The 12th RESISTENCIA FILM FEST is an international film festival created to showcase films that promote the recovery of historical memory, the fight for freedom, and the defense of Human Rights.

RURÉFILOS, International Film and Rural World Festival is a multidisciplinary meeting point in which, through audiovisual language, a space is provided for debate and creative reflection on the past, present and future of the rural world.

CENTRAL-DOC, Blackbird Films and Huitzil Multidisciplinary Creation Laboratory A.C. All documentary filmmakers are invited to participate in the fourth edition of the International Documentary Film Festival, which will take place from December 2 to 6, 2019 in the state of Tlaxcala, Mexico. The works will be projected in public spaces, independent, educational institutions and cultural centers, being these local, national or international.
This fourth edition of the Exhibition is accompanied by the theme CULTURE, IDENTITY AND RESISTANCE ... 500 YEARS AGO. A theme that seeks to make visible but above all to claim the role of indigenous peoples through the different documentaries that make up this edition and that are intended to revolve around particular themes such as origins, traditions, territory, language, rights, among many others. . inDOCumentari is a film festival fully dedicated to the documentary genre, held in the city of Sabadell. Its mission is to promote and showcase documentary cinema as a tool for artistic expression, social reflection, and critical observation of contemporary reality.
The festival presents a diverse selection of short and feature-length documentaries from around the world, fostering cultural exchange and dialogue among filmmakers, audiences, and audiovisual professionals.
The Green Me GmbH is a Berlin based company and the organizer of the annual environmental film festival called the Green Me Global Festival for Sustainability. This festival was initiated in 2008 by Nicolai Niemann, and has over the years transformed from a lounge to a full blown film festival with three major sections: Film – the festival offers a platform for the green films, green publicity and green economy. Movies with environmentally related topics from all over the world are evaluated and screened; Congress – on this platform, professional minds engage in panel discussions on diverse environmental topics; Marketplace– where companies and NGOs represent themselves and exhibit their products and services; Gala Night- where awards are given out to the award winning films. Finalising each festival is the award night, during which the best films from different categories receive awards. GIJÓN/XIXÓN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (FICX) aims to showcase a wide and varied selection of auteur cinema currently being produced worldwide and especially focused on innovative films and emerging filmmakers. High quality, personal, young in its shape, edgy and independent cinema at a creative level. Article 1 — Introduction and Purpose
On the occasion of the 19th edition of OMOVIES – International LGBTQIA+ Film Festival, the i Ken APS ETS Association announces an international competition for audiovisual works exploring sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, bodies, relationships, families, communities, and LGBTQIA+ cultures through free, pluralistic, and intersectional perspectives.
Particular attention is given to questioning, understood not as an incomplete or merely transitional condition, but as a legitimate experience of self-exploration, reflection, and self-determination. OMOVIES recognizes every person's right to question their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression; to take time before adopting a definition; to change, over time, the language used to describe themselves; or to choose not to adopt any label at all. Cinema has the power to restore dignity to these journeys by freeing them from the pressure of certainty, from pathologization, and from representations that reduce them to confusion, fragility, or merely a transitional stage toward a supposedly definitive identity.
The Festival also recognizes queer cultures as a diverse heritage of memories, artistic practices, languages, forms of resistance, care, kinship, and community building. From this perspective, queer represents not only an identity category or an umbrella term, but also a critical lens through which what is presented as natural, universal, or immutable can be questioned. The Festival therefore welcomes works that expand the boundaries of visibility and storytelling, challenge binary thinking, stereotypes, hierarchies, and power structures, and explore the intersections between gender, sexual orientation, origin, racialization, disability, age, social class, faith, and migration, without reducing the complexity of human experience to new rigid definitions.
The Festival is scheduled to take place from December 7 to 14, 2026, in a hybrid format, featuring both in-person screenings and events in Naples, as well as an online programme. Festival venues, schedule, and access procedures will be published on the official website www.omovies.it.
