O Festival Internacional de Cinema de Valdivia apresenta o cinema chileno e internacional em cinco categorias competitivas: Competição de Longa-Metragem, Competição de Longa-Metragem Juvenil, Competição de Curta-Metragem Infantil da América Latina e Caribe e Competição Chilena de Curta-Metragem para Estudantes de Cinema. Seu programa não competitivo inclui retrospectivas históricas, retrospectivas de cineastas contemporâneos, cinema político, cinema de vanguarda, gênero e um slot de cinema infantil voltado para famílias.
1.- OBJETIVOS
O festival tem como objetivo oferecer aos cineastas chilenos e estrangeiros um lugar para exibir e competir e, com isso, promover obras cinematográficas nacionais e internacionais de qualidade artística.
2. TÂMARAS
O festival será realizado de 13 a 19 de outubro de 2025, em Valdivia, Chile.

The Pembroke Taparellli Arts and Film Festival was founded as a means to provide independent artists committed to social justice with a place through which to share their work with our global community. The festival seeks to give a platform to artists who seek to use their voice in film, theatre, spoken word, painting, sculptor, and photography to bring to light such issues as, poverty, gender inequality, homelessness, hunger, physical and psychological abuse, racism, sex trafficking, war and grief.
The festival will be an intersection between art and social justice giving independent artists a place to create, thrive and bring to market work they are passionate about without fear it will never be seen. Artists are allowed to take risk, tell their stories as they work to change the world.
The PTAFF is dedicated to the discovery and presentation of emerging artists, giving them an opportunity to let their voices be heard around the world. Injustice in many forms is a reality affecting our global community, as artists we have a responsibility to stand up against injustice. Many artists take action to turn these injustices around through their work. We seek to support and aide these artist as they help to transform, save and change the lives of those who suffer, creating a sense of hope to fuel our struggle.
OUR MISSION
The Pembroke Taparelli Arts Festival (PTAFF) is a celebration of Domestic and International Artists (Filmmakers, Performers, visual artists) who are committed to fostering global change through the Arts. We celebrate those fearless artists who are willing to share the good, the bad, and the ugly of our times holding themselves accountable for the change they desire to see.
The PTAFF will inspire conversation and promote a better understanding of the power the arts wield in combatting the injustices that have become a part of our daily lives.
In addition, PTAFF is committed to the following:
Affirm the place the arts have in strengthening our universal commitment to Human Rights and Social Justice.
Promote the arts as a powerful tool in the global dialogue of peace and mutual respect.
Bring together international filmmakers, performers, artists and educators to present their work and share with community leaders and community audiences.
Promote healing through the arts, celebrate rich cultures, and share diverse experiences locally and internationally.
Create a pathway where socially conscious films and art work can be a part of mainstream film distribution.
Instructions for film submission
Each year, we select 10 Feature Films, 30 Short Films to play in each of our Festival programs. However, you may not submit your film directly to any one specific program.
The film’s subject matter, the production itself or the film’s director should have a strong connection to ecological topic, environmental, environmentally friendly technologies, urbanistics, road movie, nature and minority people, protection of nature.

O Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantástico e de Terror em Tàrrega - Galacticat, que acontece todos os anos desde 2014, é o primeiro e único Festival de Cinema Fantástico e de Terror nas terras de Lleida, destinado a todos os cinéfilos em geral e aos amantes da ficção científica e do terror em particular e com uma clara vocação divulgativa. O Galacticat nasceu como uma iniciativa para recuperar os clássicos universais da ficção científica para o público em geral e mergulhar nessa cultura que articula o universo do cinema desde o início. Ao longo dos anos, o Galacticat cresceu, envolvendo cada vez mais cidadãos neste festival de cinema, aumentando gradualmente as atividades programadas, festas, shows, exibições, participação do público, atividades da indústria e a resposta da indústria cinematográfica.
O Festival de Cinema de Zaragoza, fundado em 1995 para criar uma atividade cinematográfica na cidade. No início, seu título principal era Young Filmmakers. Desde 2007, seu nome oficial passou a ser Festival de Cinema de Zaragoza.

A partir de 2021, após celebrar a 25ª edição do Festival, propomos uma evolução do projeto.

O Festival Internacional de Cinema de Leon IFFOL convida todos os cineastas a participarem da Chamada Oficial do IFFOL 2024 de 1º de abril a 05 de agosto deste ano, podendo se inscrever com longa-metragem de ficção, não ficção ou animação, curta-metragem ou documentário curto para fazer parte da 10ª edição consecutiva a ser realizada entre 30 de outubro e 03 de novembro deste ano. Um dos principais interesses da equipe organizadora da ficmonterrey é incentivar novas perspectivas, aquelas que são jovens não por causa da idade, mas porque estão frescas, por permanecerem críticas, por inovarem e se aventurarem em vários riscos.
O objetivo geral do ficmonterrey é reunir em Nuevo León um público presencial e virtual em todo o México, diante de uma seleção de cinema contemporâneo mexicano e internacional criado por cineastas com visões diversas, novas, arriscadas, críticas e inovadoras. Da mesma forma, estamos interessados em fornecer um espaço de treinamento que promova o encontro entre cineastas, filmes e público; e atividades que promovam a produção cinematográfica, especialmente feminina e regional.
With twenty-two years of existence, (the first edition was in 1997) AVANCA Film Festival was awarded first place in 2011 contest of the support film festivals sponsored by ICA / Ministry of Culture.
An additional thematic programming has happened over all these years, giving space to screening of significant works of contemporary cinema appropriately framed in concerns and / or well-defined objectives.
The AVANCA is known as a space for workshops led by personalities of world cinema, and being more than a "master class", has allowed a unique cinema practice. Every year we have always 6 or 7 workshops, bringing together participants from all over Europe. The media have written that this is the largest European area of professional workshops in the field of cinema.
AVANCA is the only festival that congregates a Cinema International Competition, works from the television area, video and new supports of multimedia, with a special concern of exhibit the best world productions done in each category.
Since the first edition, the festival only accepts unprecedented films in Portugal.
The World Premiere competition is unique in our country and was only possible because Avanca became a passage point of unpublished authors and movies with great quality. Films that have their world premiere in the festival, independently of the submitted category, are also participating in the World Premiere Competition.
AVANCA is the Portuguese festival with the highest percentage of worldwide unpublished movies that find here their first showing.
In 2020 Edition, Avanca will bring for the first time the VR Competition, where films in virtual reality 360°, narrative or experimental (but with no interactivity) are allowed.
Since 2010, we have organized the international film conference AVANCA | CINEMA, becoming the most important conference in the field of cinema in the Iberian Peninsula. This conference brings together speakers and participants from around the world.
Thematic exhibitions, editions of books, bibliographic presentations and various projects have marked these last 10 years of AVANCA with the quality that compels the festival and the participants obviously require.
