Bucharest Film Awards is a space designed for film professionals and film enthousiasts to foster creativity, expressivity and innovation in the cinematic field. Bucharest Film Awards promotes short and feature films from around the world with 18 awards in 3 categories. Only films accepted in our Official Selection are eligible to screenings.
All submitted films will be reviewed by a jury of film professionals, that will look for creativity, talent, powerful ideas, quality and attention to details, regardless of the experience of those involved in the creation process and the budget of the submitted works.
The Film Competition will be a 3-day event that will include thematic workshops, live screening events, industry talks and networking cocktails.
In addition to the Film Competition, we created Spotlight with the aim of better promoting the best submitted projects. We will screen the best 10 films submitted in the first 6 months of the year.

El amplio cine LAB111 volverá a ser el hogar del New Renaissance Film Festival (NRFF) para su cuarta edición los días 2, 3 y 4 de marzo de 2020.
Este amistoso festival de arte que tiene su sede en Londres y que fue llamado «Uno de los mejores festivales de cine del Reino Unido» (London METRO, O1.08.16, ha estrenado y proyectado películas que llegaron a ganar un Oscar (http://newrenaissancefilmfest.com/nrff-interviews-oscar-2018-winners-the-silent-child), o recibieron una importante acuerdo de distribución.
A pesar de su pequeño tamaño, cada año hay muchas joyas que se encuentran entre los numerosos cortometrajes y largometrajes, y muchos cineastas y actores están tradicionalmente presentes y muchas redes tienen lugar. El
cine es un medio único, y la misión de NRFF es apoyar y defender a artistas y narradores independientes e inspiradores. The 29th edition of the European Short Film Festival of Bordeaux will take place from March 26th to 27th 2026. The projection nights will take place at the UGC Ciné-Cité cinema in Bordeaux.
GOALS
The European Short Film Festival of Bordeaux aims to promote the short film format to the Région Aquitaine's audience. It facilitates the access to cinema for a large public, from all ages. La 4º MUESTRA DE CINE QUEER es un reconocimiento anual no competitivo creado por la Cineteca Pública de Santander, para celebrar y destacar la obra de los y las profesionales del cine nacional e internacional, que visibilicen un carácter estético-político desde las diversidades sexuales y de género, con obras situadas al margen de los circuitos comerciales de exhibición, que generen encuentros culturales y sociales, consolidando procesos de organización y autorepresentación.
Todo cine es de autor. Cada película es dispositivo y el género ha acabado. La relación sexualidad-género-cuerpo nos envuelve de inagotables preguntas y reflexiones. MUESTRA INTERNACIONAL DE CINE DOCUMENTAL
Cuarta Edición
CENTRAL-DOC, Blackbird Films y Huitzil Laboratorio de Creación Multidisciplinaria A.C. convocan a todos los realizadores de documental a participar en la cuarta edición de la Muestra Internacional de Cine Documental, que se realizará del 2 al 6 de diciembre de 2019 en el estado de Tlaxcala, México. Las obras serán proyectadas en espacios públicos, independientes, instituciones educativas y centros culturales, pudiendo ser estos locales, nacionales o internacionales.
Esta cuarta edición de la Muestra está acompañada del tema CULTURA, IDENTIDAD Y RESISTENCIA… A 500 AÑOS. Un tema que busca visibilizar pero sobre todo reivindicar el papel de los pueblos originarios a través de los diferentes documentales que conformen esta edición y que se pretende giren en torno a temas particulares como son orígenes, tradiciones, territorio, lengua, derechos, entre muchos más. En CENTRAL-DOC esperamos documentales con historias que nos permitan cuestionar y valorar lo que nos hace ser lo que somos, de dónde venimos y cuáles son nuestras raíces.
CineCulpable es el Festival Internacional de Cortos de Vila-real. En 2020, llegamos a la 23ª edición.
Somos un Festival de Cortos abierto a todos aquellos artistas que presenten sus obras en cualquiera de las lenguas oficiales de la Comunidad Valenciana: español o valenciano.

El FEST — New Directors | New Films Festival es una celebración integral de las nuevas tendencias del cine mundial. El evento se centra en una muestra competitiva y no competitiva de las nuevas figuras y obras más prometedoras de todo el mundo.
La 22ª edición del festival tendrá lugar entre el 20 y el 28 de junio de 2026 en la ciudad costera de Espinho (Portugal).
La selección se divide en varias categorías que incluyen competiciones de largometrajes y cortometrajes en los formatos de ficción, documental, animación y experimental no narrativo, así como contenido adecuado para niños y adolescentes. El evento también incluye secciones no competitivas que van desde retrospectivas hasta exhibiciones de largometrajes y cortometrajes.
¿QUÉ ESTAMOS BUSCANDO?
Aceptamos películas en los siguientes formatos:
A) Largometrajes de ficción y no ficción (la duración mínima es de 55 minutos) de directores que estén realizando su primer o segundo largometraje, independientemente de su edad.
B) Cortometrajes de ficción, documentales, de animación y experimentales (de hasta 54 minutos de duración) de directores que no hayan completado más de dos largometrajes, independientemente de su edad.
Los candidatos deben elegir una de las categorías de inscripción disponibles. No se preocupe si su película se ajusta a diferentes categorías (es decir, producciones híbridas), ya que todas las inscripciones se considerarán para las diferentes competiciones. Si su película también es elegible para la competencia NEXXT (centrada en producciones académicas) pero desea que la película sea considerada para todas las demás competiciones, indique en la sección de comentarios de la inscripción la institución académica donde se produjo la película. Las secciones de cortometrajes del FEST son conocidas por su amplia variedad de estilos y visiones fílmicas, y han sido a lo largo de los años una plataforma para el lanzamiento de nuevos artistas como Govinda Van Maele (Luxemburgo), Christos Massalas (Grecia), Mati Diop (Francia), Lukas Dhont (Bélgica), Adriano Valerio (Italia), Patrick Vollrath (Alemania), Ninja Thyberg (Suecia), Manuel Abramoa Vich (Argentina), Daria Belova (Rusia), Simon Mésa Soto (Colombia), Aga Woszczynska (Polonia) y Jela Hasler (Suiza), así como cientos de cineastas emergentes.

WorldFest is the only film festival in the world that gives your entry a grade, a score! Your score can earn you a Remi Award! We do not believe that there can just be three winners in a category, a Gold, Silver and Bronze - so we assign your entry a score from the jury! An A+ wins a Special Jury Award and is considered for the Grand Remi! An A score wins a Platinum Remi, an A- wins a Gold, a B+ wins a Silver and a B wins a Bronze Remi. No Awards are made below a B level score. With more than 4,750 category entries, only about 10-15% actually win a Remi Award, but we feel it is the best possible way to run a festival awards system!

The 55th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival continues its totally dedicated Independent Film screening format for the upcoming April 20-24, 2022 unspooling. WorldFest will screen just 60-80 feature film premieres and over 130 Shorts with a total and absolute emphasis on the American and International Independent feature film and a continuing annual spotlight on award-winning short films and documentary films. Entries Officially Open Aug. 15, 2021. The EarlyBird Entry Deadline is Nov. 15th 2021 – A Mail-By/Enter By/Ship-By Deadline! Entries do not have to arrive by this deadline. The Main Entry Deadline is December 15, 2021. The Late Entry Deadline is Jan 15th 2022!

El Festival Internacional de Cine Universitario KINOKI es realizado por los alumnos de la Universidad Iberoamericana en la Ciudad de México desde el año 2004 . Consiste en generar un marco para que los alumnos de las diferentes universidades del mundo participantes, puedan exponer sus trabajos al mismo tiempo que compiten en la selección oficial del festival. Así mismo, se trata de un punto de reunión en el que personas del medio cinematográfico nacional e internacional, tienen un espacio de interacción con los alumnos de la Universidad.

Nuestra historia
en 2009 como un proyecto informal para proyectar cine independiente en las recónditas callejuelas de Alfama, proyectado contra sus icónicos muros de piedra.
En los años siguientes, Cinalfama maduró y se convirtió en un evento competitivo de carácter internacional, así como en una referencia cultural en Lisboa.
La naturaleza de los eventos ha cambiado a lo largo de los años, pero el ambiente, las películas y los recintos siguen siendo tan íntimos como siempre.
¿Nuestro hogar
Fundado en 1914, el Grupo Sportivo Adicense es uno de los símbolos más antiguos y auténticos que quedan del verdadero alma de Alfama.
Los cantantes de fado de fama mundial comenzaron su carrera como camareros en esta histórica institución, una institución que sigue haciendo frente a los cambios constantes y a la mala caracterización del paisaje urbano del barrio
Sesiones de proyección
Escondidas en las callejuelas del casco antiguo de Lisboa, Alfama, nuestras proyecciones íntimas tienen lugar en la casa cultural más antigua de la ciudad, el Grupo Sportivo Adicense.
Organizamos tres ediciones de proyecciones de temporada a lo largo del año, para mostrar y premiar a los mejores talentos y películas de cada una de ellas. La entrada es gratuita y todas las películas tienen subtítulos en inglés.
Debido a la pandemia actual y a las restricciones asociadas, hemos decidido organizar la próxima edición de enero de 2024 en línea, poniendo a su disposición una selección de las mejores películas de la temporada. Con el objetivo de volver a tener las proyecciones en directo muy pronto.
8th INTERNATIONAL HALF FESTIVAL 2018
(Haiku Amateur Little Film Festival)
HALF Festival stands for Haiku Amateur Little Film Festival. ‘Haiku’ is a very short form of Japanese poetry, here used to mean any short form of aesthetic creativity. ‘Amateur’ here denotes a creation by a creator whose chief intention in the creation is not financial gain. ‘Little’ here stands for shortness of duration of the film. ‘HALF’ denotes also the stipulated duration of the film which is 5 minutes or ‘half’ the time of a traditional film reel which is 10 minutes. Insight, which is organizing this festival, is a group of creative artists, with base at Palakkad, who believe in the infinite potential of the short film as a medium of communication and aesthetic creativity.
