Fundación Todo por el Cine, A.C., organizador del Festival Internacional Cine en el Campo, invita a realizadores de cortometrajes nacionales e internacionales a participar en el concurso que se llevará a cabo en la treceava edición del Festival Internacional Cine en el Campo (FICC) a celebrarse en los meses de octubre y noviembre, presentándose en comunidades rurales de la República Mexicana.
El FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL CINE EN EL CAMPO (FICC) promueve el diálogo entre las comunidades rurales de México y la producción cinematográfica en cortometraje, con la intención de generar nuevos circuitos, proyectando cine al aire libre.
Apoyamos la producción cinematográfica de cortometrajes que exploran las condiciones culturales y naturales en las que habita el ser humano, la diversidad cultural y su vínculo con la naturaleza. Asimismo, buscamos agentes de cambio e iniciativas originales que incentiven un cambio positivo al cuidado del medio ambiente y las tradiciones.
TEMA: “Sembrando conciencia”
Nos interesamos en todo tipo de temáticas medioambientales, así como el rescate y preservación de tradiciones. Buscamos darle difusión a mensajes que usualmente no reciben el alcance necesario y mucho menos en comunidades rurales donde exhibiciones culturales y artísticas están tristemente ausentes.

El LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) es el primer escaparate de experimentación en medios basados en cine, video y audio de Los Ángeles. Se centra en el cine vanguardista, art-house, independiente y de bajo presupuesto, con la quinta edición que tendrá lugar en julio de 2020, en Los Ángeles.
Nuestro programa ofrece un lugar para que los cineastas reinventen y exploren nuevos enfoques, fomenten nuevas formas de arte mediático y construyan una audiencia para este tipo de trabajo. Nuestro objetivo es presentar una amplia gama de trabajos explorando las múltiples definiciones e interpretaciones del concepto de «underground».

Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
SiembraFest is a biennial and itinerant Colombian film festival that tours different municipalities in the department of Cundinamarca, facilitating the circulation and appropriation of national film productions, while providing tools for rural communities to actively participate in the construction of their own image.
Through its actions it generates emotional experiences that transform the public. The Festival de Cine Colombiano al Campo is a high-impact initiative that contributes to the generation of alternative exhibition scenarios and the development of new audiences in rural areas of the country, intervening in community spaces that promote the encounter of cinema with art and popular culture.
As part of our effort to contribute to the growth and consolidation of the creative industries, training activities will be held on topics of interest, promoting the meeting of the audiovisual and film sector in the regions.
The Festival de Cine Colombiano al Campo is a space for the promotion, diffusion and support of cinematographic works of national production. Any audiovisual work that represents the natural, social and cultural values of rural communities in Colombia is a film with the particular seal of SiembraFest. Works that address the traditions, practices, popular knowledge, manifestations of daily life or problems that affect rural communities in Colombia, through fiction, documentary and animation, may be submitted.
We value the creative freedom of national filmmakers and filmmakers, which is why our selection will include films of any format, length, genre or technique, as long as they are productions of quality, relevance and cinematographic pertinence. The viewing and deliberation of the films will be in charge of the Programming Committee, constituted by a group of cinephiles, experts in cinematography and subjects related to rurality who share criteria with the artistic direction of SiembraFest.

Fiaticorti nació en 2000 a partir de la idea de algunos miembros del «Proyecto Juvenil» de Istrana.
El nombre del evento se eligió por dos razones: en primer lugar, la «falta de aliento» (fiato corto) es el efecto de un esfuerzo físico de corta duración (la misma duración que en los cortometrajes). Además, una película que puede durar hasta 20 minutos es capaz de transmitir emociones fuertes al espectador, dejándolo «sin aliento».
En un principio, Fiaticorti se condensaba en una sola velada, es decir, en una noche de premios. Sin embargo, a partir de la cuarta edición, el formato se ha ido mejorando y el festival se desarrolla en cuatro escenarios, durante los cuales se presentan las mejores obras.
En 2006 se creó la sección FiativeNeti, para premiar a los realizadores de cortometrajes de la región del Véneto.
El año 2011 supuso un punto de inflexión para Fiaticorti. El veterano director artístico Gianni Billio no solo cedió el testigo a Bartolo Ayroldi Sagarriga (el nuevo director artístico), Andrea Grespan y Simone Perotto, sino que la calidad de las películas en competición aumentó drásticamente, junto con el número de participantes extranjeros, principalmente de Francia, Gran Bretaña, Rumanía y España.
Pero la identidad del festival, vinculada a la cultura de los cineclubs italianos de los años setenta, siempre ha sido la misma. Su objetivo es transmitir la cultura y la pasión por los cortometrajes. Por eso, la dirección artística ha optado por no acompañar el festival con eventos de otro tipo.

Damos la bienvenida a cualquier género cómico: negro, bofetón, irreverente, romántico, político, subversivo, absurdo... etc. Y debe tener un sentido del humor excelente.
Stonefair International Film Festival is an online and live film festival, headquartered in Piatra-Neamt, Romania. Stonefair IFF is committed to supporting access to film in all of Piatra-Neamt community as well as supporting young film makers in their education.
The festival runs in 3 quarters, selections and screenings being made every 4 months, the third edition is due to take place on the 8th of May, 2017.
There will be 16 categories and Best Film will receive the Stonefair IFF Trophy, the winning films will be screened at the "G. T. Kirileanu" Public Library.
The "G. T. Kirileanu" Public Library has an important role in community with 85.000 inhabitants. The "G.T. Kirileanu" Neamt County Public Library co-ordinates the activity of the public libraries of our county and furthers the Piatra-Neamt Municipality and Neamt county inhabitants interests in reading, study, information, film, education and recreation.

Blacklight Film + Video Series is currently seeking submissions for the upcoming Trouble Found Me film screening on October 16th, 2016 at Sediment Arts in Richmond, VA.
We are seeking narrative short films that touch on subjects of broken innocence //shattering of the adolescent bubble. Bad Dreams. Bad Ideas. Poor Execution. Themes of the paranormal welcome, given the season!
Submissions must be under 15 minutes in length and all genres are accepted. Work can be traditional or experimental and can be created in any film/video medium (VHS, Super 8, DSLR, etc.). Multiple submissions are accepted.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: October 9th, 2016
