CORTISONICI RAGAZZI: Audiovisual products created in middle and high schools and by associations, social cooperatives, and organizations working in the educational field with groups of young people and adolescents. The competition is also open to works created independently by informal groups of young videomakers or individual authors under the age of 19.
CORTISONICI RAGAZZI ACADEMY: audiovisual products produced in universities, film schools and post-diploma training institutions that operate in the audiovisual sector.

CORTISONICI RAGAZZI ACADEMY 2026
As part of the 23rd edition of the CORTISONICI Short Film Festival, the Cortisonici Association is organizing the event CORTISONICI RAGAZZI 2026, which will take place in Varese on May 15 and 16, 2026. Within this framework, the third edition of the CORTISONICI RAGAZZI ACADEMY competition will be presented to the public.
1. Registration for the CORTISONICI RAGAZZI ACADEMY competition is open to audiovisual works produced within Universities, Film Schools, and post-diploma training institutions operating in the audiovisual field.
2. Only works produced after January 1, 2025, as part of school projects and created by individual students or groups of students enrolled in the training institutions listed in Art. 1 may participate. Works may be on any subject. Various audiovisual formats may be used: fiction films, commercials, music videos, video art, reportage, and documentaries.
3. All submitted works must comply with the following requirements, otherwise they will be excluded:
• have a maximum duration of 15 minutes, including opening and closing credits (NO EXCEPTIONS ALLOWED);
• be accompanied by a duly completed entry form (see attachment);
• not constitute advertising content;
• be in Italian or subtitled in English.
Any works containing racist or defamatory content will be automatically rejected.
4. Participation in the event is free of charge, with no registration fees required.
5. The entry form must be fully completed and signed. In the entry form, the applicant must certify:
a) that they are the sole rights holder of the film;
b) that they have read and fully accept these regulations.
If the usage rights holders of the film are more than one, each must complete a separate entry form. One form must be completed for each submitted work.
The entry form must be sent at the same time as the work. After being printed, fully completed, and signed, the form must be scanned and attached (in JPG or PDF format) to the email containing the link to the work (see paragraph 7).
6. Each student or group of students may participate with a maximum of two works. By signing the entry form, applicants certify that they hold the necessary image release permissions for the people appearing in the videos.
7. Submission of materials is carried out exclusively online. If the works are already uploaded on video platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo, a direct link to the video may be sent (if selected, a high-resolution video file will be required).
Otherwise, works must be uploaded to https://festhome.com/festival/cortisonici-ragazzi-amp-academy or, alternatively, sent via a file-sharing service such as www.swisstransfer.com or www.wetransfer.com. An email containing the relevant link must be sent to ragazzi@cortisonici.org.
8. Works must be submitted using the above methods by Tuesday, March 31, 2026 (the sending date of the email or upload will serve as proof).
9. The organizers are not responsible for damage to or loss of materials during submission or during the event.
10. Authors are responsible for the content of their respective submitted works and for any distribution within them of non-original music protected by copyright, as well as original music and/or images.
11. Submitted works will not be returned and will become part of the CORTISONICI Association’s archive. They may be shown for cultural and educational purposes, without profit.
12. After a preselection carried out by a committee appointed by the association, the short films will be presented to the public during CORTISONICI RAGAZZI 2026. The works in competition will be evaluated by a jury appointed by the Cortisonici Association. At the end of the event, a winner will be chosen and awarded a special prize. The organizing committee reserves the right to award special mentions and additional prizes.
13. The authors of the selected works will be notified by email or by phone by Thursday, April 30, 2026. By that date, the complete list of selected works will also be available on the festival’s website.
14. The organizing committee reserves the right to suspend or modify the event should it deem it necessary.
15. Pursuant to Art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, personal data will be processed solely for the purposes of organizing the CORTISONICI RAGAZZI 2026 event and any subsequent events or initiatives organized or promoted by the Cortisonici Association.
