The registration of a film in the competition selection process of the festival indicates the full acceptance of these bases. iAniMagic 2017 requires its participants to submit 2D animations varying in length from 15 to 120 seconds, created either alone or in a team of up to five, using any software to express their thoughts on the theme: the Future. “Technology is the future. Since its inception in 2011, iAniMagic has received over 680 submissions from over 70 nations, given over 20,000USD in prizes, and hosted many reputable industry professionals as judges. “Among this year’s judges is Gabe Swarr, Supervising Producer in Development at Nickelodeon Animation Studios. Swarr has worked on projects such as the movies Kung Fu Panda, and Casper Meets Wendy, as well as various episodes of the Jetsons. Tokyo Sun Film festival attemtps to setting up in Tokyo to provide independent filmmakers with a platform that offers them interaction, networking and greater visibility.
Our screening takes place at the cinema chupki theatre in the tabata District, located in the north of Tokyo - a hip location in Tokyo for independent, counter-culture and progressive thinking.

映画選択の問題

a) The filmmakers must be:
- Regular students of careers linked to the audiovisual area of Chilean universities.
- Students graduated or qualified during the years 2016 and 2017, of careers linked to the audiovisual area of Chilean universities.
b) Participating short films must be national, that have been realized in some Chilean university after the 1 of January of the year 2015.
c) Works that have been part of the pre-selection and / or competition stage of previous versions of UDLA Festoc may not participate.
d) All participating works must be spoken, dubbed or subtitled in Spanish.
e) The participating works must have a maximum duration of 30 minutes, with credits included.

It is designed to be the bridge between independent filmmakers and international sales agents. Winning films will get a chance to be represented at global film markets.
With substantial revenue (sometimes well above 50 percent) coming from exploitation outside of a film’s home country, it is vital that producers should target and then structure deals with foreign sales agents.
What is an international sales agent?
An international sales agent is the conduit to your film’s distribution outside of its country of origin. The sales agent will acquire a set of rights from you, pitch and sell these distribution rights to potential distributors around the world, draft distribution agreements, deliver the physical and electronic materials of your film to these distributors and, finally, collect and pay the revenue due to you. An international agent will be your partner for years, helping craft the commercial life of your film on the world stage.
What is an independent cinema?
“independent cinema” as film outside the established system of filmmaking. Probably even more widely, beyond the established system of values: the experimental, low-budget, underground, various new wave, and so on.

If your film is a fan-favorite, or you have a unique story about your film - or youself - we usually do a feature story on THAT, too. No other film festival (unless you win the Academy Awards or maybe Sundance) can give you THAT kind of GLOBAL EXPOSURE.
The festival is held 20 minutes south-east of downtown Austin & 15 minutes from Bergstrom Airport, where we will come to pick you up if you are an official selection and decide to come in person, as well as take care of your room & board if you are staying the night.

The mission of the Raw Science Film Festival (RSFF) is to humanize science and ensure fact-based experts stay at the forefront of popular culture by celebrating the best science storytelling in the world.
