First edition of a competitive international film and arts festival. Focused on fantasy, science fiction and horror.
Serra Catarinense is a region of Brazil, full of folklore, myths and mysteries.

The festival takes place in an old college of priests, in a disused church

The jury will award the following prizes:

Best Short Film.
Best Brazilian Film.
Best Screenplay.
best direction.
best acting.

1) Films in a foreign language must be submitted for entries with subtitles in Portuguese.

2) Films without speech will be accepted

3) english selection display copies must be sent without embedded subtitles and after english dialogue dialogs in SRT format.

4) Serra Eletrica is authorized to use images and excerpts from the films submitted for promotional use of the event.

5) Format of the film curtains: Mp4, H264 or high quality ProRes

The exhibition copy must be free of subtitles (or with subtitles in Portuguese).
