It is the hands-down the best opportunity to view the best short films from around the globe. Our selections has included world premieres from 5 continents, academy award winning short films, Sundance award winning films, and other countless and award winning film premieres.

We strive to show and bring out all the local talent to support each other as well as support all the filmmakers from out of town showcasing their work. The festival has for 5 years been a launching pad for cross promoting what Philly has to offer the film world and what the world has to offer for the budding Philadelphia Film Community.
Event runs for 4 hours, with a big networking party going on in the lobby area. News outlets and press are active at this event. Celebrities from all walks of life have shown up at this event. We are only accepting online screeners. There are a variety of ways to submit your screener to us (YouTube, Vimeo, or through one of the online submission services). This will SAVE YOU MONEY!

International Open Film Festival (IOFF) is an initiative to explore the film with no border and it`s an independent film festival. International jury from different countries will score the films along with audiences online. If selected, entrants agree and understand, that their film shall screen in either or both, our live festival event and/or our online festival event that utilizes our virtual theater platform. Entrants also understand that through the virtual theater platform films cannot be copied, downloaded, or reproduced by any virtual theater attendee, nor can the html code of any film be used in or on any other site, and that each and every film is completely secure and safe from theft due to the technology of the virtual theater that is unique to our system and is unlike any other utilized by any online festival throughout the world.

Form”, inviting entries of visual works in one of four main competition categories.

今年のフェスティバルと上映会は、世界中のアーティストからキュレーションされた作品の上映を含む、MONO NO AWAREの第20回年次フェスティバルの一環となります。
応募作品は寄付によるスライディングスケール（0～20ドル、希望に応じて支払う）で、モノ・ノー・アウェアは出演アーティストに旅費や宿泊費を提供することができます。
映画祭は非営利の映画芸術団体「モノ・ノー・アウェア」が主催しています。
MONO NO AWAREは、スーパー8mm、16mm映画制作、2Dアニメーション、3Dパペットアニメーション、インディペンデント映画制作、ハンドメイド処理、代替処理、非毒性処理技術、フィルムプリザベーション、ハンドメイドエマルジョン、アドバンスドスーパー16mmフィルムメイキング、訪問映画製作者が主導するさまざまな特別ワークショップなど、年間を通して地域社会にアナログ映画製作ワークショップを開催しています。 教育活動の延長として、この組織はアナログ映画製作機材のレンタル、スティーンベックのフラットベッド編集設備、JKまたはOxberryの光学印刷施設を一般に公開しているほか、カラーフィルムやモノクロフィルムの輸入/流通も行っています。 アウトリーチ・プログラムを通じて、米国内の数多くの大学、映画祭、機関で同じワークショップを開催しています。 今年は、ジャパン・ソサエティ（ニューヨーク州マンハッタン）、オーククリフ映画祭（テキサス州ダラス）、クイーンズミュージアム（ニューヨーク州クイーンズ）でワークショップを開催しました。今年の8月は、トーマス・エジソン国立公園を訪れ、歴史あるブラック・マリア（ニュージャージー州ウェストオレンジ）で、リイマジニング・キネトスコープのワークショップを開催します。 MONO NO AWAREでは、来場した映画製作者によるコネクティビティ・スルー・シネマというタイトルの上映シリーズを毎月上映しています。最近では、アンソロジー・フィルム・アーカイブスでステファニー・グレイの作品による3日間の回顧展「スーパー・エイト・ポエティクス」の共同上映会を開催しています。 また、映画の歴史、理論、映画製作の技術に関するテキストや出版物に焦点を当てたリファレンスライブラリーも開設しました。

MIFF has been established in 2010 by the Malatya Governership and organised by the Malatya Apricot Research-Develeopment and Promotion Foundation. Every year in November Festival brings together the audience with the most qualified productions throughout the world and also, besides the competition excitement it has been a full cinema week with many events for five years.
MIFF has hosted more than 2000 cinema proffessional from Turkey and abroad so far. Some of the best known guests who have been in Malatya for the festival are Nastassja Kinski (2014), Jim Stark (2013), Rade Serbedzija (2013), John Sayles (2012) Otar Iosseliani (2010).
7th Malatya International Film Festival will open its curtains for the cinegoers and residents in Malatya on 04.11.2016 by the organization of Malatya Governorate and Malatya Apricot Research, Development and Promotion Foundation. Besides providing an opportunity for the audiences to meet with the qualified productions from all over the world, the festival will provide an enjoyable week full of activities. This exhausting but pleasant festival marathon will end after the Award Ceremony which will take place on the 10th November, Thursday. During the Festival, approximately 150 films - 65 feature films, together with the documentary and short films - will meet with the cinegoers. The Festival programme which is composed of the current films, as well as the last productions of the qualified film-makers and the first movies of the newly discovered young film-makers, will meet with the audiences in Malatya. The festival with its previous success on the international features and national short films competitions, has included the national features competition to its festival programme in order to provide moral and material support to the cinema sector.
