The Muma Patagonia International Audiovisual Festival will take place on October 28, 29 and 30 and will be held in person in Bariloche and virtually for the rest of the world. Only films directed by women and dissidents are admitted.
It will have the following sections:

- The woman of the 60s: A new look at the filmography of Coca Sarli
- Audiovisual narrative workshop for the elderly. This workshop will be given one month in advance so that the participants can put into practice the knowledge acquired and produce content that we will present during the festival.
- Creative writing workshop.
OBJECTIVES OF THE FESTIVAL
- Strengthen ties between distribution companies, producers and filmmakers in Patagonia.
- Know and recognize the narratives of women and dissidence from around the world and put them in dialogue with the public.
- Provide tools for professional training that contribute to the employment of women and dissidents in the Patagonian region.
- Generate a space for exchange with networks of audiovisual women from other parts of Latin America and the world.

REGULATION
2nd MUMA PATAGONIA AUDIOVISUAL FESTIVAL
ARTICLE 1
Made by the Network of Audiovisual Women of Patagonia Argentina, part of the RED FAP (network of audiovisual festivals of Patagonia), produced by the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA), with the support of the Secretariat of Culture of the province of Río Negro, the 2nd MUMA PATAGONIA Audiovisual Festival will take place online and in person in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, province of Rio Negro on October 28, 29 and 30, in the projection rooms of the Sarmiento and Carrilafquen Libraries of said city. This festival aims to strengthen ties between distribution companies, producers and filmmakers in Patagonia, learn about and recognize the narratives of women and dissidence from around the world and put them in dialogue with the public, provide tools for professional training with a gender perspective that contribute to the employment of women and dissidents in the Patagonian region and generate a space for exchange with women's audiovisual networks from other parts of Latin America and the world.
ARTICLE 2
The registration of films in all categories is free for Argentine content and is open to national and international long, medium and short film productions of all genres made by women, dissidents and non-binary identities.
ARTICLE 3
The 2nd edition of the MUMA PATAGONIA Audiovisual Festival will include: International Feature Film Competition (4 feature films), International Short Film Competition (2 programs of 5 short films), Patagonian Competition.
ARTICLE 4
Each film may have up to 2 (two) screenings, including an additional one for the press, if so decided by the Festival authorities. Once the Festival has communicated the selection of a film and the producer or his representative has provided his consent, it cannot be withdrawn. Its producer or the designated representative must submit the requested film and promotional materials before the deadline, as indicated in ANNEX I of these Regulations.
These materials will be used for the catalogue, the website, the press, publicity and dissemination of the film's participation in the Festival. The films will be presented in the original language, subtitled if necessary.
ARTICLE 5
To present a film to the Festival selection, it is necessary to complete the steps detailed below:
a) Register through Festhome
b) Send a download link with password.
Registration closes on Monday, September 26, 2022.
The Festival offices are located at Juramento 102, San Carlos de Bariloche. This information is disclosed for the purposes that may correspond, but it is expressly clarified that the entire registration process will be exclusively online.
ARTICLE 6
The Selection Committee will recommend to the Festival authorities the films that, in the opinion of its members, should be chosen to be part of this edition of the Festival. The authorities will decide based on this proposal, selecting the works that respond to the objective of the Festival and have relevant and/or innovative artistic values, in order to form an Official Section compatible with the requirements of an International Competitive Festival.
ARTICLE 7
The organizers of the festival will designate the members of the juries for each section. Decisions will be made by absolute majority in the first two ballots and by relative majority in the following ones. Anyone who has any type of interest in the production or exploitation of a film in competition cannot be a jury. The members of the Jury firmly undertake not to publicly express their opinions regarding the films submitted for their consideration before the official proclamation of the awards.
ARTICLE 8
INTERNATIONAL FEATURE FILMS COMPETITION
National and international feature films participate. The productions must have been completed during the 12 (twelve) months prior to the start dates of the Festival.
The copies to be screened must necessarily have subtitles in Spanish if they are spoken in other languages. The following prizes will be awarded:
for Best Feature Film;
Special Jury Prize;
for Best Direction;
for Best Performance;
for Best Screenplay.
The Jury may award up to 2 (two) Special Mentions, indicating the motivation that makes those who obtain them worthy of those mentions. No film may receive more than 2 (two) prizes, and no prize may be declared void.
ARTICLE 9
INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILMS COMPETITION
Films that must have been completed during the 12 (twelve) months prior to the start dates of the Festival participate.
