Rico, New York and Miami in the United States, Buenos Aires and Vienna.
Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
Il Festival di Malaga, in collaborazione con l'Area per le pari opportunità del Comune di Malaga, persegue l'obiettivo di sostenere la presenza delle donne nella produzione cinematografica, creando spazi che rendano visibile il lavoro delle donne nel campo dell'audiovisivo, campo professionale in cui sono sottorappresentate, sia nella regia, nella produzione o nella scrittura di sceneggiature; favorendo l'industria cinematografica con i diversi punti di vista delle donne.
Per raggiungere questo obiettivo, l'Area per le pari opportunità terrà il suo «XXII FILM SHOW WOMEN ON STAGE», tra i mesi di ottobre e novembre 2024.
THE WOMEN ON STAGE FILM EXHIBITION è stata creata nel 2002 con l'obiettivo di discutere, attraverso l'organizzazione di cineforum, le disuguaglianze di genere esistenti nella nostra società e in altre società vicine, riflettendo sulle loro cause e sulle possibili strategie sociali per sradicarle.
Dal 2010, questo obiettivo di sensibilizzazione e visibilità si è aggiunto al sostegno della presenza delle donne nella produzione cinematografica, un'area in cui esiste un grande divario di genere, sfruttando il fatto che ogni giorno ci sono più donne interessate a sviluppare la propria carriera professionale. In questo campo, quindi, uno degli scopi della SEZIONE UFFICIALE WOMEN ON STAGE è la visibilità delle produzioni audiovisive realizzate da donne, e si ottiene dedicando le sessioni serali alla proiezione esclusiva di opere dirette, prodotte o sceneggiate da donne.
Seoul Metro International Subway Film Festival (SMIFF) introduce vari cortometraggi estremi a livello mondiale sui monitor della metropolitana di Seul e Barcellona e mira a contribuire a creare un ambiente culturale cosmopolita dove chiunque possa guardare film in diversi luoghi oltre le sale cinematografiche.
