The EXTRAMUROS Festival is an annual celebration dedicated to showing a cinema created from the provinces, peripheries or any point outside the capitals of the world, usually excluded from conventional screens. Its content revolves around the non-commercial, poetic, human, social, environmental reality, of human rights and of the Latin American peoples and the world.

It is a space of recognition for all those people or groups that, through their audiovisual works, communicate their view of the world.

The main headquarters of EXTRAMUROS is located at www.casabukowski.com and its social networks and the dates scheduled for the exhibition are from March 28 to April 2, 2022. In this second version it will be done in a hybrid way, for this reason , we have requested the I.

Municipality of San Vicente de Tagua Tagua, province of Cachapoal, be the epicenter of this great event. In addition, there will be face-to-face exhibitions in Madrid, Berlin, Mexico City, and the Peruvian Amazon.

The production of the EXTRAMUROS Festival will be in charge of the CASA BUKOWSKI CULTURAL NGO.

THE CATEGORIES OF THE FESTIVAL ARE:

1. Long film (61 up to 120 minutes)
2. Short Documentary (7 up to 12 minutes)
3. Cinemetáfora: Category created by and for the EXTRAMUROS Festival. Specially dedicated to poetry and literary text, which does not exclude the oneiric or the audiovisual essay that does not exceed 10 minutes in length.
4. Shortfilm (1 up to 7 minutes)

The works must be in Spanish or with subtitles in this language.

14th edition of the International Film Festival for children and teenagers "AniFestROZAFA" on November 13-16, 2023 in Shkodra, Albania.

The International Jury of the AniFestROZAFA2023 festival will be established in cooperation with the European Children's Film Association ECFA.

The evaluation of the artistic values will be done by an international jury and by a special jury consisting of 23 children aged 8-12 years.

In the selection, the winning film "ECFA Award" will be announced, which will go as a competitor to the BERLIN festival in February 2024.

Films to compete in the 14th edition of the International Film Festival for Children and Teenagers must have been produced after June 1, 2021.

Welcome back to the 10th edition!

For its 10th edition, the festival event will last for ten days, to offer more time for insights with the authors.

TUC_10 will be held in a very important location for the Turin “Cinema” universe, which is located in the heart of the city, at the marvelous Cinema Baretti.

Cash prizes are awarded for the best feature film, best short film and best documentary. Also, special awards will be assigned to: best director, best actor, best actress, best cinematographer, best editor and best sound designer. It there will be an audience award and mentions assigned by our media partners.

The festival counts on the help of media-partnerships and cultural partners in the area.

The 15th annual SiciliAmbiente Film Festival will take on July 17-22, 2023.

The aim of SiciliAmbiente Film Festival is to promote independent cinema and documentary cinema, and to encourage creative exchange and networking among the directors.

This Festival is organized and sponsored by Demetra Produzioni SAS and CANTIERE 7 Cultural Association, and made possible by public and private partners and sponsors who share in the same ethical principles of the Festival.
Films dealing with the following themes may participate: Environment, Anthropology, Human Rights, Biodiversity, War, Integration, Civil Rights, Sustainable Development and the Relationship between Man and the Environment.

The Festival is divided into different sections:

Documentary Film contest (minimum rt: 31 minutes)

Fiction Feature Film contest (minimum rt: 70 minutes)

Short Film contest for Fiction and Documentary shorts (maximum rt: 30 minutes)

Animated short film contest (maximum rt: 30 minutes)

Overview of documentaries, fiction, short films and several tributes, retrospectives, seminars and panel discussions
The Selection Committee will choose based on the quality of writing and images and the general use of a creative language identifying artistic documentary cinema.

Submission requirements

Documentaries (31’ or more), Feature films (70’ or more), Short and Animated films (31’ or less) of any nationality may be submitted for the selection process, provided that they were completed after January 1, 2021.

If selected, the format for the projection of the film may be:
· Unencrypted DCP
· Blu-ray DVD
· Apple ProRes File
· File H264

Other formats must be approved by the Festival Management.
Screening fees may not be requested and will not be paid for the contests.

Films in any language other than Italian must be subtitled in English or Italian and, if selected for the final phase of competition, they must be sent to the festival with the requested presentation materials and the English dialogue list.

Films to be presented in the Short film and Animated film sections must be shorter than 31 minutes or they will be excluded.

No screening fees can be requested by the representatives of the films submitted for the contest.
The Festival may choose to invite selected films into the contest.

Some of the films not selected for the short film and animated film contests may be selected for a non-competitive section.

The Short Film Slam is a bimonthly competition presented by The Madlab Post that focuses on providing a platform for emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their work. Each round, a selection of up to twelve short films will be screened for local audiences who get to cast a vote for their favorite film. The highest rated film at live screenings will be declared "Movie of the Month" during the following month. The highest rated "in-competition" films from each live and online screening room will advance to the final round. All finalists get to compete for a total of $1,000 in prize money during the final round and festivities preceding the 2023 shnit Cinemas screening in Philadelphia.

Since 2012, The Madlab Post has promoted community outreach and engagement through film, screening dozens of exceptional short films from around the world to local audiences; including the Academy Award nominated short film A SINGLE LIFE, Clermond-Ferrand International Film Festival Special Jury Prize winner THE BATHTUB and Sundance Grand Jury Prize nominee Et ta prostate, ça va? (HOW'S YOUR PROSTATE). Main venues include the historic Bok building and Taller Puertorriqueño's state-of-the-art El Corazón Cultural Center.

We are thrilled to announce the new Roswell Daily Record Film Festival.

The Roswell Daily Record published a historic article about a crashed UFO on July 8, 1947. The government confirmed a flying disc had been recovered, only to change the story the next day. The debate about the actual events around Roswell in 1947 continues to this day.

This festival is oriented to ufo, paranormal, cryptozoology and unexplained worlds productions.

Together with the RDR´s Roswell Incident and FICUFP, the Roswell Daily Record Film Festival joins the investigation into the unexplained with research on these topics.

At the festival, you will see films, documentaries, TV and web series with the presence of special guests like directors, producers, and actors from the film and Television industry, as well as content creators from online platforms like Youtube.

The call for entries ends on April 30, 2023, and the Film Festival will take place on June 30th, July 1 and 2.

WUIFF gives opportunity to indie filmmakers to compete their dream project with other ingenious filmmakers around the world. FPS has its own mission, as a certain amount from each and every project submission in the Festival will be utilized for social cause and at the end of the year during Annual Gala Fest of WUIFF the amount will be handed over to any of the social organizations/ NGO WUIFF also has taken responsibility to outspread the art of cinema among large scale and to execute this goal our team has decided to screen its monthly winning projects in different places across India. ‘White Unicorn International Film Festival’ is more than just a film festival; it is an endless and powerful connection among all filmmakers and film lovers around the globe.

The Río Negro International Social Film Festival is an audiovisual festival that aims to promote cinema within the country and abroad.
