The On-Line Festival presents films accepted into ALL categories – Drama, Comedy, Horror, Documentary, Animation and the local Three Counties competition. The On-Line Festival will be available for 3 weeks after the festival in Beeston.
The Beeston Oscar, or B’Oscar, is awarded to the best film in the following categories - Drama, Horror, Comedy, Documentary and Animation.
This year a new local competition has been created called Three Counties category, that is split into two sections: Long (up to 15 minutes); and Short (up to 5 minutes). Filmmakers from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire ONLY with films in any genre can submit. The prize pool is amazing because we have teamed up with Matthew Martino Benevolent Fund (MMBF), a UK based international charity that supports filmmakers and actors, so as well as a B’Oscar there is
Three Counties Long - a MMBF Rising Star Award (£150 prize, mentoring plus physical award and other perks)
Three Counties Short - a MMBF Best Short Award (£50 prize and physical award).
Further prizes will be awarded for Best Director, Best Script, Best Cinematography, Best Acting Performance, Best Soundtrack & Sound Design and an Audience award, too. And, of course, there is a wonderful Best in Festival B’Oscar, too, designed by the renowned ceramic artist, Anna Collette Hunt.

Il concorso ibero-americano del IBAGUÉ INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL sarà caratterizzato dalla selezione del meglio del cinema di lingua spagnolo, dove registi, produttori e registi professionali o empirici, Ibero-americani che hanno realizzato opere audiovisive in formati di fiction, documentari e sperimentali, il cui tema è focalizzato sulla narrazione e/o l'espressione di situazioni che rappresentano le realtà della vita quotidiana ibero-americana attraverso la lente cinematografica.
I materiali in formato cortometraggio la cui durata non supera i 20 minuti per breve e i 100 minuti per LongMetraje potranno partecipare, in questa categoria (1) cortometraggio e un lungometraggio saranno premiati con il premio «BEST SHORT FILM AND BEST IBEROAMERICAN LONG-FIMING» che consisterà in statuetta e Certificato che lo accrediti.

Nella categoria Ibero-americana un gruppo composto da tre esperti di cinematografia effettuerà la selezione finale (2) cortometraggi e due (2) lungometraggi per genere, che entreranno direttamente a far parte della nostra selezione ufficiale nelle proiezioni.

L’Associazione i Ken APS ETS, in occasione della 18ª edizione del Festival Cinematografico Omosessuale e Questioning OMOVIES, bandisce un Concorso destinato ad opere audiovisive a tematica omosessuale, transgender e/o questioning. Il Festival sarà svolto sia on-line che in presenza in sala cinema.

Il Festival del cinema di 100 secondi è un incontro per i registi internazionali che usano la loro brevità e la loro infinita creatività artistica per realizzare un film con immagini promettenti del «cinema etnico» in varie dimensioni, formati e prospettive, per perfezionare la vita del pubblico creando cortometraggi fino a 100 secondi di arte. La tredicesima edizione di questo festival si terrà dal 28 febbraio al 3 marzo 2023 nella città di Teheran, in IRAN; dopo una pausa di 4 anni a causa della crisi del Corona.
Il Circolo di Cultura Cinematografica "Segni nuovi", in collaborazione con il Circolo di cultura cinematografica "Alcamo Doc", organizza la quindicesima edizione di "Cortiamo", concorso internazionale di cortometraggi.

E' bene chiarire che i partecipanti alla sezione "Videoclip" dovranno espressamente dichiarare di essere autorizzati alla partecipazione al concorso dai detentori del diritto d'autore sulla canzone.
Ciascun cortometraggio potrà partecipare a più sezioni e tutti i cortometraggi inviati partecipano automaticamente alla selezione per il "miglior film" e premio "Segni nuovi".
Solo i selezionati per il "miglior film" concorreranno anche all'assegnazione del "premio del pubblico" .
In 2006 the U.S. Congress designated an area known as the Gullah Geechee corridor which runs from Wilmington, NC to Jacksonville, Fl. This corridor is considered “home to one of America’s most unique culture”.
Today the Horry County Gullah Geechee Heritage Festival is in its ninth year. We are proud present programs that pass the torch to future generations so that they know from where Gullah came. Our work is very important. That is why we host an annual festival, which features Gullah arts and culture. The festival has seen growth over the past years. We discuss who we are, where we are, and what we need to do. We celebrate the African American people. We invite anybody to come in to learn.
The Horry County Gullah Geechee Heritage committee has striven for the past nine years to recognize the cultural importance of this designation.Under the leadership of Ms. Sondra Ward, since 2007 this event has become an annual reunion and home coming for Gullah Geechee descendants. The addition of our film festival enhances our overall mission.
We serve all of Horry County and neighboring Georgetown County. This project is as much about pride for people of Gullah descent as it is about awareness for the community. To date we’ve had support from local businesses, Horry County Parks and Recreation, City of Myrtle Beach, Coastal Carolina University, Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, Town of Atlantic Beach, the Little River Chamber of Commerce, and local churches.

Animalada Sevilla’s main objective is to bring the world of animation from all areas to the public in general.Also intends to create a meeting point and discussion for fans and industry professionals, promoting the exchange of ideas, coworking between companies and producing and showing the potential of our community to the world.

Il San Pedro International Film Festival è stato fondato per celebrare la diversità della cultura e della comunità di San Pedro con un ampio spettro di film indipendenti, documentari e cortometraggi. SPIFF si impegna a esporre film che incarnano intrattenimento stimolante per tutti. Il prolifico scrittore e poeta americano Charles Bukowski ha chiamato San Pedro casa per 15 anni. Alcuni dei primi cortometraggi di DW Griffith sono stati girati a San Pedro. Al giorno d'oggi è più probabile trovare troupe cinematografiche per NCIS, Mad Men e Dexter. Altri film girati a San Pedro includono 'King Kong', 'Chinatown', 'Point Break', 'Silence of the Lambs', 'The usual Suspects', 'Pearl Harbor', 'Titanic', '500 Days of Summer', e una tonnellata di più. SPIFF è entusiasta di presentare la nostra 5a edizione in una città con una storia cinematografica così ricca.

Il festival Itinerant Cinema in Mi Barrio si consolida come una piattaforma vitale per la diffusione di cortometraggi nazionali nel dipartimento del Cauca, offrendo al pubblico di varie sottoregioni l'opportunità di godersi il cinema su uno schermo gigante. Il bando 2024 è aperto a cortometraggi che, grazie alla loro proposta narrativa, si distinguono e hanno il potenziale per raggiungere un pubblico eterogeneo.
Le opere cinematografiche possono affrontare temi liberi, con particolare attenzione ad aspetti come l'ambiente, i diritti umani, la creatività e la gioventù, le arti e le culture, riflettendo così la ricchezza della biodiversità colombiana.
Quest'anno, il percorso itinerante del festival inizia nel Cauca Pacifico, con tappe a Timbiquí e Guapi. La sala mobile si sposterà quindi a sud, nelle terre di Patía, e successivamente a nord a Santander de Quilichao, nelle Valles del Cauca. Visiterai anche la parte orientale di Tierra Distancia, nota per i suoi tesori nascosti.
Il festival avrà una programmazione speciale durante la settimana centrale a Popayán, nel Cauca, dove verranno sviluppate attività aggiuntive, tra cui workshop, conferenze e mostre ufficiali. Questo itinerario non mira solo a presentare cortometraggi, ma anche a promuovere il dialogo e lo scambio culturale, riaffermando l'impegno del festival a promuovere il cinema nazionale a livello locale e internazionale.
The Festival will take place within the 5th edition of TESAPE, an event for the national cinema industry, to be held from 21 to 24 September 2016 in the Centro Paraguayo Japonés in Asuncion city, Paraguay. The Festival is aimed at young people learning a career, course or audiovisual workshop, and for those filmmakers who want to participate with their first productions. In addition to the official competition that brings together national and regional short films, the Festival will develop an instance Open Screen, for those films that have not been selected.
Sono già passati sedici anni da questo festival, che anno dopo anno, con passo deciso, ha ampliato le sue proposte per il buon cinema. Lies far away 1999, quando sponsorizzato dal duo umoristico Gomaespuma e M-80 Radio iniziò la prima edizione del festival con lo slogan «gli indiani stanno arrivando! ». Alla fine Imagineindia si è internazionalizzata, proiettando film provenienti da tutto il mondo, mentre quelli asiatici occupano ancora la maggior parte del festival.
