The International Film and Multimedia Festival is an audiovisual Festival that aims to promote cinema within the country and abroad. The festival will take place in the month of March with competition for short films both fiction, experimental, documentary. and an International Media Art Exhibition.

Following the success of The Bite Size Film Festival, The Big Short Film Festival brings another essential evening of curated short films to the heart of Shoreditch. Championing independent filmmakers, this event provides a fantastic opportunity to network with industry professionals and to showcase your work on the big screen, perhaps for the first time ever!
Hosted by London’s intimate Close-Up Cinema, The Big Short Film Festival is open to all filmmakers from around the world, from any background or level of experience. Selected filmmakers will be invited to attend the screening event on April 30th in Shoreditch. Attendance is not mandatory, but if we loved your work, we would love to meet YOU.
Open to all genres of short film, we are looking for stories that inspire, shock, move and enthral us. Films that are personal to you, or ones that capture the universal human experience. Both narrative and documentary shorts will be accepted, with the screening hoping to incorporate a mixture of both.
Doors will open at 6pm. Following the screening, there will be an opportunity to network with fellow filmmakers at a local venue (TBD). The Bite Size Film Festival will also return in October for another Halloween spookfest. Submissions open May 1st.
Welcome to the 3rd Edition of Ladies in Control
Ladies in Control is a short film festival dedicated to showcasing works directed by women. Its mission is to promote women’s authorship in cinema and highlight the essential impact of the female perspective within the audiovisual arts.
This year’s program will feature a curated selection of short films directed by women, alongside a panel discussion bringing together leading women from the creative industry.
The festival will also present the premiere of Cultura Groovy’s first original short film, written, directed, and produced by women, marking a key milestone in our ongoing commitment to supporting female-driven cinema.
Ladies in Control fosters visibility, dialogue, and opportunity for women in film, contributing to a more inclusive and equitable cinematic ecosystem.
Sound and Music Film Festival Makedonska 21 is taking place in an old Belgrade building dating back to early 20tth century (1928), which is situated on Makedonska 21 street. This was the building of the strongest workers union at the time, founded to promote highly respected values of mutual respect and solidarity. After the Second World War the premises were used by Radio Belgrade as the location of Studio 10, which was the home of most significant radio dramas and music records. This place was responsible for introducing the art of sound to Belgrade listeners and making it an essential part of their cultural heritage, proving itself to be of an immeasurable artistic, cultural, and social significance.
Today, the building is a blend of residential and commercial units. Relying on the building’s rich history, their residents decided to give something in return and contribute to its tradition by starting a film festival that celebrates the art of film music and sound design.
The festival is intended to be a professional networking platform for anyone coming from these fields –film composers, sound designers, sound recordist, music producers, musicians, music bands, to name a few, in order to give them the opportunity to explore, learn, exchange their knowledge and unite ideas.
The festival welcomes films of all categories – documentary films, short fiction films, experimental films, animated films, of all genres, as long as they are commited to creative use of their soundscape.
The bulding premises alow this event to spread its sound magic on various stages simoultaneously – from the monumental hall with great acoustics, and music store Metropolis located on the ground floor, all the way to the roof top, where people can enjoy films and live music over drinks under the vast Belgrade sky.

Broyhan Fantastik is THE fantastic film festival in northern Germany. Founded in 2024, it returns this year with several exciting new features.
There are 10 brand-new feature films in competition and a Late-Night Special to discover – including 6 German premieres!
This year’s 12-film retrospective focuses on the “German genre film” since the 1950s. Almost all screenings will be shown from 35mm film prints, including 3 family-friendly screenings for the next generation of fantastic film lovers.

Play Granada is a unique event in Andalucia focused in film, literature, and sports culture. The second edition will be held in 2026 from April 22th to 25th, at emblematic venues like the Isabel la Católica Theater and Condes de Gabia Palace.
The project position the province and city of Granada as a cultural and sports benchmark with a showcase of screenings, conferences, and book presentations. Searching the goal of the European Capital of Culture in 2031, and at a very exciting time for sports in the province, both individually and in team sports, the organization of a festival that combines both disciplines emerges as an opportunity to position Granada as a city of culture.
The mix of film and literature around sports through a highly attractive media event, packed with premieres, presentations and prestigious guests, will significantly position the province, establishing it as a new meeting point for two booming industries with undeniable social impact. “Cinema that Interrupts Silences”
The 5th Puno Film Festival – Hanan Cinema is organized and promoted by the Cultural Association Puno Audiovisual, an initiative that seeks to strengthen and diversify film production in the Puno region and throughout the country, while establishing bonds with sister nations of South and Central America.
In this fifth edition, the festival is held under the theme “Cinema that Interrupts Silences”, an invitation to recognize cinema as a space of expression that questions absences, reveals denied memories, and gives voice to territories, bodies, and communities historically silenced.
From the south of Peru, Hanan Cinema reaffirms its commitment to a cinema that listens, dialogues, and transforms.
The festival will take place from December 6 to 13, 2025, at Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. It will be an in-person event, complemented by virtual activities that will allow participation from audiences across the globe.
Hanan Cinema continues to consolidate itself as a meeting space for filmmakers, critics, programmers, audiences, and communities, reaffirming that cinema is, above all, a collective creation.
Among the peaks that stand out against the sky and the deep silence of the valleys that preserve ancient stories, “Alte Visioni│Erto Film Festival” is born. It 's not just a film festival but a bridge of light and images thrown between the past and the future, between the memory and resilience of a territory unique in the world: Erto and Casso.

Like some trees in the Bosco Vecchio forest, which were able to take root again after the landslide and whose branches have become new life, our community has been able to get back on its feet and look ahead. The festival aims to highlight this capacity for rebirth, the wild and untamed beauty of our mountains, the culture that animates them, and the new perspectives that are opening up. We want cinema to be a tool for telling stories of hope, adaptation, sustainability, and the deep connection between humans and the nature that surrounds them.
The Dead of Night Film Festival is brought to you by Two-Headed Snake Entertainment and The Liverpool Horror Club and is part of the ever growing International horror film festival circuit.
It is currently the only horror film festival in Merseyside, England.
The objective of our festival is to bring new independent horror short and feature length films to the genre loving public of Merseyside.
We know it can be hard for Independent filmmakers to get theatrical releases for their movies and we want to help get them the audience they deserve.
Film festivals are such an important part of independent horror cinema and are the best way to get their movies seen around the globe.
This year we will screen 6 feature films and 15 short films in a cinema auditorium with 75 comfortable seats and an Optoma 8000-lumens projector, plus 5.1 Surround Sound to present an immersive cinematic experience.
