About Stuff & Objective - The Student Film Festival (Stuff) is one of the few international film and arts festivals dedicated to budding filmmaker's with aims to provide young filmmakers with an authentic film festival experience, a valuable understanding of the film industry, and an opportunity to screen their movies on “the big screen.” The Festival seeks to nurture and showcase ability as well as the art of film making which encompasses aspects of the arts, culture, history, crafts, geography, cuisine & lifestyle in short what make us what we are. Stuff films and screenings are selected and hosted by filmmakers, professors, and other notable figures in the world of cinema.

The festival grows over the years & attracts filmmakers from across the India & across the world. The Stuff festival is renowned for its wide-ranging film selections from major institutions, independent and international filmmakers, this three-day extravaganza, consisting of indoor and outdoor red carpet film screenings, fashion, dance shows, workshops, and of course shopping stalls.
11th Kolkata Shorts International Film Festival 22 est une fusion de créativité cinématographique et de folie des cinéphiles de la belle ville de Calcutta. La ville de Calcutta est le centre du cinéma bengali, une destination culturelle et riche de nombreux cinéastes en herbe depuis le siècle dernier. L'objectif du festival est de donner de l'élan au court métrage et de favoriser la croissance de nouveaux cinéastes.
L'humble voyage du KSIFF a commencé en 2012 pour marquer les 100 ans de célébration du cinéma indien et pour saluer la contribution de l'industrie cinématographique bengali au développement du cinéma en Inde. Les éditions du festival de 2012 à 2021 ont connu un énorme succès avec la participation de toute l'Inde et de pays étrangers et sont le festival novateur en Inde et aujourd'hui très demandé par les jeunes cinéastes.
Le festival offre une plate-forme aux cinéastes aspirants et professionnels pour présenter leurs talents grâce à des opportunités de réseautage et de marketing dans l'industrie cinématographique. Le festival accueille également des master classes et un marché du court-métrage. L'objectif du festival est de créer une culture des courts-métrages, de promouvoir les futurs cinéastes, de développer des sources de revenus pour les courts métrages et de faire de la réalisation de courts métrages une entreprise commerciale.

THÈME LIBRE : à la différence de toutes nos expositions collectives, le cycle « Art of Freedom » se caractérise par l'absence de thème principal, laissant une liberté totale aux artistes, qui sont choisis en fonction de leur personnalité et de leurs contenus, afin qu'ils puissent proposer librement leur point de vue le plus personnel, sans crainte de préjugés ni de censure. Cela ne les empêche pas de s'inspirer librement de la liberté et de s'exprimer dans ce sens. Après tout, l'art, c'est la liberté, et la liberté est une valeur toujours menacée, qui nécessite une attention constante pour ne pas la perdre.

Who should submit?
KAFFNY invites filmmakers and artists of all backgrounds, from any country. Given our history, Korean, Korean-American and Korean – diaspora filmmakers are especially encouraged to share their works, but that is by no means required. Films from years 2017 and 2018 preferred.
What themes/topics/films are appropriate?
Any films, shorts, or documentaries which reflect the commonalities of humanity across cultural divides, highlight multi-cultural interaction, challenge existing narratives, or provide mirrors for people to reflect on their own culture through the experience of another.
2018 Theme: Conversations to Form The Future
Films which address topical themes of 2018 will be given additional consideration, including:

-#Metoo and themes of “Future is Female”
-Sustainability

Why do we host this festival?
The past eleven years of experience in telling Korean American stories helped KAFFNY to identify and find commonality with other stories at the intersection of all cultures. We are ready to evolve, with a new mission to identify unifying commonalities and bust cultural stereotypes by connecting voices through our shared experiences.
2017 KAFFNY Festival
2017’s festival, held on October 14th at the Wythe Hotel Cinema featured five distinct blocks of programming that approached the topic of Infinite Culture through specific lenses: INFINITE FOOD CONNECTION, INFINITE FASHION CONNECTION, WORLDWIDE KOREAN CONNECTION, INFINITE MIGRATION CONNECTION, and CRAZY, RICH ASIAN AMERICANS. Alongside the screening of 25 short films and two feature-length films, the audience engaged in meaningful discussions with the filmmakers during the moderated panel discussions.

Originally founded in 2006 as the Korean American Film Festival New York, our festival venues include: Wythe Hotel Cinema, Village East Cinemas, TheTimesCenter, SVA Theatre, Chelsea Clearview Cinemas, Skirball Center at NYU, Anthology Film Archives, as well as gallery and outdoor public spaces throughout New York City. Le Festival international du film de Fusagasugá (FICFUSA) vise à apporter aux habitants de Fusagasugá et de la région de Sumapaz de nouveaux écrans, points de vue et œuvres cinématographiques de haute qualité afin de promouvoir une réflexion critique sur les problèmes et les problèmes rencontrés par les femmes. Le Festival International du Film Black de Montréal veut offrir au public les plus belles et les plus étonnantes découvertes du cinéma Black tout en étant un lieu de débat des grands enjeux culturels, sociaux et socio-économiques. Le FIFBM veut privilégier un cinéma autre, un cinéma qui vient d’ici ou d’ailleurs et qui ne reçoit pas forcément l’éclairage des projecteurs, un cinéma inédit, qui émeut, qui sensibilise et qui surprend! Tout en abordant des sujets et en présentant des œuvres qui interpellent, qui provoquent, qui font sourire, qui laissent perplexe, qui choquent…

Le FIFBM diffuse les films et tient ses activités dans les 2 langues officielles du Canada – l’anglais et le français. Ses documents, matériels promotionnels et d’interprétation sont également bilingues. Certains films sont présentés soit en anglais ou en français dans certains cas.
Le festival international Luz del Desierto est un festival audiovisuel qui vise à promouvoir le cinéma dans le pays et à l'étranger. Le festival aura lieu en octobre avec une compétition pour les longs et courts métrages, qu'ils soient de fiction, d'animation ou de documentaires. Il y aura également des conférences et des ateliers.
A celebration of erotic art
The Reel Erotic Art Film Festival, an IMDb event, aims to celebrate the erotic arts by showcasing short and feature films that are sexual in nature stemming from around the world.
We are looking to showcase films that contain graphic descriptions of sexual activity and nudity but also has a set genre, a meaningful storyline and artistic value.
We are also accepting submissions for our erotic screenplay competition.
Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, celebrating its 26th Anniversary October 6th-October 15th is the oldest non-fiction festival in North America. HSDFF offers multiple awards categories, and is a designated Academy-Award© -qualifying festival for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Documentary Short Subject. LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) est la première vitrine d'expérimentation à Los Angeles dans les médias cinématographiques, vidéo et audio. Elle se concentre sur le cinéma d'avant-garde, d'art, indépendant et à faible budget, avec la cinquième édition qui aura lieu en juillet 2020 à Los Angeles.

Nous recherchons des films réalisés avec passion, obsession et dynamisme ; des films qui dépassent les attentes et le genre ; des films, des projets vidéo et audio qui cherchent à repousser les limites de la forme et du contenu acceptés. Un fort sens de la paternité est un must.

Our second edition of the Artculvid Film Festival will take place at San Francisco de Sales in Cundinamarca - Colombia, where the Colombian and International short film will be exhibited and studied, also understood as a film, as a cinematographic work. Our festival will take place on the 1st and 2nd of December 2018.

The G Awards are a non-profit festival, promoted by the Department for Culture and Tourism of the City of Naples, for short movies, music videos, documentaries and cartoons organised by a very young passionate about cinema and video-maker. The purpose of the festival is to spread the cinematographic culture to people of all the ages and to make known works both by professional and young people, since it is also open to underage video-makers.

Discovery Film Festival : Festival international du film écossais pour jeunes publics

Le Discovery Film Festival en est maintenant à sa dix-neuvième année. Basé à Dundee Contemporary Arts, et en tournée vers des sites partenaires en Écosse, au Royaume-Uni et en Irlande, le festival projette des films du monde entier spécialement programmés pour le jeune public.
Le festival comprend trois week-ends passionnants de films, d'activités créatives et d'événements de gala, ainsi que deux semaines de projections et d'événements pour les écoles.
Discovery vise à développer de nouveaux publics pour les meilleurs films internationaux, à améliorer la littératie aux médias et à offrir aux jeunes publics un aperçu de la vie des enfants et des jeunes d'autres cultures. Le festival se déroule depuis 2004, date à laquelle il a été lancé en partenariat avec Dundee Education Development Department, Scottish Screen et DCA.
Le Discovery Film Festival est un projet DCA organisé par Mike Tait, producteur du festival et responsable du développement jeunesse du cinéma. Une équipe de jeunes ambassadeurs (âgés de 15 à 19 ans) travaille avec Mike pour programmer des films et donner des conseils sur la conception globale du festival. Une équipe d'enseignants et de consultants en éducation conseille le programme éducatif et crée des ressources pertinentes pour le programme d'excellence pour les classes visitant le festival.
