O Ulsan Ulju Mountain Film Festival (UMFF) é o primeiro festival internacional de cinema de montanha na Coreia do Sul, dedicado a apresentar e promover filmes e cultura que tratam de montanhas, aventura, exploração, natureza e meio ambiente. O festival também oferece uma oportunidade para cineastas e alpinistas se encontrarem e trocarem ideias por meio de seminários, eventos, exibições e reuniões sociais.
O 11º UMFF será realizado em Ulsan e Ulju, Coreia do Sul, no outono de 2026.
O 18º Festival Anual de Cinema SiciliAmbiente acontecerá de 13 a 18 de julho de 2026.
O objetivo do Festival de Cinema SiciliAmbiente é promover o cinema independente e o cinema documental e incentivar o intercâmbio criativo e o networking entre os diretores.
Este Festival é organizado e patrocinado pela Demetra Produzioni SAS e pela Associação Cultural CANTIERE 7, e possibilitado por parceiros e patrocinadores públicos e privados que compartilham os mesmos princípios éticos do Festival.
Podem participar filmes que tratem dos seguintes temas: Meio Ambiente, Antropologia, Direitos Humanos, Biodiversidade, Guerra, Integração, Direitos Civis, Desenvolvimento Sustentável e a Relação entre o Homem e o Meio Ambiente.
O Festival está dividido em diferentes seções:
- Concurso de documentário (duração mínima: 31 minutos)
- Concurso de longa-metragem de ficção (duração mínima: 70 minutos)
- Concurso de curtas-metragens para curtas-metragens de ficção e documentário (duração máxima: 31 minutos)
- Concurso de curta-metragem de animação (duração máxima: 31 minutos)

O Comitê de Seleção escolherá com base na qualidade da escrita e das imagens e no uso geral de uma linguagem criativa que identifique o cinema documental artístico.
With twenty-two years of existence, (the first edition was in 1997) AVANCA Film Festival was awarded first place in 2011 contest of the support film festivals sponsored by ICA / Ministry of Culture.
An additional thematic programming has happened over all these years, giving space to screening of significant works of contemporary cinema appropriately framed in concerns and / or well-defined objectives.
The AVANCA is known as a space for workshops led by personalities of world cinema, and being more than a "master class", has allowed a unique cinema practice. Every year we have always 6 or 7 workshops, bringing together participants from all over Europe. The media have written that this is the largest European area of professional workshops in the field of cinema.
AVANCA is the only festival that congregates a Cinema International Competition, works from the television area, video and new supports of multimedia, with a special concern of exhibit the best world productions done in each category.
Since the first edition, the festival only accepts unprecedented films in Portugal.
The World Premiere competition is unique in our country and was only possible because Avanca became a passage point of unpublished authors and movies with great quality. Films that have their world premiere in the festival, independently of the submitted category, are also participating in the World Premiere Competition.
AVANCA is the Portuguese festival with the highest percentage of worldwide unpublished movies that find here their first showing.
In 2020 Edition, Avanca will bring for the first time the VR Competition, where films in virtual reality 360°, narrative or experimental (but with no interactivity) are allowed.
Since 2010, we have organized the international film conference AVANCA | CINEMA, becoming the most important conference in the field of cinema in the Iberian Peninsula. This conference brings together speakers and participants from around the world.
Thematic exhibitions, editions of books, bibliographic presentations and various projects have marked these last 10 years of AVANCA with the quality that compels the festival and the participants obviously require.

Mais uma vez, temos a honra de convidá-lo a fazer parte do nosso festival, para o qual procuramos filmes de qualquer duração, tema ou origem que, adotando as ferramentas do cinema real, representem diversos pontos de vista sobre a experiência humana contemporânea.
Nesta versão, somos mais uma vez um espaço face a face, devolvendo nossos corações aos corpos coletivos do deserto. O AricaDoc nasceu como um caminho para explorar alternativas à competição e mercantilização que a lógica industrial impõe às artes cinematográficas.
Promover um encontro sensível e político baseado na busca ativa de novas formas de sentir nosso relacionamento com o mundo ao nosso redor.
Somos profundamente gratos a todos que se juntaram às comunidades de públicos do festival de territórios distantes. Pensando neles e neles, é que pelo menos parte do programa estará disponível em uma plataforma de visualização on-line, para acesso do Perú, Bolívia e Chile.
Para este ano, as atividades serão concentradas entre 3 e 12 de outubro. Sendo esta chamada aberta entre 26 de junho e 27 de julho, através do FESTHOME.

It will run though November and include features, shorts, documentaries and music videos on our main theatre screen, as well support events with special guests.
All filmmakers who's work is being shown will 3 tickets for the screening of their own film.
Distributors, producers and press from all over the world will be on hand to view the films screened and there will be the chance to network with them at the festival too. Many of the industry’s top companies and film schools will also be in attendance offering advice on education and career opportunities.
Other events and networking opportunities will be announced closer to the date. These will include seminars, Q&As, conventions and memorabilia expos.
There will be a high calibre panel of special guest judges, from various areas of the industry, who will review the nominees’ entries and select the winners at the festival’s closing event. The award ceremony will be held at a high-profile venue in the city and be an open ticket event.

Screendance from North Rhine Westphalia, Germany
Moovy aims to encourage choreographers, dancers, film-makers and digital artists from North Rhine-Westphalia to develop innovative ‘dance film’ projects together. An open call supports this plan. After films are produced from this collaboration, a selection will be chosen for an open call of which, some will be screened at ‘Moovy’.

O objetivo do Southern Shorts Awards (SSA) é reconhecer cineastas cujos curtas-metragens demonstram sua capacidade de produzir filmes bem trabalhados.
A competição Southern Shorts Awards/FESTIVAL
Southern Shorts Awards é uma competição sazonal para curtas-metragens (menos de 30 minutos) em que cada entrada é julgada pelos seus próprios méritos. Cada filme será exibido por três juízes usando uma escala de 10 pontos e você receberá as pontuações de todos os três juízes, quer você ganhe um prêmio ou não.
No final de cada temporada, exibimos os três melhores filmes de cada gênero marcando 75 ou mais. Estes são festivais de um dia realizados no Aurora Cineplex em Roswell, Geórgia.
Os filmes são exibidos em blocos de gênero com perguntas e respostas no final de cada filme (cujos cineastas participam) e a noite termina com uma espetacular apresentação de prêmios.
Não há limites para quando ou onde um filme foi produzido, aceitamos filmes de todo o mundo, independentemente da idade.

Sua pontuação composta mostrará onde você se destacou, bem como as áreas em que você poderia fazer melhor. Esta informação é de vital importância, porque como você pode melhorar se você não sabe o que precisa ser melhorado? A SSA oferece condições equitativas para que os cineastas tenham seu trabalho julgado por um painel de profissionais da indústria.
A maioria dos festivais oferece apenas duas categorias para curtas-metragens, narrativa ou documentário. SSA tem 15 categorias, então seu filme pode ser julgado dentro de seu gênero específico.
Southern Shorts Awards também pode servir como um teste de primeira entrada para cineastas que pretendem entrar em seu filme em vários festivais. Receber um prémio da SSA não garante que um outro festival aceite a sua participação, mas os filmes que não receberem qualquer prémio da nossa parte poderão ser menos propensos a encontrar sucesso no circuito do festival.
Instructions for film submission
Each year, we select 10 Feature Films, 30 Short Films to play in each of our Festival programs. However, you may not submit your film directly to any one specific program.
The film’s subject matter, the production itself or the film’s director should have a strong connection to ecological topic, environmental, environmentally friendly technologies, urbanistics, road movie, nature and minority people, protection of nature.

The NZ Mountain Film Festival is a competitive event bringing the best adventure films on the worlds remote places, extreme sports and their spirit of adventure from around the world to the alpine villages of Wanaka and Queenstown, New Zealand.
The festival provides an opportunity for filmmakers to showcase their work, receive merit and win cash prizes. We invite you to submit your film for pre-screening consideration. All films selected as finalists will be screened at our festival in 2018.
The theme is: Adventurous Sports and Lifestyles. But please be aware subject matter criteria is extremely broad and as long as there is a link with adventurous sports or people and take place in the world’s mountains, lakes, rivers, oceans or skies, that’s fine (mountain climbing, rock or ice climbing, caving, kayaking, white water rafting, base jumping, paragliding etc are all included)
