Das im Jahr 2004 von Luigi Campanile gegründete Internationale Filmfestival von Salento entstand als bedeutendes kulturelles Ereignis und Top-Filmfestival in Süditalien. Jedes Jahr führt es Filmemacher weltweit in die einzigartigen Ressourcen der Region Salento ein und feiert gleichzeitig die Geschichte und Zukunft der Filmindustrie mit 5 Tagen Weltpremieren, Sonderveranstaltungen, Seminaren, Spielfilmen, Kurzfilmen und Dokumentarfilmen.
In den letzten Jahren hat SIFF eine Welttournee organisiert und durchgeführt, die das Festival zu internationalen Destinationen wie Zürich, London, Hongkong, New York, Santiago del Cile, Moskau, San Petersburg, Oslo und mehr führt und die Veranstaltung „Best of the Fest“ präsentiert. Dies gibt SIFF die Möglichkeit, einige der besten Filme, die auf dem Festival präsentiert werden, einer internationalen Öffentlichkeit an renommierten Orten wie italienischen Kulturinstituten der Welt und Kinotheatern zu präsentieren, was die Sichtbarkeit und Wertschätzung solcher Werke erhöht, die Schwierigkeiten haben, eine Verteilung zu finden kanal.

2024 feiert das Iquique International Film Festival (Ficiqq) sein 15-jähriges Bestehen. Ficiqq ist eine einzigartige Veranstaltung in der Region Tarapacá, die zu diesem Anlass vom Audiovisual Development Fund 2024 finanziert und von SQM Yodo Nutrición Vegetal gesponsert und von Volcánica Films produziert wird.

Voces Contra el Silencio, Video Independiente A.C., die Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, laden mit Unterstützung von TV UNAM und dem UNAM-Filmarchiv Filmemacher ein, an der vierzehnten Ausgabe der Hispano-American Independent Documentary Film and Video Encounter teilzunehmen: Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces, die vom 4. bis 12. September 2026 in Mexiko-Stadt und in verschiedenen Staaten in der gesamten mexikanischen Republik, in einem Hybridformat.
Das Hauptziel von Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces ist es, als Fenster zu dienen, das unabhängige Dokumentarfilme aus Mexiko, Lateinamerika und Spanien durch freie, zugängliche und offene Räume zusammenbringt, die eine Vielfalt von Perspektiven beinhalten, kollektives Handeln fördern und kollaborative Netzwerke fördern, um die Entwicklung des Dokumentarfilms und den Aufbau einer gerechteren, gerechteren und toleranteren Gesellschaft zu unterstützen.
Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces hat neue audiovisuelle Ausstellungsalternativen erkundet und erfolgreich ein Publikum erreicht, das es sich nie zuvor vorgestellt hatte. Aus diesem Grund wurde in dieser dreizehnten Ausgabe beschlossen, ein Hybridformat beizubehalten, das aus persönlichen Aktivitäten an verschiedenen alternativen Filmausstellungsorten, On-Demand-Inhalten auf der MXPLUS-Plattform und Sendungen auf öffentlichen Fernsehsendern in Mexiko-Stadt (Canal 11, Canal 21, Canal 22 und TV UNAM) sowie auf öffentlichen Kanälen in anderen Bundesstaaten des Landes besteht. Die Teilnahme an dieser Ausschreibung setzt daher die Akzeptanz voraus, dass der Dokumentarfilm in der vierzehnten Ausgabe des Encuentro Hispanomaericano de Cine y Video Documental Independiente: Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces in diesen drei Formaten ausgestellt wird

Die Kulturabteilung des Ehrwürdigen Stadtrats von San Nicolás del Puerto und die Punto Vuela von San Nicolás del Puerto kündigen das 11. Horror- und Fantasy-Kurzfilmfestival „La Vieja Encina“ 2025 an, das am 2., 3. und 4. Oktober 2025 stattfinden wird.
KloosterKino is the place to be for animated shorts in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Three times a year we show the best animated shorts from all over the world in a friendly setting. The screenings take place in a historic cloister, which dates back to 1909, and are not subject to admission.
KloosterKino shows work by young filmmakers, but also pays attention to classic animated film. Throughout the year we also work with other festivals and cultural organizations to arrange screenings of animated shorts.
But why animated shorts? Well, first of all, because we love them! But also because too few animated shorts are shown theatrically in the Netherlands. KloosterKino wants to show animation in all its diversity: from stop-motion to CGI, from narrative to abstract, homegrown and from far away. In doing so, we hope to aid in the diffusion of the artistic animated short.
We intend to be an alternative to the larger animation festivals by offering screenings which are both accessible and challenging. We stand for high quality animated film in welcoming surroundings. Our target audience is not just the animation aficionado, but also those who normally don’t watch animation, but are open to a surprising and stimulating program of films.

During the three days festival, the Food Film Festival attempts to cover all aspects of everything related to food. Aside from documentaries, feature films, animation, short and experimental films the festival boasts a variety of debate, lectures, live shows and workshops. This broad approach leads to the multifaceted program the subject deserves.

By creating a stage for food stories the Food Film Festival hopes to convey the love for food and at the same time it denounces the many problems related to our current day food system.
Das BioBioCine International Festival ist eine interkulturelle Sammlung von Wissen und Weisheit, die im Kino zum Ausdruck gebracht werden. Ziel ist es, im Rahmen seiner Jahrestagung zu einem Ort des Dialogs und der Reflexion zu werden und gleichzeitig die nationale und internationale Kinematographie aus territorialer und identitätlicher Sicht zu fördern, zu unterstützen und zu bewerten.
Das BioBioCine International Festival lädt zu seiner elften Ausgabe Beiträge aus allen Ländern und Kulturen ein. Das Programm des Festivals umfasst wettbewerbsfähige und nicht wettbewerbsfähige Kategorien für Spiel- und Kurzfilme, sowohl Fiktion als auch Sachliteratur, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf Autorenkino, aufstrebenden Filmemachern, Experimenten, interkultureller Dialog und First Nations liegt.

El Coro Vell es como se conoce popularmente a la Societat Coral Juventut Terrassenca de Terrassa. Dicha entidad celebró en el 2008 su 150 aniversario, convirtiéndose así en una las entidades culturales más antiguas de la ciudad de Terrassa, aún en funcionamiento.
La Sección de Cine y Video por su parte, se ha convertido en el caldo de cultivo del cine amateur terrasense y estatal desde que creó a mediados de los años 60 el célebre certamen "EL ROTLLO", dedicado al Súper 8.
A partir del año 2003, la SCV del Coro Vell hace un salto al digital y la incorporación del audiovisual profesional con la celebración (anual y bianual, en algunos casos) del CONCURSO PLANO SECUENCIA, que ya ha celebrado 8 ediciones hasta la fecha.
El 9º CONCURSO INTERNACIONAL DEL PLANO SECUENCIA se celebrará en la Sede del Coro Vell, el próximo 21 de diciembre. La convocatoria para participar se abrirá el 8 de octubre hasta el próximo 3 de diciembre de 2013.
